He got his eyes tested today because he was having problems and he needs glasses. He said he wouldn't wear them so I bought him the coolest pair (To him) in the shop, they're like Wayfarers, they're nerdy glasses and I've ordered him lots of wacky glasses online (Don't worry, my optician advised us to check out these sites and said he'd check to see if the glasses are suited to Spencer when we get them). Do you think he'll have anymore problems? He gets picked on at school as it is for having a weird sense of style (He likes to wear wacky hats & Ties, but he has to wear a uniform but he tries his best to encorporate his unique style into his uniform). What if they pick on him for wearing glasses?

For 3 years, I acted in plays for our community theater every summer. The director, David, was a real doll. He worked with me, told me and showed me what he wanted me to do. Never once yelled at me, nor called me any nasty names. I always turned myself inside out, trying to do things the way David wanted me to. Last summer, David got edged out, and a new director, Bob, installed in his place. Bob yelled at me again and again. Evey single rehearsal. He insulted me, as well. Called me "idiotic" and often said that I could not do what he wanted because of my age. I must be in the early stages of Alzheimer's. He thoroughly embarrassed me, every single rehearsal. I went home feeling like I was going to cry, every night. Once, I burst into tears in front of the whole cast. Last summer, I wanted, every night, to quit that play. I am not a quitter, and so I saw it through. I did a creditable job, too. Lots of compliments. After it was over, Bob wrote emails to the entire cast thanking them for their hard work, giving out compliments for what they had done. Everyone except me. I did not hear one word from him. So this summer, I did not join the play. I had to go and see it, however, as one of my grandkids was on stage a lot, and the other was running the spotlight. It was a wonderful play. My granddaughter said Bob did not yell much this year. However, I asked this other older actor, who told me Bob did yell at him. As much as last year, and maybe more. So, I was glad I had not joined this year. I saw Bob before the show, and we chatted. I told him I'd heard David had come that night to see the show. He didn't know who David was. I told him "I worked under David's direction for three years before you came along. I gave him my very best effort. And, ya know what? In all that time, David did not yell at me even one time.!" And Bob said to me, "As opposed to me, I suppose." I said "Dang right" and he said "Sorry!" But I could tell he wasn't sorry. He thought all that yelling is how you are supposed to direct a play. When it was all over, Bob asked if I'd talked with David, and did David like the play? Yes, and yes. David loved the play. Many of his friends were in it. My daughter said I was very rude to Bob. I should never have brought up the fact that David never yelled, I should not have said I liked David a lot and I worked very hard for him. Would you have said anything like that to Bob? Or should I just have swallowed that remark and left it alone?

I need help with this!!!!!! NO STUPID ANSWERS! Me and my girlfriend are madly in love and would never do anything to hurt each other. One day were sending some dirty texts like about taking clothes off and touching each other. But then she got in trouble for something not related to me and got her phone taken away then her mom read our texts. She got mad at me and so i said i was sorry and calmed her down. Then what i thought was a private conversation mt gf called her a b**** and i agreed and told my gf i hate her mom! my gf doesnt like her mom either because she is her step mom and is always in her business. So we talked about that for awhile on Facebook chat and sure enough some how her mom got her password and read or entire conversation which had private information that her mom told to everyone in her family and on top of that she hates me! So i said i was sorry like 3 times and her mom ignores me and doesn't say anything back!!! now i cant even talk or see my gf ! I don't know what else to do PLEASE HELP!!!!

