we have been together for 9 years we have a 4 year old daughter together he stays at mine once a week he has his daughter every saturday night, i moved near his home town so we could be together lived there for 3 years then i decided the relationship wasn't going anywhere so i moved back to my home town we split up for 6 month got back together after he promised he will change and we would get a place together but here i am a year on still living as a single parent while he goes home to his mum, lately i have been thinking it would be better to just go our separate ways as i really don't think he has any intention of moving in with me, he is 41 years old if he hasn't moved out yet maybe he never will, what do you think?

All I hear is that the Clintons are thieves and liars, etc...I remember the Clinton years as wonderful with positive change happening until the Repubs got so hung up on who he had sex with. Maybe if they were not wasting his time in court with a sex scandal he could have spent his final days in office actually doing his job, and yes, maybe he would have captued Osama. How sad that a sex scandal was more important to so many than the job of running the country.

my boyfriend and i spent most of friday together. it was one of the better days of our relationship, if you know what i mean. anyway, he decided to ditch me "for a few hours" and hang out with his friends. he said he would call when he wanted me to pick him back up, which would've been a few hours later. i wasn't happy, but i agreed. well, a few hours passed, nothing from him. i called his friends phone, because he doesn't have one, and he said he was going to spend the night there. it sounded like a party was going on in the background too. but anyway, he said he would wake up early, around 9 and i'd pick him up then and we'd spend the day together.. 9 am rolled around, nothing from him. we usually text, through his gmail, so i texted him asking if he was awake yet. nothing. now, the night before, he told me to not be sad that he was ditching me, that i should look forward to seeing him in a few hours. so around 11 am, i sent him a text saying i guess you don't look forward to seeing me, you can't even wake up for me after you ditched me. and still nothing. so at this point i'm fuming mad, upset, ect ect. i text him again saying that i can't be with him anymore, i love you, i don't wanna do this, you made me leave, and if you cared at all you'd fight to be with me, now, there's a whole lot more to the story... about 6 weeks ago he told me he wasn't in love with me but he loved me and i'm the only thing that he loves. he's a very manipulative person and i know it would've been smart of me to leave right then, but he has a way with me, he knows how to control me. he says i love you everyday to me, like a man in love would say i love you, but he said he isn't in love with me. and i cave everytime because he knows exactly how to play me. i asked him to marry me a few weeks ago, he didn't give a clear answer but he was very sweet to me for days, almost like it was a yes without saying a yes. not good enough for me, so i straight up asked him yes or no. he says i don't know, i have bigger problems atm. he got fired, he has no money, no car, and he lives in a dumpy house in detroit which he's about to get kicked out of. i offered him 200 dollars to pay this months rent, but the catch was that he NEEDED to get a job and pay me back. he agreed. i basically own him now, it's either homelessness or my money and he knows this too. anyway, back to the story. i still recieve nothing from him, not even a f*** you give me back my things. i'm pretty panicked. i love him so much, i couldn't even believe that i did this. i know i can't live without him, seriously, i'm that much in love that he is my life and if he isn't in it, it's worth dying over. so, i tried hurting myself in several ways last night. i texted him again and told him all the things that i did to myself. i was seriously messed up last night on a whole nother level. i just slept, hoping i'd wake up dead, but i woke up at 6 am alive and pissed. and i still have not recieved a single word from him. so what now?

I have an 2.1 honours degree in Psychology, and am trying to think what the next step is for me. I graduated last year and took a year out to work in TEFL for a while. Now I want to get my Masters. I am interested in doing a Masters Degree in 'Neuroimaging for Research', but am still a bit confused as to what path this will take my future career on. I'm at a loss with my life right now and every aspect within it: career, place to live, love... I just don't know what to do. I have a job - it's not bad pay but I have to travel to get there. I used to have my own place just a few miles from where I work and a fiance who lived with me, but those days are gone. I'm 28 and living with my parents with no girlfriend, no real friends, and no women that are interested. It doesn't help that I live in the middle of nowhere and no real place to go to meet women - not that I'd get the courage to approach women anyway out in public. So, after a year of online dating I still have no girlfriend or even any women that are interested in me. I've had the occassional "big" girl interested, which I find very unattractive, but even then sometimes that type of woman isn't even interested. I have a bachelors degree in political science but I've looked online and there really doesn't seem to be any hope for me there either... I'm sick of putting in all this effort to improve my life and get nowhere. I really don't know what to do next... I wish there were a psychic that I could talk to that was legit or something, I'm that desperate at this point and I could really use some help or at least some very good advice. Thanks.

