[ Higher Education (University +) ] Open Question : Master's in Library and Informational Sciences?

I am a senior in college majoring in human development. I started off as a Freshman pre-law, but decided I did not have a career in law, so I changed my major to biology and it really dropped my GPA. My junior year I changed my major to human development and my GPA has gotten so much better. I have a 2.99 and I am still taking classes over from BIO to change my GPA. I would really like to get a master's in Library and Informational. I am very involved. I am a volunteer at the Local Boys and Girls Club, Food Bank and Girls Scout Volunteer. I am president of my sorority and another organization. I have gotten many community awards. I have always worked and am currently serving as a intern at my schools arvhives department and the State of Missouri Historical Society. What are my chances? I plan on taking the GRE in August. Are there schools that will take me?

Well, i always feel like i am being watched by something. Then I started thinking that on my computer i visited sites i have never gone to... What's that called?? I like to play games on FB but the feeds are killing me. I can't even see the things I want to. Besides seeing who likes who, who needs what, and posts for everything I don't play it is getting ridiculous. Is there a way to stop the feeds besides blocking everything? That doesn't even seem to work.

So today, after posting asking for a critique on a different site, I received a pretty negative comment. After reading it, I felt kind of deflated. The guy was pretty harsh (I'm not saying I don't deserve harsh criticism, because I know I do) and kind of left me feeling doubting all the things I *thought* I was good at. According to him, I have 'atrocious grammar' have 'weird and made up character names' and should 'stick with writing short stories'. At what point do you say to yourself, 'okay, this guy knows what he's talking about, I really should stick with writing short stories and improving my grammar' and at what point do you say 'this guy really has know idea what he's talking about'? At first I thought the guy was trolling or something when he critiqued it, because all the things he sai was the worst other people commented as being my strong points. The guy seemed like he was trying to be nice, but couldn't find anything to be nice about. This guy has left me feeling pretty shot. I generally take critique pretty well, but I've never really received a critique like this. What do I do now?

I've no idea what to do; I've had sex once in my life, and I regretted right after; it was 3 weeks ago, I literally just took a pregnancy test and it says I'm pregnant. My Dad is downstairs and I really can't tell him, I feel so ashamed of myself for this. This sounds stupid but I'm 15, I feel like a kid, I can't believe I'm pregnant. I've no idea what to do here. Everyone's going to think I'm a huge slut, I honestly only had sex once. I've always been completely against abortion and I could never ever do that. Hey! I'm in a pretty rubbish English set at school. I got put in there so I could be a good example for the less able students in my year (no child left behind... blah blah). However, I am much more capable of the work than they are. My teacher has realized that it's starting to hold me back so he is moving me up in sets soon. However, yesterday he asked me if I would sit next to this kid and rub off my excellence to him so I can help him achieve. I declined because this boy is really strange (he makes noises and says CHEDDAR about a hundred times per lesson). I knew that I wouldn't be able to get my own work done near him. However, when I was leaving school, I was just thinking about it and I realized that the whole point I was put into that set was to help others. I feel bad not helping this kid but it's either my own education or his. Was I right to decline the offer from my teacher?

okay so my dad bought me a phone and when i had a massive argument with him, he decided to ring orange and tell them that the phone was stolen,so that i could no longer use it and the sim card is blocked!!! what can i do??????? because when he bought me the phone (blackberry 9300) i did not get a new sim card, i kept my old one which i have had for roughly 2 years so surely orange should not have blocked this as my dad did not even buy this for me, it was mine!?!??! when ever i send a text it says 'operator determined barring' pleasee helppppppppppppppppppp

I'm an A-B honor roll student, have been all year except for one quarter when I got a C. At finals, I passed all three. I got a 4 in math and science (the highest you can get), and a 3 in reading (above average for the state, county, and school). I haven't gotten detention, I haven't gotten suspended, haven't even been to the principal's office. Thing is I've missed 17 days of school. I had a truancy meeting about 2 or 3 months ago, and they said as long as I didn't miss anymore unexcused, then I would be fine. Last week I had to come home early because I went to the nurse and had a fever of 100ºF. Today I got a letter in the mail from my school saying that if I didn't go to summer school then I would be held back. My sister's coming down the days that I'm supposed to be going to summer school, and I haven't seen her in four or five months. My question is, can the school really hold me back for this? Even after all the effort I've put towards my grades and discipline?

I am planning on going to Wasaga for a weekend after prom. I just want a room that would accomodate my boyfriend and I, nothing fancy. Our budget only allows us to pay about $80 per night for the two nights. We do not have access to a credit card and therefore can't make a reservation, so we are looking for options in case there are no available rooms in the motel that we already found. When we contacted this motel, they said that since we do not have a credit cart, we can make a $100 deposit, which is fine. I just hope other motels would let us do that. I have been looking long and hard all over the internet, but all of the motels listed are just too pricy. If you know of any motels that fit my description, please help me out, cause I really need to keep my options open. :] P.S: The motel that we already contacted is King's Bridge Inn.

I have winRAR. I go to xmsims. I download the hair mesh. Then I download the color. Both of them are opened up with winRAR. (I've also tried the saving version, where I save to desktop and extract to Downloads folder.) From winRAR, I've done a variety of things. I've moved the files to the C:\Users\ME\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads I've extracted the files to there. ^ etc., etc. However, my custom content won't show up! I have the following packages-- Double Deluxe Fun With Pets (the one I run) Nightlife Store Edition Mansion & Garden Stuff Celebration! Okay so me and my ex were dating for about 11 months.. We broke up 3 times between those times for breaks and to get out feelings straight, but then the last 4 months I fell completely in love with him. He dumped me for this girl, then dumped that girl for another girl. He is now dating Madi. (his name is jake) and he asked for a hug on the last day of school. I was like uh? You have a gf? But he really wanted one but i refused because of their relationship. Even though I still love him I resepct there relationship. He flirts with me non stop in class. He will steal my stuff and I will try to get them and I will end up wrapping my arms around him to try to get it. And I asked him if that was going to far(bc i thought it was so i stopped) but he said he liked it and he didn't mind. Also he has a 6-pack and he wants me to toucch it and stuff, also he's really sweet and says i look beautiful today and stuff. Well when the bell rang and school was out(last day of school) he ran over to me and said "Dont I get a hug?!" and I was like umm... no.. sorry.. and he just smiled and said "Thats ok. this guy i used to go out always looks down on poor people. yesterday,i was drunk,so my friend called him and aske him to come pick me up,but he said he was busy. so she yelled at him. then i called him and asked him why he did so,and he said my friend is from the ghetto and we had a fight and we broke up. he is kinda right about my friend cause she has bad reputation. but im still hurt cause obviously he thinks im from the ghetto too since she is my friend. he never really treated me well,but i just cant let it go. im SURE he will never call me again cause i gave him a piece of my mind too! im mad at them both. im mad at her for being a girl with a bad reputation,and im mad at him for being mean to me. please help me get over it!and tell me if im right to start fresh and dump them both?

Ok so my Dell computer completely sucks and im going to have to get a new one. So does anyone know any inexpensive computer that works well for a long time ?
