Im really freaked out about applying for hospital jobs because of what could be on my background how could i find out if it is there or not? I was with a friend in her car and we got pulled over last September there was stems of marijuana in the seat i was setting in the cop was a total jerk and took me to booking and booked me but i never went to jail but then was taking to court same day and let out on a pr bond. back in jan. went to court cop didn't show up so went back to court in march cop didn't show up and they finally dismissed the case. My slip thingy for court said that i was charged with less than 15 grams. Since it was dismissed will it still show up on a background check? I asked my l asked my lawyer and at the time all he said to me was its okay go ahead and apply for jobs!!

So my friend and I have been "Friends" for a year now (both in our mid to late 20s). Over the course of this year I have begun to want more than friendship with him but I was never clear as to whether he was interested. For months we've done date-like things couples would do (dinner/breakfast, movies at our places, run errands) - Even met his parents & my family LOVES him. Well, about 2 weeks ago, we had sex (no sex since) and I've seen him about 3-4 times since then and its been great. So finally about 2 days ago, I told him that I was interest in more than sex with him, and he essentially responded that he has felt the connection too but didn't make a move because he thought I wasn't interested. So what do I do now? I want things to ultimately progress to a relationship but I'm not sure how to get there because I'm a bit of a commitment-phobe and I don't want to come on too strong and scare him away - I'm feeling a bit self-conscious now. Thoughts?

Hi Everyone, Okay, I have known my now finance for quite a few years. We recently got engaged BUT I am wondering if I should go through with the marriage. We have had our ups and downs throughout our relationship but I think I have always hoped that things will get better. I know I can't change anyone but he said he would change certain habits which he hasn't. He is high-stressed with work and I get the brunt of it. I care about him a lot, but I am worried and I know that have started to tune out. I get so frustrated with him that I rather not talk or answer the phone. He is such a negative person and it has taken a toll on my health. At times he is so caring and then apologizes but it just seems like a cycle that keeps going on and on. I really don't want to end the relationship but i know many of you will say...why did I say yes and get engaged. I have no idea what to do. This sucks so much.

ok so im in th 10th grade and my freshmen year in the summer i got charged with some serious charges i didnt do, so they kicked me out of school and sent me to this adult school and i got 1 credit..Like a week ago they dismissed all my charges since they no i had nothing to do with it.My principle said i cant play next year since i havent been in school for a whole semester so now i cant play next year? when i already got 9 credits plus my online classes ima have 12.5..is it any way i will be able to play next year?

We are apart for the summer and although I may visit him at some point, but for now we are just texting back and forth. We took a two week break, because I couldn't really see where it was going and I wasn't sure of what he wanted, so I felt like I was putting too much emotion into the "relationship" and it was all for nothing. Well after about two weeks, we started talking again, because he started it. Now I pretty much know where it's going. He has stated his intentions (even if I had to pull it out of him...he is a guy, remember) and so all we can do all summer is text! And phone calls and write letters, I guess. And again, I probably will visit him. But sometimes when we text, he asks me questions that quite honestly I'm not comfortable with just TEXTING. If they are personal questions, I don't like sharing through a text message, and also, I want to get to know him very very well before we talk about certain things. I am a very reserved person and he knows that. He actually knows me very well, and sometimes I think he is testing me when he asks semi-intense questions. How can I put off these questions but keep talking to him all summer? I would open up with him and tell him things if we were together, in the fall, and I really want to open up to him! But I'm very guarded, and I want him to acknowledge and accept that. How can I do this?