Simply put: I need to quit my job for 2 months while I take care of my pending studies and work towards graduating by the end of this semester. I've been working as a journalist for 8 months now. This is my first "real job" and I'm happy about it. My editor loves my work as well, he rated me 95 out of 100 at my performance assessment. I've struggled a few years to find a job, so I was very pleased when I got hired here. It's not a perfect job though... the pay's pretty meagre, and I'm thinking that I'll be growing out of the job pretty soon because I'm capable of so much more (i.e. writing more important articles for a bigger audience). But that aside, I'd really like to stay here for awhile so I can get my name out there and build a network. Whenever I think the company regulations are being unfair to me (e.g. I write for other publications within the group and don't get paid extra for it) I try to tell myself that I'm getting myself trained for bigger responsibilities, and when I graduate this company will lose me to another one that gives me what I deserve. I started this job when I was just beginning my senior year at college. In my country, by the fourth year of college a student is usually done with classes and only preoccupied with writing a final research report for the graduation defense. I have about 3-4 months left for college, and over the past half semester I haven't been doing very well in dividing my time between work and research. Somehow work always ends up taking more time than I originally planned, and by the time I'm finished I've become too tired to take care of my research. Worse yet, I live with my parents, who are currently separating, so a lot of my time is also taken up by parents who need to vent and know that their daughter still cares. So I think, if there's any way my research will ever get done, I'll just have to do it full time. It's only gonna take 2 months or so. How should I tell my boss this? Am I better off asking if I can have my job back after 2 months, or resigning and finding a better offer elsewhere? And since by the time I return (if that will be the case) I would already have a bachelor's degree, can I use that to negotiate for a raise and/or promotion?

My friend (she says I am her best friend) constantly calls me a prude because I don't wear low cut shirts like she does. (I have big boobs and I used to dress pretty revealing and I always got a lot of attention that I didn't want, so I stopped dressing that way. Plus, a lot of people would say I looked "trashy" if I wore something low-cut. I'm so envious of girls with smaller boobs because they always look classy; no one ever calls them trashy for wearing something low cut) My friend also recently said that she hopes her daughter won't turn into a s l u t one day because she might have "daddy issues" (Her ex, the father, used to hit her even when she was pregnant with her now daughter.) Me and this guy aren't dating yet, but we like each other. Recently, his behavior with me kinda changed, he claims its because he has been really busy. He pursued me and went after me. Since he has started acting weird, I have asked him a couple of times if he still likes me and he claims that he still does. I have asked him many times if he still likes me and I have given him plenty of opportunities to back out if he wanted but he hasn't taken a single one of them. I have heard the saying that a drunk mans words are a sober man's thoughts and many people have told me is that when a guy is drunk that is when you can find out if he really likes you. Well, saturday night this guy was drunk and texted me and said baby, I'm hammered and I like you, you're cute I wish i could be with you and tickle you. However, today we had math together and chem right after. We always walk from math to chem. Our math and chem classes are the two farthest buildings apart on campus and I walk a lot slower than him because I am a lot shorter than him. Today we were in math and he texted me and said, I'm going to walk alone to chem okay? and I was taken aback by this statement and I just said um ok your acting weird and he said Its just that everytime I walk with you im late and I hate being late, so I said, you have been acting wierd with me... just tell me whats up, and he said, nothing really, to which I said, Well ok so u just don't like me anymore then... right? and he said, We've talked about this plenty of times, and I'm not going to do anything to change your mind, i'm done playing games. Anyways in math he said to me ok I'll see you in chem and I said ok and smiled. When I got to chem I sat somewhere else and he never texted me to see where I was and I don't even think he looked back at all to try and find me. I am really confused, why is he acting this way? Why does he say he likes me, but then acts like he doesn't? i plan on not texting him at all this week.

i have two female cats, about five years old, "fixed," and they recently started caterwauling. i have no idea how to stop it! i put them in the furnace room in the basement, which is a relatively large and dry room, with a little light so they can see, and some food and water and litter boxes for them. they have toys down there, too, so it's a nice little room for them. but every night at 4-6am they start caterwauling. i need to stop it! no one in my house can sleep well! and we tried letting them have the entire basement which is when we found out one of them bangs on the door to get us to open it. grrrrrr.

