[ Dogs ] Open Question : Trying to discipline my 4 month old puppy and he attacked me. Help!?

We have a 4 month old Great Pyerenese/ Lab puppy, we have had him since he was 6 weeks old. Every time we try to discipline him he freaks out and this is the third time that he has truly attacked me or my wife. The first time was with my wife and the second with me. He has actually ripped skin open scratching and biting at us. We are not beating this dog, we are simply spanking him because of silly puppy things such as having accidents on the floor or chewing things. We also have a 2 year old yorkie, never had this problem with her, and we discipline her for the same things in the same way we discipline him so I know that it isn't us. Anybody have any tips or thoughts on how to fix this problem. We have two kids and this behavior is not acceptable around them. Thanks!

My birthday is in a little less than a month and I need a new phone! But I have no idea what kind or how to even start looking. First of all, iPhone or smartphone? Or regular cell phone I have the newest ipod touch and I really like it. Because I have that, I was thinking I wouldn't want to get an iphone because they would be practically the exact same thing and I thought they were too fragile for an everyday phone i carry in my back pocket with me everywhere. and it would be horrible if (when) I lose or break/scratch it. But... smart phones are really expensive and so are smart phone plans. and I think the technology is much better in iphones (so I've heard) So maybe it would be best for me to just get a regular cell phone? But what kind?! I would like for it to have at least a camera/video recording, bluetooth, and full keyboard or touchscreen (that works well). It would cool if it had wifi too but that is not a necessity. Also, we have Verizon and I like to text a lot :) Thanks so much for helping me out!! I really don't know much about cell phones and plans and all that stuff.. :/

I got Betta yesterday and i fed him today. I fed him "BettaMin Tropical Medley". He ate some of it but for most part, he would chew it up then spit it out. He would do that till the pieces were to small for him to eat. I gave him some blood worms for a snack and he ate those right up. Then for dinner he did the same thing with the flakes. Is he just getting used to the new food or should i try a different type of food? Thank you for your help!

So I forget the beginning of it, but I was driving around with my friends (two friends) in sort of a breach setting with a lot of cliffs and we kept getting lost. We eventually figured out where we were so one of my friends (lets call her A) decided it would be better to run there because she knows all these shortcuts. Everyone agreed so she piled out of the car and my other friend (B) and I took off for the place (a diner of some sort) to eat dinner. I am driving and B is in the back seat. I pull onto the highway (the sun is out and it is like mid-day) and I begin to not pay attention when I am driving. I actually don't pay attention at all and unbuckle and flip around to have a full conversation with B in the backseat. I mention that I haven't seen A running along the roads and B replies with maybe A is a really fast runner. I shrug my shoulder and turn back forward. I then begin playing with all devices in my car and somehow the wheel gets behind my head. Well I start to lose control and try to get the wheel back in front of me, but it is too late. The car starts spinning. I call out "get your seat buckle on" and start to reach for mine (I am not tumbling at all or thrashing around. The car is moving around me ), but before I do the car falls off a cliff and there is a dirty, brown lake beneath us. I begin to remember all the steps that you are supposed to take when are going to crash into a lake. I open the door and unbuckle.(I know this steps are wrong, but this is what was correct in my dream)I look back and see B with a wound on her head. She is bleeding and unconscious, but she still has her buckle on so I reach back and unbuckle her. I hold on to her until the car crashes into the water and then jump out. After I get her on shore I realize my car is still above water, but sinking so I begin to grab everything inside. I am able to grab everything and then decide that I can save my whole car. Very easily (only the wheels are in the water yet) I grab my car and push onto the shore. All of a sudden it is night. There are two other people there and we have a discussion. (No one is injured except for the cut B got on her head, but she already woke up) It seems about three other cars crashed into the water. All of a sudden my mom is there and a whole entire group of people to protest against something completely unrelated to the car crash. My mom has B hold up a poster for the protest. I stand next to her and overhear a conversation she has with an old man. They were comparing their different pamphlets. That's when I woke up. I know that is a lot. Even little translation would be good. Thanks.