my husband filed for divorce in nov 2010. I'm 17 years old and my step sister is 9 yrs old, we share the same father but i will explain that later. Well i feel a bit torn right now and don't know how to deal with this feeling. Since we live in different house hold and have different lives, it's hard to stay in touch. My parents are very busy people and where ever they go i end up going. what my little sister fails to understand is that we cant stop what we're doing to do what she wants to do with me. She would throw a huge fit and tell me I'm the liar and she hates me. Sometimes i don't pick up the phone b/c i don't want to hear her getting upset over the fact that i can't jump when she says jump. I'm going to be entering my junior yr in High school and taking the ACT, so my mind has to be on school. I don't know what to do besides try to stay into through the next 2 yrs, do you have any advice? Second part: At the end of August my little sister is having her 10th birthday party and she want my older sister and me to go. The catch is that the man who helped create me is going to be there. I only seen and hung out with him only a few time when i was younger, but then he stopped seeing my older sister and i, yet he still sees my little sister(the one in the first part). It's been over ten yrs since i last seen this man, and still i gotten no letters, phone calls, or a little visit from him. My little sister says that he is just been really busy, (with what for over ten yrs?!?) >=( My step dad is more of a man and a better father than this jerk will ever be!! Anyways, he will be at the birthday party. I don't want to put myself in a situation where i will feel uncomfortable, unhappy, and unsafe even though there will be other adults. I have gone to her other last to birthday parties since we finally meet face to face 2 yrs ago, so i think not going to this one shouldn't be bad since i bet she will have more in the future. Is it wrong of me to decided not to go b/c he will be there??

I've taken the LIRR many times before but I'm just nervous only because I've never had to switch trains at Jamaica before in order to reach Stony Brook. My boyfriend and I had sex last on July 9th, 2011. We used a condom AND he pulled out to be extra safe. I got my period on July 26,2011 and it lasted 7 days like it usually does. But before i got my period, i was really stressing and worrying about being pregnant. I did not experience symptoms of getting my period like i usually do, such as sore/tender breasts and breaking out on my face. I calmed down a little since i got my period but now it seems like my stomach is a little bigger than usual, i might just be paranoid,because i am. but i need help, any thoughts?

Helping my mom lose weight? My mom says she wants to lose weight all of the time. She is most likely about 20 to 30 pounds overweight and I know she is unhappy about it. Im a 15 year old girl and I want to help my mom! But she gets really defensive when she starts eating some M&Ms and I tell her that isnt smart. When she goes shopping all she talks about is how she likes nothing because she doesnt want to be that size. This has gone on for the past around 5 years, and every summer she says she is really going to try and loose the weight, and well...its august and yet again it isnt happening. I just want my mom to be happy and I know that if she lost the weight she would be so much happier! When I grow up I dont want to regret not helping my mom with this! What should I do? She is the kind of person that will just get angry at me if I sit down with her and try and talk about this with. She will get defensive because she is very self conscious about her weight. Please Please Please help! . Additional Details Also, she does like to exercise! She may not do it very often, I believe sometimes this is due to lazyness/tiredness because she is driving 3 kids around all day while dad is at work, but for example she exercized on the tredmil today for like an hour. I guess maybe she does need more motivation to exercise... I wish there was a program she could do...like weight watchers or something? But how would i tell her nicely to do it?

Hi. First of all I'd like to say thanks for looking at my question. I was good friends with this boy I met at school, and I got feelings for him around a month after I met him. I was all set to tell him, but he came out as gay and I was so hurt. I left school and I tried to get over him. I thought I HAD, until I asked him to hang out one day a couple of months later. I realised I still liked him. I hugged him and it was like...electric. 10 months on, I still like him. The feelings are even stronger, if anything. I've tried to forget about him, believe me I have, and I haven't even seen him for 10 months. I don't know what to do, I've tried distracting myself but nothing works. I texted him last month a few times asking him to hang out 'but he either replies "umm, perhaps sometime." or totally ignores my text. wer both 24 and been together 5 years which have only been 45% good. He used to and still does make fake profiles of men and try flirting with me on them, which i do not do back. Then he pretends its a girl behind the fake profile and start giving me abuse..I KNOW THESE SO CALLED GIRLS ARE HIM. They always say the same sort of insults to me and i can tell by the way they write that its him. He also hacks my profile and looks at conversations i have with my friends, i know this because he slips up and mentions things i havent told him about. Other than this hes lovely, everyone says how perfect he is. He also takes pics of my privates when i am unaware. I hate him because of these things and i hope im strong enough to stay away from him and move on, i deserve better, i just dont understand why he does it? I have never given him any reason to not trust me and he'll do anything for me so why? I know hes going to try and get me back but i need help in staying strong, help.
