I've had my learner's permit since late August 2010, but have always driven to the same places near my house. I signed up for driving lessons and my instructor took me out to unfamiliar roads/ places, so I was a little nervous. As I was driving, I noticed the car behind me was on my tail. I approached a stoplight and wanted to turn left. So, I got into the turning lane, but my back end was sticking into the next lane a bit. My instructor helped me fix this and the car behind me started beeping repeatedly and pulled up beside me. My instructor pulled down his window and so did the guy (probably in his late 20's) in the car. The guy in the car shouted, "Learn how to f***ing drive, Moron!" "F***ing (Name of company) Driving school!" He also gave me the finger. My instructor shouted back, "She IS learning, Moron!" Keep in mind I WAS IN A CLEARLY LABELED "DRIVING STUDENT" VEHICLE! Am I the only one who is completely disgusted by this? While there is no excuse for such behavior, I could somewhat understand if I was in a regular car, but MY CAR WAS LABELED. Are people really that inconsiderate/rude/ignorant? I would NEVER do that to anyone, especially someone who is new to driving! What do you think? Thanks for your help! I AM 17 YEARS OLD (if that makes any difference...)

I have been trying to solve this for the past 2 days and our professor said tough luck when I asked her for help, even though I showed her the work I did and told me economics is not for me, which was very rude. :( Question: Suppose that the (inverse) market demand curve for a new drug, Adipose-Off, designed to painlessly reduce body fat, is represented by the equation P=100-2Q, where P is the price in dollars per dose and Q is the annual output. (The marginal revenue curve is thus given by the equation MR=100-4Q.) Suppose also that there is a single supplier of the drug who faces a marginal cost, as well as average cost, of producing the drug, equal to a constant $20 per dose. Question: (1)Suppose that the government levies an excise tax of $5 per dose on the monopolist. (a)What would happen to the monopolist's profit-maximizing output and price? Calculate the new output and price, please. (b)What would happen to consumer and producer surplus? Calculate the changes, please. (c)How much money would the government collect due to the tax? (d)What would be the size of the resulting deadweight loss (with tax) relative to the competitive outcome? My attempt at a solution: monopolist profit maximizing output and price is where marginal revenue equals marginal cost 20 = 100- 4Q -80 = -4Q 20 = Q P= 100 -2 (20) P= 100 - 40 P = $60 So output is 20 and price is 60 in a monopoly. Consumer surplus is 400 (1/2 x 40 x 20) and Producer surplus is 600 (1/2 x 60 x 20) = total surplus of 1000 In a competitive market, price equals marginal cost 20 = 100- 2Q -80 = -2Q 40 = Q So in the competitive market output is 40 and price is $20 Consumer surplus is 1600 (1/2 x 80 x 40) and producer surplus is 400 (1/2 x 20 x 40) = total surplus of 2000 So the deadweight loss would be 1000 (2000 - 1000) I understand that an excise tax would increase the MC for the monopoly which would cause the Monopoly to raise its price and lower its quantity. I have been playing skat online at DOSKV, Deutsche Online Skat Verband. When I log in, I see only one link to play for fun. for the other four links I must open an account. I suppose that DOSKV is a legitimate site if you live in Germany. But can I play for money at this site, if I live in the USA. Salam.. Its like this, since the past year or so, we have seen some strange spotting on my brothers clothes...it's like the color has been ''bleached'' from those small spots.... we have checked everything, his perfumes, hair gel, cologne, shampoo etc, but the weird spots don't make any sense... he has a separate room, and he is completely mystified as well...so the other day, my mum bought a new dark colored towel for him....he left it on his bed and did not use it...the next day he saw that there was a bleached area on that towel too...!! we have exhausted our brains trying to make sense out of it, but the only conclusions i have reached it is that could it be jinns? playing tricks on us? don't get me wrong, I am educated and completely logical and that is why I think that this can be a possibility because jinns do exist...as our religion also says they do... I swear this is not a troll...please give helpful answers and PLEASE no rude comments...

