I have a friend who invited me on a "free" vacation. I bought my plane ticket, etc... but the vacation itself was free because my friend was going to teach fitness at the resort we were set to visit. I took the time off work, made childcare arrangements for my children, etc... then, a couple weeks before we were set to leave she wrote me an email and canceled the trip. She claimed that she felt like it wasn't a good time for her to travel because she didn't want to leave her dog and teenage daughter. Mind you, she invited me to go at this particular date to start with. I explained that I couldn't get a refund on the airfare, get my vacation time back, or afford to take the trip on my own. She became angry and hung up on me. We didn't speak for weeks, then she wrote me an apology letter and said she wanted to start the friendship from scratch. She has since scheduled the trip for next year with a different friend. I asked if I could accompany and she says she wants to think about it. Our friendship is different and she is very distant with me. I don't know if it's something I did? She's friendly, but it's not the same. Perhaps it's best if I end the friendship all together...?

Okay, here's the situation: I am 22 years old, this waitress at this diner is 25 years old and is single. There is this diner I have been going to about twice a week over the last couple of months. At this diner, there is this beautiful waitress that I always talk to. We have a lot of similar interests. We always have small, pleasant conversations about music, sports, politics, etc. Whenever we talk, she always looks directly into my eyes and sometimes touches my arm and hand. I finally worked up the courage to ask her out on Thursday evening, and she agreed to get coffee with me sometime. This is how the conversation went: Me: "I was thinking, would you want to get a cup of coffee outside of work sometime?" Girl: Immediately responds" Yeah, sure! Where do you want to go?" Me: "How about Joe's Coffee shop on the corner over there?" Girl: "Yeah, that sounds good" Me: "When do you want to go?" Girl: "Hmmmmmm, let me think..........I have to figure out my work schedule..." Me: "How about I give you my number and you call me when you know your schedule" Girl: "Yeah, write your number down and give it to me" Me: "Alright, sounds good" I asked her out Thursday evening, and it is now Sunday evening and she still hasn't called. It's been 72 hours. I don't think she lost my number, because she is friends with my roommate, and if she did lose my number, she could easily ask my roommate for it. And keep in mind, I do not have her number so I cannot call her. That is not an option. Why hasn't she called yet? Should I just give up or remain hopeful? What are your thoughts? And she didn't work today, it it's not like she was busy today. Also, if she said "yes" to be nice and not turn me down to my face and never intended to call me; why would she ask me where I wanted to go for coffee? I don't think she would have asked that if she never intended to call me. I can't imagine she would blow me off and not call me like she said because she knows I go to this diner all the time, and it would create an awkward situation if she did blow me off and not call me like she said she would. What say you?

I am a 16 year old female and i weigh around 106lbs and i am about 5ft 7 in height and i eat normally breakfast: crunchy nut cereal, lunch: ham salad baguette and a strawberry milkshake and for tea: chicken dippers and chips and snacks: strawberries and icecream, hot chocolate btw this isnt everyday just an example of a day. I got as a gift from my dad on my Steam account and downloaded it. My computer fits all the requirements of the game as well. I can get the Oblivion meny up but when I click "play" I get two pop-ups, one a small black window at the top which says Oblivion at the top and another pop-up which says "oblivion has stopped working" and my options are "check for a solution and close the program" and "close the program". I've clicked both. I've tried it on windowed mode and full screen mode, and have tried rebooting my computer. Anybody with smililar problems, how did you fix it? Thank you ^.^

My problem is that I've been using unlimited texting on iPhone to communicate with friends on AIM and recently, I haven't been able to send/receive any msgs from people on AIM. Okay so I got an email from this guy via an online dating website. He seemed really nice and we had a lot in common so we emailed back and forth and after a while we started chatting via the site's instant messaging service. He was great. Funny, interesting, personable and we seemed to really hit it off so I gave him my phone number. At the time he was out of state helping to care for a sick relative and he would call me every evening and we'd talk for hours. He said it seemed so easy to talk to me and he really looked forward to coming home and meeting me in person. Finally he made it home and we scheduled a date for last thursday while his daughter was at school A nice daytime date that was kind of informal. We met for coffee and talked for several hours and then he invited me back to his house. We watched a movie at his place and we even kissed a bit, which was really nice. We seemed to have great chemistry. I texted him the next day saying that I had a great time but I haven't heard from him since our date. This guy is a single dad who hasn't seen his daughter in a few weeks since he's been away and now he has her for the weekend and I can understand not wanting to waste his time with her while he's got her but couldn't he have texted or something? I finally called him today just to say what's up, how was your weekend etc and he was kind of short with me. He said he was about to have dinner and no he couldn't call me later he was going to go to the movies with his daughter and maybe he'd call tomorrow. It is sad times when you watch a well known film only for anything deemed as violent like stabbing or blood is edited out of the film. Like Kill Bill when the film is turned black and white to hide the blood and now recently Pirates of the Caribbean has been edited to show no violence toward another person IE stabbing!! It is pathetic, films do not make bad people the lack of upbringing is the cause both my sister and I where tough that films are not real and you should not copy anything from films and we turned out fine and even then it will do nothing what so ever to turn the behaviour that is so common in young people. It ruins the film and it is not good viewing for us sensible adults, yet again crime is winning over the decent citizen!!