I'm not particularly happy about it. I've been cold to both of them about their relationship for the past 2 months now. I'm 18 and was 17 when they separated just over a year ago so not that much time and my mum moved out so of an age to not be affected drastically but I was relieved when they separated. I wouldn't describe them as a loving marriage throughout my entire childhood I never saw them kiss and I can remember them holding hands once on a day trip. I think I missed the more loving side to their relationship them having two children before me my eldest sister being 12 years older than me. The point is their marriage was always edgy as long as I remember I was more of a daddy's girl when I was young often did a lot of things with him as he took me to my swimming lessons and things like that I always thought my mother to be the aggressive one. She always seemed angry picking fights with my dad every day about trivial things and she didn't like me to follow her around so I found my dad the more affectionate one. It's such a shift from how my relationship with my dad is now I can put down some of it down to puberty I would guess I won't let my dad touch me anymore I get extremely angry when he tries to hug me and he knows not to even try now. It's ridiculous though because I end up lying next to my mum on the couch when I'm at hers. Before my mum moved out the pass time was to ridicule my dad and put him down. Criticise his weight (he had on and off gym habits) and such. Essentially my entire family was bulling him (myself included) and I just decided I didn't like my dad. My sister got married in April and a week before the wedding my dad had arranged to move in with a girlfriend into an apartment. I never met the woman and the entire setup was bizarre to say the least. She was married and it was suggested to me her husband was abusive. Dad moved out for two days before he arrived after work with all his stuff. She had gone back to her husband. My sister got married in Vegas and it was during that time that my parents rekindled what ever the heck they had and have been all lovey ever since. I saw them kiss for the first time 3 weeks ago. I don't feel comfortable around them when they start to hug and hold and stroke each others hands. But that's a true reaction many children have to seeing their parents be affectionate to each other. 4 weeks ago they went on holiday together to Crete. But I just don't seem to be getting over my hump, I honestly believe it won't last. My dad talks about when mum moves back, but I think when that happens that's when it will go down hill. They'll see each other everyday again when in bad moods, my dad will have to drive her to work at ridiculous hours (she's a hospital nurse currently lives within walking distance) and then they'll start to revert. Speculation I consider very possible. Really I don't know what's going on. If I go to university the strange situation should be out of my hair for some time.

My dogs get 2 two hour walks a day, the first by the dog walker while everyone is out at work/school, and the second around 4/5ish when I'm home, done some work and had my tea. However, today it has rained and rained and rained, very heavily! But I don't see why my dogs shouldn't be walked and Fern have her daily gun-dog training so we went out. Yes we got SOAKED! It's funny though, as all the people I normally see on my walk, weren't out most probably because of the rain, I only saw 2 or 3 other dog walkers. I walk my dogs in all weather but hot weather, for the following reasons; 1. It's not fair on the dogs 2. the parks, fields and walking areas are always packed with people who hate dogs and think that because it's sunny they should have priority and 3. I hate hot weather! So what weather stops you from walking your dogs and why?

So I had this fwb (friends with benefits) that I see 5 times a year, for 4 days at a time, and we'd do everything a bf/gf would do. Movies, cook dinner, make breakfast for each other, cuddle, hold hands while we were sleeping, he'd rest his head on my lap while watching tv on the couch, run errands, grocery shopping, etc...We'd even buy each other birthday gifts and celebrate together. One time after sex, he asked if I was falling in love with him, and when I'd leave, he'd ask if I'd miss him. Anyway, since we were fwb's and not committed, I told him the moment I started a brief relationship with another guy - his response was "When were you ever planning on telling me this?" Then he said "We arent together, anyway" and he said I should just have fun, etc. I told my fwb that if we lived closer, it wouldve been with him. (We're a distance apart) Anyway, the other guy didnt work out, I went back to my fwb - but he was different and distant, and he'd find ways to insult me or be mean to me. The last time I hung out with him, he insulted me to the point of tears. I walked out on him, he followed me to the car and apologized and said he didn't mean anything, that he was just teasing and he was just giving me a hard time. He texted me twice to apologize, and the next day during conversation he told me that he's mean to me because he doesnt want me to like him and he said he's afraid I want more out of the relationship and that he was only monogamous to me because he hasnt found the right girl yet. Do you think this valid? Do you think he's insulting me because he doesnt want me to like him (but, why still call and want to hang out?) Or is it something else that's bothering him?

I have nothing against hip-hop, pop, rap (I love Eminem) or Screamo death metal. It's just that I've gotten sick of listening to 16 year old guys with unbroken voices go "Baby, baby, baby" over the radio. That goes for MEANINGLESS hip hop songs too (oh, yes, there are plenty of those). I just want some straightforward, meaningful rock songs. Something along the lines of Never too Late by 3DG or Somewhere Out There by OLP or Love Hurts by Incubus. I'm a drummer looking to start a band and I need some inspiration. Songs with good guitar is good too, like Alter Bridge's "Blackbird" or songs by Chevelle. Make sure not to suggest songs that I've mentioned cuz I already have them. I've been with my boyfriend for almost a year now, and we are talking about getting "married". I say "married" because we want to have the wedding, but not get legally married. We've both been married before, and don't want that hassle. Anyway, I am looking to have a slightly casual beach wedding. I will be in a white cotton maxi dress and white flip flops. I have garden gate half way back with vertical slats on the right of a painting the rest of the fence does not show. I want to put garden bench on the left.
