FSA Seeks Customer Input on Acreage and Crop Reporting Streamlining Initiative

FSA is requesting input from customers to help improve services and reduce duplication of effort, including duplication in the collection of information. The Acreage and Crop Reporting Streamlining Initiative (ACRSI) is an attempt to simplify and standardize acreage reporting processes, program dates and data definitions across various USDA agencies within existing legislative authority. See the Proposed Rules.

File name should always be in lowercase

Public input about the information collection approval will be accepted for a comment period ending on September 19, 2011. Additionally, customers may participate in the continuing discussion about this initiative on the USDA Open Government web site at http://www.usda.gov/open.

We encourage all customers to participate and to give careful thought to those matters for which standardization is appropriate and those for which standardization is not appropriate.
