If you think about the 2008 election, major presidential candidates were Obama and McCain. Obviously, we know who the president ended up being but in retrospect would have McCain done any better tackling the issues we're facing now? What has Obama done wrong and are his chances for reelection in 2012 more unlikely now? The issues we're facing now have been building up to this point..or am I wrong?

Hello all! I keep my house and kitchen very clean, usually cleaning up before bed just to avoid the hassle in the morning. Anyway, I've recently acquired sugar ants along the doorway of my pantry (but not in or around food, just the doorway) and on a counter top (no ants in drawers or cabinets). They have their trail from my back door, but the trail ends on a door hinge, as far as I can tell. I've tried a cornstarch and borax bait. Then I added just crushed up borax to the corners where they are sometimes. And finally, I've began spraying my counters with borax and water and wiping before bed. They are actually ATTRACTED to the borax! It's been about 4 or 5 days and there are MORE since I started this. Does it normally get worse before it gets better? Any suggestions? I appreciate it! :)

i noticed lately that when im on the computer i get a sharp pain in neck. The last three times ive been oh the computer i have gotten this pain. is it possible that this is related to Eye problems? The pain usually last for a few minutes.

maybe not exactly like him but i want a lot of tone. i wanna start playing a lot of blues. i have a ibnez rg. my amp is a fender frontman dsp 212. my pedals are the weeping demon wah and a ibanez tube screamer. i wanna know what else i can get with these to get a nice overdrive blues sound. what settings should i put my amp on like what to set the reverb and bass and all of the stuff on. are there anyother pedals i can get please help me

OK, recently i got what most people call a "perm" (permanent straightening). Now after the perm i payed for a straightening meaning she straightened it herself with some kind of professional straightener. After waiting a week for the product she put to take effect (note: My hair wasn't nappy at all even after i got out of bed) i took a shower, and to my surprise not the same results when i straightened it ( I have a 35$ straightener and it's not that good) it was not the same thing at all.......So finally my question does a more expensive (60$ or more around that area) well structured flat iron work better then my 30$ flat iron? I've seen my friends use like trésemmé straighteners and there hair are worst then mine and they have better hair after using it.... so is it better?

around my hole (labia opening) i have a few painless bumps i think their pimples as they are painless and skin colored and when i press down they bleed... they could be glands, hair follices etc... what does it sound like to you? im going to the doc tomorrow just to be sure.

I am trying to print a PDF using Adobe Reader 9 and my Epson NX215 printer, I have searched everywhere on both websites trying to fix the problem, from uninstalling both programs and printer drivers and downloads restarting numerous times and nothing still seems to be working. When I open to program and try to print the PDF the same error message pops up saying Cannot print document, no pages were selected. Now, this is the VERY first thing I check before I print ANYTHING..lol What can be causing this and how can I get this fixed? Would be such a big deal if the PDF wasn't for a JOB and in my field, schools are cutting music programs every hour on the hour...finally get a good lead and now this happens :/ Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!! I was mad at my friend for something and I let her know through email. Then she replied back something really nasty and off-topic, so I got mad again for her making personal attacks on me, things that weren't even related to the original issue. So then I wrote her back telling her that she doesn't need to be getting mad at me just because I'm mad at her for something that could have been fixed if she just apologized... and then she never wrote me back. I work with her on the weekends and it is so awkward because we just don't acknowledge each other at all. It's like we're ghosts to each other. I don't know what to do. I don't want to apologize to her because I don't feel that I've done anything wrong. At the same time, she's not responding to me through email or confronting me about anything so I can't force it out of her. It's been about 2 weeks. I even thought of "being the bigger person" and emailing her something about how I was really angry at the time so I've calmed down now... but then again, I still don't think I did anything wrong, and I had every right to be mad with her, and she is the one who should be sorry for what she did. It bothers me that she thinks that nothing she does is ever wrong and it's always my fault. Should I just wait it out? Make a move? I wouldn't even mind waiting if we didn't work together but I see her every weekend (and it's not a place where I should be confronting issues like this with her anyway.) I just don't think that I should be the one making the move to get this resolved, when I already tried and she's just outright ignoring me.

My friend has done a pregnancy test that come back positive so went to the doctors, they done bloods and urine, the urine also come back positive but the blood negative, which is the more important test as she is confused and the doctors have told her she is not pregnant. There are often answers that have extensive empirical data backing them (i.e. scientific facts). This typically happens in such areas as evolution, the Big Bang, abiogenesis, ... Why do people "thumbs down" these answers? If you are a person who does this: * Is it an emotional response (i.e. you just don't like the answer)? * Does your religion say that the answer is wrong. * Do you have other empirical data? * Is it something else? I know that many people would love to give a "smart" answer impugning those who do this, but I'd really like to just hear from the people who do the TDs.

Ok I have a 1993 eclipse and I went to work and it made s jerk and it seemed like the car drive fine like it fixed itself ok I thought it's nothing I get on my break and head to the library I have no power hardly to excelerate well I get down the road and it goes I stop at the light to turn and it takes it's slow time well I get down the hill and it picks up speed it has more back up power than forward power I've changed the transmission fluid on it that didn't help so now idk what to do anybody that can give me any help I would appreciate it

Hi guys! Well, on my Gibson guitar, whenever I use the bridge pickup and play a group of notes near or around frets 5 to 7, on the first string, they seem to "ring out" and have a "double" effect. It does not happen with the neck pickup. I thought the string was too close to the pickup so I lowered it (pickup), but this did not help. It does not happen on any other strings, regardless of pickup used. Any ideas of what could be causing it? I play lead lines on that position and suppose I play frets 5-7-8 on the first string (with bridge pickup), after the 5th and 7th frets have been played, the 8th fret can barely be heard because the previous two frets seem to "echo" and "ring out"... Any suggestions? Thanks!!

When I'm on the computer there is one vein in my eye that gets really red. It's always the same vein and doesn't hurt or effect my vision at all, it just looks bad. Recently i bought a used car sub and amp, i also got a capacitor with it and have a few questions. I already hooked every thing up without the capacitor and it works great, at night my headlights only dim slightly if i have it playing very loud. (1)So would hooking up my capacitor take some of the stain off my battery? (2)Should i buy another in-line fuse to put between my capacitor and amp? (3)Also i only got 2 ring terminals with it, so could i hook the wire coming from my battery and the wire going to my amp into the same ring terminal? id rather not buy another ring terminal and in-line fuse holder if they are not necessary, and im also not sure where to get them except online. also, if it matters my amp and sub are both rated at 500w rms, thanks

Hello, I am in High School football and I am wondering if I could play tight end or just stick with wide receiver. I am 5'5 and weigh 135 lbs lean mass. I am aggressive and run the 40 yard dash in 4.8 seconds and am still working to get faster. I can squat 135 lbs 11 times and bench 95 about one time. I a trying to get stronger as well but I just want to know your opinions and honesty. Thank you.