Okay so over spring break in April i went camping, well in a cabin. So I'm 14 at the time and in my freshman year in high school. I was with my mom and we had neighbors in the cabin next to us. Well in the cabin next to us we had the fist mother named Sarah (not using real names) who had 2 sons 1 was a year younger than me an the other was like 8) and 1 daughter. There was another mother named Ellen who had a daughter that was in 7th grade-her name was Molly. Well on the first full day, in the morning i saw Molly (i didn't know her at the time) she was sitting at the picnic table near her cabin, which wasn't very far away. I looked at her and she looked at me, and we did this a few times (i noticed that we kept looking at each other). Then i had to go. Later that day my mom and me found out that we had to share the fire pit with them, and they joined us that night. I didn't really talk to Molly very much but i talked to the first mother's older son a little more. Molly just seemed to be on my mind those few days. Anyways Ellen(Molly's mom) gave my mom her phone number-email and my mom gave Ellen her email. Last week i asked my mom to call Ellen so we could see them, btw they live about an hour away (isn't much since it's a close city/town). My mom looked for it and...well couldn't find it :( . I asked for her to look again over the week and she said okay. Is there anyway my mom can contact Ellen? I've found Molly on a website and i check it sometimes to remember what she looks like...and see her updates on it. It's almost been 3 months! For two weeks I've felt pressure in my vagina. I had a yellow discharge about a week and a half ago but it went away. Now my discharge is clear and I have been having a lot of it but today it look pinkish. (I felt inside my vagina to see if their was something wrong) and I had a drop of blood on my finger tip. My period is suppose to be any time now but I've had irregular periods since I've been 13 so it isn't new for me to skip a month or two & I've been having bowel problems but I think it's just constipation. I'm 18 years old and I'm still a virgin. I'm afraid it can be cancer or something. I know I have to set a doctors appointment soon but I wanting on advice to see what is happening to me? Hi i sold a 210$ phone on amazon and i shipped it and everything, and by the time it was time to deliver it the person was not there, so i immediately sent him an email saying there will be a second and third attempt etc.. By the the time it was the final attempt i received NO emails or ANYTHING not a word from the guy? I now have the phone in my house and its been like 2 weeks since it was returned to me the "seller". and still no word from the guy? I had 2 peices of toast with 1 TBS of peanut butter and a bunch of cantolope peices,lol i cut them into ittty bitty squares. I did like 2 hours of wii Then I had an apple then more wii then for lunch i had ann egg white, some spinach leaves, a few baby carrots and more cantalope,lol. Then I went walking in th hot sun for almost 2 hours. I want a snack at 3, but what should I have? I have these 100 calorie popcorn bags but idk if I should or not. I've ben trying not to eat processed foods. For supper I'm making turkey tacos which will be turkey 93% fat free black beans washed and rinsed Onions diced up With 150 tortilla wrap Multi grain. With a bike ride after that.

I've just started acting, but I need some advice. How do I act angry? My personality in general is not very emotional or expressive. I'm fairly reserved when it comes to expressing emotion. I can cry on demand, laugh genuinely without any effort, and do pretty much anything else. However. I can't act angry. Or, I can't look angry enough where you could see it from the stage. When I get mad, my emotions kind of shut down, and I become very cold. Me getting angry is me getting quiet. I have a pretty good glare, but again my facial expressions for these things aren't big enough. I've tried practicing in a mirror, but I can't quite seem to bend my face into something that looks angry. Recently for a role I had a part when I had to act angry. Luckily, it was a comedy play, and my character wasn't the brightest, so I fooled people into thinking my character was the bad actress. However, for the future, I know that won't work. Any advice on how to look and act very angry, and to express it well? thanks.

I know that chamomile is used to lighten blonde hair, but I read on one website that any other yellow-blossomed plant will have a similar effect. Is this true? Right now I have a spray bottle of homemade daffodil tea...I spritzed some on my hair and I'm about to go out in the sun, but I don't know if it will work. (I'm out of lemon juice.)

I have had several crushes on me before but I was not aware of them liking me. The first girl tbat liked me she was mean to me when she did that so I did not like her. The second one was just a little to clingy for me. I did have a crush on one girl but I was too obsessive for her so she decided to leave. How the hell do I get rid of this clown...... Ok heres this situation and it is too damn dumb to make up. I drove my nephew to his bus stop on friday and apparentlythere is a clown that shows up every friday. He comes running and screams something like "Yiddle Yiddle cream puff... I do funny stuff" Then he makes his shoes honk and runs off and jumps in his car. This is no joke and I need to know how to get rid of him. The kids think he is funny and the parents seem not to mind I guess. It plagues me and clowns freak me out. How do I get rid of this menace? Me and my mom are having an arguement about the verizon bill that shouldnt be happening in the first place.. cuz she doesnt understand how the verizon bills work.. bill period may 22 to june 21, and you have til july to pay it.. but she seems to thing that bill applies for july, even tho jul comes in aug... basically she wants more money just becuz.. but if i wanted to make payments directly to a verizon bill center, can i pay just for my portion of the bill, or is there a minimum amount that you have to pay?

I am 20 years old, and I still have an uneven chest. I know it is normal for women to have one breast larger than the other but I am looking into fixing the problem. One of my breasts is a C cup and the other is a B cup. I am 34 inches around. I have read some other people's answer for this and it sound like I have to wait until I get pregnant and hope that they even out that way.... Except I don't know if I want to have a baby. If I have children I would rather adopt if I qualify for it and can afford it. So are there certain foods I could eat, or exercises to do to get my size B breast to grow or my size C breast to shrink to a size B? Or even pills? I ain't very thrilled about taking pills to fix the problem but I will try it if nothing else works. Any Ideas?
