Re: NBR Best way to run back from randall's island?

great run back from icahn stadium. great view from atop the triboro.

the race was horrible. i lost that racing edge since my last race 2
months ago. i ran 17:08 for 5k. i have a ton of base though, so i'm
confident with more racing and starting to do speedwork will get me
going again. if anyone else is looking to make a splash at team champs
on Aug 6 and also hasn't been racing, don't wait too long. get in
there now. these next 2 months: get sharp. get tough. i suggest racing
every other week, so that you don't miss training. if you race every
wknd, you miss valuable training due to tapering, missed long runs,
less intense speed workouts. racing every other week allows you to
train hard on the non-race week, while going easier on the race week.
