We recently moved into a place that already had free cable hooked up in the bedrooms--we went with a satillite provider for our living room because when we attempted to recieve cable for the living room from comcast we were told our address didn't "exist" in their system and would need to have someone install cable lines--which would cost too much in our opinion. For awhile, my daughter had access to all of the comcast channels through this previously installed free cable line but since the cable has gone digital she has lost all except for channels 2-26. We want to get a digital cable box but when we called comcast they told us again that we weren't on their "grid" and our address didn't "exist". Are there any stores which sell these digital boxes or is it only available through comcast--our local cable company? And out of curiosity, how can our address "not exist" in their systems when someone who lived here previously had hooked up free cable to our residence?

So I like this girl and we've been best friends, I text her or she texts me after school all the time. So over the labor day weekend we wanted to hang out and so we went to an amusement park. So I would bump in to her intentionally, an she would hit me lightly if I would say something she didn't like. So when it came to an end and we got in the car she put her hand back so i could hand her her card, and so I handed it to the wrong hand, and so I grabbed her other hand and held it, and she held my hand back too. But we were just friends and so im really confused and we lat-or talked about it and she said she was confused too. She said she had no negative feelings nor did I. Its just really confusing on what to do next. should I go farther? or what.

Hi well from the title i have PCOS, i never had periods maybe 1 a year if that etc... i had a bleed of 6 weeks doctor couldn't rule out a miscarriage some thing i will never know unfortunately :( but i have heard that pregnancy can make symptoms of PCOS calm down or disappear i was wondering if having a miscarriage can have the same effect? about 27 - 31 days after i stopped bleeding i am bleeding again... and im assuming this is just a normal AF unless it carry's on for weeks. thank you for any information you can give me it will be very appreciated! x x

We have mice in our garage. It's old and they get in and we've tried everything imaginable and they just keep coming back. I could put a pet door on the side entrance and of course I would feed it everyday. I just can't have a cat in our house because of a family members allergy. And my 2 large dogs. I see ads all the time in our newspaper that needs homes for cats. They say 'good mousers' in the ads. Thoughts? I've never owned a cat before.

Caleb James and Joshua Dax. The reason I say this is because in the bible story (my favorite one, by the way), Caleb and Joshua are heroes in the same story. Is that too "matchy"? They really weren't meant to match in the beginning, my wife and I just really liked the names. We were thinking of possibly calling Joshua "Dax" instead of "Josh", because Joshua is after my brother and then I'd have a brother and a son named Josh. We considered Dax Joshua, but came to the conclusion that Joshua Dax sounds so much better. What do you think? Are Caleb and Joshua too matchy? Should we call Joshua 'Dax' instead of Joshua/Josh? I am interested in this lifestyle. I dont always feel the best in clothes. People stress modesty so much in this world, and I believe that us human beings should get used to each other's bodies instead of separating or hiding it. OK, I'm looking to upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate from Windows Vista. Well, I was looking around at prices and I saw that there is a Windows 7 Upgrade or Just Windows 7. Now, if I want to upgrade to Windows Vista do I just buy the " Windows 7 Upgrade " or do I need to buy the, more expensive, " Windows 7". I wasn't sure if the upgrade applies to older operating systems like Vista, or if it applies just to earlier versions of Windows 7.