My 2007 macbook has recently started acting up, when I plug in the magsafe adapter it flashes green and then stays green instead of turning yellow to actually charge the computer. After going to system profiler it told me the battery wasn't charging at all. I tried reseting the smc and tried opening the computer to find any faulty grounding (As well as pram reset). I don't understand what's happening to it and need advice on what to do to fix it since I'm out of warranty.

This was some 5 years ago, but I recently remembered it and couldn't help but ask it here. I was at the open pool, I went there with my friends in the summer. After swimming for a bit, we went to the burguer shop of the pool. It was a sunny hot day and the line wasn't long, but the burguers were cooked on the moment people ordered them, so it took a while. When I got there I ordered my meal, and while waiting, my mouth started to get dormant, specially my tongue, and I stopped seeing anything. I remember my friend debora said my skin went pale and my eye iris was weird. I was a kid back then so the responsible for our group and one of the shop owners took me inside the kitchen, I sitted down and they gave me a cup of water with sugar. Slowly, little spikes of colour started popping in from the brightest areas of my field of vision, until it was all black and white (not like in tv, a more rough version of that), and then the colours slowly popped in. I got really scared because I thought I was blind, I didn't panic though, I'm allways a very calm person. Does anyone know what happened? Sorry if I couldn't explain myself very well.

Today was my first day as a high school freshman. I was placed in honors geometry, honors biology, Spanish 2, AP Human Geography, Spanish 2, and Honors Written and Oral Communications (English). I'm having a hard enough time finding my classes and making it to them on time, not to mention I'm attempting to make new friends. How can I cope with all the work?? It's really overwhelming! It seems like I won't have any time to play sports, join clubs, or hang out with my friends. Any tips or tricks to get my work done faster? I have a study hall right after geometry, but it's only 2nd period, so at least I can get that out of the way. What about all the other work?

I hear that in addition to actually burning calories during exercise, like walking (I'm starting a mile a day), you can get additional weight loss from a period of increased metabolism after the walk, maybe a few hours, and that also the increased muscle in your body can lead to weight loss, I forget exactly how. (Warning: Before you manage to look stupid or piss me off keep in mind that this is my OWN opinion and you don't need to have the right to change it. And this is actually kind of an outlet but to make it valid I made it a question) What are some words/phrases you hate? Mine would be "yummy" PISS OFF, it isn't the 50's. NOR is it a "cute" or "funny" word. It's basically a gayer version of yum. It's on par with words/terms like "totally" and "ur". Typical sentence that makes me cringe: "I had cake yesterday, it was yummy =]." Another thing I hate would be when people can't tell the difference between "dis" and this. Can't those idiots/lazy bums care to just CARE to type in one more letter? Typical sentence that makes me cringe: "zomg ur just jelus cuz justin bieber has mor money den u." Here. Let me give you a little lesson. den=WRONG than=RIGHT. ur=WRONG you're=RIGHT. We might even begin to start putting your and ur the same meaning in the dictionary as you're because these idiots and/or fat bums can't tell the difference between those three. Another thing I hate is the "fake and gay" trolls on youtube. So it's like this. My ex bf and i broke up recently over some issues we were having, for some weeks we never spoke or had any contact whatsoever and then on Saturday i decided to go clubbing with one of my best friends and everything was going good. My ex showed up later on and i was in shock, i jus froze. I didn't know what to say or do and then my best friend realized what was going on. My ex couldn't even watch me in my face. He came into the club, acknowledged me by touching my hand and didn't even look me in the eyes or anything. After a while he came to talk to me, we talked for a little while and he then left as it was late. When he went to his car my best friend caught him looking at me but when he noticed he got into the car and drove off. Now today he called me. I was even more shocked! We talked for a while about the break up and everything then he asked me questions like "do u still love me?", "how did you feel when you saw me saturday?" "do you miss me?", "Do you like how things are between us?" and he's telling me which club he'll be in his weekend,he also told me he really loved me and stuff. After we talked and we were coming off the phone all he had to say was "well i'll see you around sometime" in a soft voice. I am soooo confused! one minute he wants nothing to do with me and now suddenly he's just making little conversation!
