ok, here's a long story.i've been in love with this amazing, beautiful, crazily too perfect boy.(this is how I see him, not so sure about other people).for about the past 2 years.i've tried to stop likeing him, but it's not happening, at all. last year, he told me he liked me, but liked another girl more. he went out with her and got his heart broke, shattered.i hate that girl and wish i could tell her how awful and stupid she is, also how much she lost.and if only i could tell him he should have picked me, maybe that's what he is thinking? now, the next year of school (after a long summer together with friends at our country club)he flirts with me,makes excuses to touch me (putting his hand over my arm saying"man, u look like you got sun burned today") stares at me, and holds my eye contact a lot. plus, he makes me laugh and is very protective over me(in a definite boyfriend type way, caring if i'm crying or sad)Does he like me? I need answers here!!!! this year, i had only a class with him and i took off my jacket, and i was wearing a really low shirt and as soon as he saw it, his eyes got huge but he blushed and looked away quickly. hope that helps, plus, when we first went ot the gun club last summer, i had never been on a boat after we almost sank one time with my friends and i was terrified. i was persuaded to get on his dads boat with all us teens and i was scared as heck! he was sitting on the back with his friends, but when he saw how scared i was, he came and sat by me, making jokes about how he should drive the boat so i wouldnt feel scared. i had laughed, but then i said to him dropping a hint,"well, i probably wouldnt be scared, it's not like u would crash it or anything.i'd feel safe" he only blushed and tried unsuccessfully to hold back a huge smile! so sorry for the long story, but i would love a good answer!does he like or love me???!

I've looked around (via google) for online jobs, but I seem to keep running into what seem to be scams. Im pretty sure my last girlfriend ended things because she had been hurt before me. She cried pretty hard when she ended things and I was obiously hurt and didn't care to ask why. Next friday, there will be a circus, and they have a bad history of animal cruelty. I want to grab some friends and protest there (I'm 15, almost 16). If we protest quietly, peacefully, and with posters,(we wont do nothing like throw rocks at the circus performers or anything like that), we wont get in trouble right? It is after all, freedom of assembly, stated in the First Amendment. I just rented out a basement apartment and the bedroom only has one small window. It's not crazy dark, but I would like it lighter and more cheerful. I can't re-paint the walls (they're a light beige now), or put nails, etc. in the walls to hang things. I was looking at full-spectrum light bulbs, and maybe putting some mirrors where the light from the window hits. Also- some plants that like shade. Any more ideas? Thanks! :D

From previous reaction resulting a question of mine, I realized that allot of people qualify having several short relationships as behavior that could only result from some emotional issue. Where I come from its perfectly acceptable for women to have a range of partners before settling or even considering having a long-term relationship. I'll be moving to the US for my freshmen year at college to an eastern city (aka not too conservative, I hope). Apart from already getting labeled for being a foreigner I very much want to avoid any other judgments by adhering to social conduct. Also watching some American films, where a kiss is the result of a long lasting relationship in contrat to TV-shows like '$ex and the City' sort of made me contemplate what is Hollywood and what is the norm. So how many make-out partners, $exual partners or even boyfriends are socially acceptable in the time frame of one year? or are such things disregarded at college where students are trying to 'find themselves' and a surplus of alcohol is available? Thanks for your help and honesty.

I got my braces off a year and a half ago. I have been wearing my retainers every day for a year, and now every night. I have never gone a night without wearing them, but recently they have been giving my teeth and gums some problems. I woke up and my tooth was sore and my bottom gums were inflamed and red on the left side of my mouth, the right side is perfectly fine.