I know someone who's like always wants to be thin. And it makes me wonder if all girls are obsessed with being skinny. Now Izm admitting that I'm not skinny at all! I'M 5'3 and 155 but im not chubby. I've joined a few sites where you create or upload things for people to see. Such sites would be Scratch, a game-making site. Or DeviantART, where I would write stories or make pictures. And I always got a sense of enjoyment whenever somebody commented, or reviewed, or liked my work. Mainly games, stories, pictures, articles, etc. Anyone know a good career in that? Hi my partner and I have been together for 12 years and up until 2 years ago it was a carefree relationship spent enjoying weekends and holidays together. 2 years ago my partner started a career in the police force and I gave birth to our first child, it's been a difficult 2 years as he's been training and working hard learning meanwhile I've been working and looking after our little boy, well now our second baby is due any time now and I'm worried about our future, he was supposed to be home at 3pm its now 11pm hes not back and he starts work again 7am and is on nights all weekend I feel like he's never here. I don't like it and resent it, I also hear stories about the police the usual everyone ends up sleeping with each other. Can anyone give me experience or advice good and bad on this situation can it work a young family with a virtually non existent father? I love him and my family so much but I feel alone all the time I don't have family around me so I feel when the baby comes it's going to be me a toddler and a newborn It's not going to be a walk in the park, anyone been or going through this? I am currently 17 and wish to either rent a flat or just a bedsit, I am having issues with both of my parents and don't want to no longer live with them as I have received abuse in the past and now. It is a very long story, But as I am now living at mothers I think I may be suffering from PTSD therefore I can not be around her or stay. As I've said before I cannot go to my fathers either, so my only alternative now is to move out on my own. The only problem is that I'm not sure if I'll be able to since I'm 17, so my main question is, do I need a "guarantor" and is that a requirement or are there any other way I could possibly move out without one?

i bought pregnancy test this morning and did them 3 hours ago, my last period was august 20th, so that was 17 days ago, i tested positive with 2 pee on a stick test...popped up 2 pink lines in 2 minutes..im so shocked! isn't that to early? my mum recons it could have been implantation bleeding? my period before that was 17th july...so id be 7 weeks if that wasn't a period? im happy that im pregnant

My girl cat is about 9 years old and she has never done this before! It started last year, she started doing little poops on my living room carpet. It looks like normal poo. And she has recently started peeing on my bed! My dad said it might have been territorial reasons because I have 2 other cats and one of them sleeps in my bed sometimes... so she might be marking her territory but she did it 2 other times! Should I take her to the vet or something because im scared she is sick or something! how do i know if she has a problem? And she uses the litter box as well and its always clean. please please help!

I use the pill for contraception. But in the past week and a half or so I've been experiencing pretty much every early sign of pregnancy: nausea, fatigue, dizziness, cramps, swollen & tender breasts, enlarged & sensitive nipples, bloating, frequent urinating, heart burn, constipation, change in appetite, heightened smell...just all those little things. I ran my pill over last month and so skipped my period (something I have done before with no consequences). Therefore I haven't been able to see whether I missed my period...I finished my pill packet several days ago and my period has not yet arrived. How likely do you think it is that these symptoms are a result of the pill, or pregnancy? (the pill I am on is 99% effective)

I asked this earlier but left out a couple details: Your long distance bf thought about changing plans with you on the only weekend he's guaranteed off in 3 months? We used to only see each other on weekends any way and he has always been kinda flaky with plans. I cant make future plans with him because he rarely, if ever, sticks to them. Partially due to his schedule, partially bc he isnt totally dependable. It takes me getting to the point of frustration for him to follow through with his plans. I love him so much, and he loves me... but yesterday I just couldnt do it anymore. His new schedule has us seeing each other MAYBE a day or two every three weeks and even then he cant promise anything. The only weekend in this 3 months period he was guaranteed off, he told me he would spend it with me. So I get all excited, as usual, thinking I get to see him... then I get a text asking how I would feel if he took this coach up on an offer to drive the college volleyball team out of state which would take up the whole weekend. I was hurt he didnt think to spend it with me considering we have ZERO time together. After 9 months of not being able to make plans with him, I broke it off. Now Im wondering if I made the wrong decision. I should also add that I'm a single mom so dependability is important to me. He texts me all day, I talk to him a little all night but nothing compares to actually being together and I feel like he doesnt value that. Its hard to let go because he would do nice things for me too like tell me he loves me all the time, bought me tires, etc. But he also had a history of cheating before he met me and although he changed a lot when we met, it still is in the back of my head. He's not a teenager... he is 25 and a college graduate.

My Uncle told me of an event years ago. His son's wife died. They were legally married, etc. My Uncle and his son were confused to find out that alot of legal fees were going to be needed to get the house into the husband's name. The amount was close to $10,000 in legal fees. I hired a lawyer once and it was $225 an hour. For the math, let's use $250 an hour and $9,000 total. That would be 36 hours of legal fees for a house when the wife died. That's alot of hours over a deed when: 1. they were married when they bought the house 2. and married when she died 3. and then there is "right of survivorship."