So i was eating almods the other day, and my guineas were squeaking.. I just tried givign them one and they ate the whole thing.. and whenever i seem to open the box full of almonds, they notice it is the almonds and they wont let me eat.. -.- But im scared if it has any side effects.. Does the way muslims pray please God? MORE INFORMATION- Muslim Prayer- Muslims pray at certain times of the day, in a certain body position, facing in a certain direction, and repeating the same words over and over. They believe that this pleases God. The ritual demands many observances such as the way the muslim is dressed, ritual washing, being sure of the exact time of day, and many other things. Prayers of Other Religions- Most every pagan religion teaches that their god is impressed by certain rituals- body position, the way the body is facing, and the certain words that are repeated. They believe that this pleases God. THE PRAYER THAT GOD WANTS- God wants to be our friend. God called the Prophet Abraham His friend. How do you get to be somebody's friend? You spend time with him and talk to him. Nothing could be more simple, but unfortunately religion confuses the matter. As we shall see, religion is the enemy of prayer. God doesn't want constant repetition in prayer. If I repeated the same words to someone every day, I would have a pretty shallow relationship with him. He wouldn't see me as much of a friend. But if I spent hours each day talking to someone about the most important things of my life, then he would see me as a close companion. This is the kind of relationship that God wants with us. God never asked us to repeat the same words day in and day out. Such ritual is useless to Him. God does not listen to it. God doesn't care which way your body is facing when you pray. Why face Mecca when you pray? What is there? In Mecca there is a meteorite that the pagans started worshiping centuries before Mohammed. Perhaps they saw it fall from the sky. In any case they thought that it was a magical rock and a god, so they started making pilgrimages to Mecca to worship it. Muslims today worship the same pagan idol when they kiss it. When they cannot be with their magic rock god, then they pray facing it five times a day. Almighty GOD is not a rock in Mecca. Honoring an idol dishonors the true God. God doesn't care about your posture when you pray. You can pray kneeling, standing, or lying in your bed. The prophets Abraham, Moses, and Jesus often prayed standing up with their eyes looking toward heaven and their hands raised. The psalmists prayed lying in their beds. The devil wants you to think that you can only pray when kneeling. Kneeling is not always possible, so the devil's commandment about kneeling prohibits prayer. Meanwhile God tells us to pray without ceasing. God wants heartfelt prayer throughout each day. You can pray at school while you are learning. You can pray at work while you are working. You can pray in private and you can pray in public. You can pray while driving your car. In every situation you can pray and God wants you to pray. Don't wait until you can kneel. God will tell you in your heart to pray. Listen to God and do what He says. Pray without ceasing. Yesterday a muslim told me, "I pray 5 times a day and wake up in the middle of the night to pray extra, while you pray only once a week, so who is more of a sinner you or me?" She does not realize that her prayer life is woefully inadequate. There are thousands of opportunities for prayer each day, not a mere five. God doesn't care about endless rituals. The prayer rituals of islam and other religion is almost endless. You must dress a certain way, wash a certain way, know the exact time, and the list goes on and on. This kind of thing is invented by the devil. It has no value to God. All it can do is hinder you. A muslim laborer thinks he can't pray because he accidentally got dust on his shirt. The filth God sees is not the dirt on your shirt, but the immoral condition of your heart. We are all sinners. God sees every sin, and yet He loves us anyway. He wants to have a real relationship with you, not a ritualistic one. Jesus taught that God is your Abba, or Dad. Today you can leave false religion behind and begin a real relationship with God. Nothing would please Him more.
