Okay so, I am an African-American. I have permed hair, and it is thin, especially around the edges. In a few days I will be going out to buy new hair products for my hair, 'cause the ones I am using right now don't seem to be working that much. I really want to get stronger healthier hair. My hair breaks, but I trim it a lot. I stopped flat ironing my hair for a few months, and don't plan on starting again. So, what I would like to know are a few REALLY good hair products for thinning, damaged hair. I'd also like a list of ingredients found in hair products, that ARE NOT good for your hair. I've heard about Doo Gro, Dr. Miracle, Dr. Wonder, etc. I would like to know if you've used any of these, and if you think they work or not. I'd like any, inexpensive ways to achieve healthy hair. All answers are welcomed! Thanks in advance!

I just washed my hands in hot water about 5 minutes ago, and now my fingers feel like ice. I have been inside all day and the temperature is neutral inside. Even as I type this my fingers are shivering and curling up! I tried sitting on my hands to make them warmer but when I did I could actually feel the coldness of my fingers on the back of my leg. What's more weird is that the palm of my hand is normal temperature, it starts feeling like ice as soon as it hits the fingers, what could be causing this?

One moment I feel like materialism is all that is and enjoying life to fullest is all that is , and other moment ( as per divine scriptures ) ,it says my life has a higher purpose and that is serving God and attaining peace .... This is probably a weird question but yesterday i took this pink rubber toy to the pool (heres his facebook profile if u wood like to see him ---> http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/profile.php?id=100002562906433) and now hes all sticky, i thought it was the chlorine that made him sticky so i just filled my sink with water and put him in it but that didnt work so then i used soap and water but that didnt work either? Any Suggestions??/

I've asked this in the skin/body section but maybe this vegetarian section is the best section to ask this in I've always had nice skin and never any pimples or any of that stuff and it always made me think "there's no excuse for having bad skin" when I saw people complaining about it. I thought it came from not taking care of your skin/body, but it's been three months since I've completely stopped eating all meat and the past two weeks my skin just got horrible. Maybe it's not horrible in somebody else's eyes, but if I ever got a pimple it would be on my nose or something, but I'm finding two on my lower cheek, a whole bunch next to my nose, and on my forehead are some. I don't see how being a vegetarian could make this happen but I'm not used to having all of this on my face and it's terribly hard to look at :( I use an organic vegetable soap, I drink a lot of water/green tea, drink smoothies, eat vegetables, I do get a little protein but I just like eating this way and doing this had the bonus of nice skin and now I don't know what's happening, how do I get rid of this, and what's causing it?

I'm using a 4 channel 240 watt amp in my car and was wondering what gauge wire I need to run from the battery to the amp and also what wire I size I should use as a ground. I already have a good place to put the ground and have a remote wire connected to a switch. I currently have 14 guage on everything and the amp won't stay on although it has turned on. My friend (who has installed amps and subs before) installed the wire and I was wondering is that big enough gauge or should I use an 8 gauge?

Ok.. I'll keep this short and sweet... - Have had 2 previous miscarriages, one in jan (4 weeks) one in may (5 weeks) - Got my BFP last week - Approx 5 weeks preg (possibly a little earlier as i no i ovulated late) - I have been getting brown discharge the last 4 days - No Bleeding at all - Cramps here and there but nothing painful - Have been to the hospital for bloods - Level come back at 560 - Went for more bloods today and have to wait 24 hours for results What do you think is happening here... think this sounds like it could be the end?! xx

I love acting and I am considering it as my career choice. I don't really mind what kind of acting either; plays, TV shows, movies, musicals... I just don't want to do commercials. Don't ask why but even if it would get me more experience I just don't like the idea of being a commercial actress. I guess I'm kinda scared that I will get stuck that way and I will never get to bigger things. I know that many big stars started out that way but I still don't want to. So I would like to know if it is really the only way. If not could you give me some ideas of what else I could to to build up to better jobs?

1.Some of my Word files are getting huge. I have some which are 800 pages with lots of figures, and over 32 meg in file size. Should I be worried about such large files, or Word can handle it? 2.I have recentely started copying and pasting bookmarks from other documents, but pasting them as html link so that they are inserted as OLE_LINK1, OLE_LINK2, etc. This has caused the Word files to become a lot slower. When I click on one of these bookmarks which points to a section of the current document itself, the status bar keeps flashing "Opening …" messages, and after a dozen of such messages are dispaleyd, then finally document goes to the place where the bookmark points to. Why is this happening, and is there a solution for it?

Known this girl for over a year now, few months ago asked her out and she said yes, we went out had a good time, things went abit funny after that and then she had some family tragedy and we didn't talk for a couple weeks. We started talking again, things got back to before, so i started asking her out asked about 2 times over the course of about 1 month, she said yes to each but day came and she said her gran was in hospital, said this both times. Decided the month after to ask her one last time. Again she said yes, details where made and we met up, we where going to go to the cinema but there was nothing we wanted to see so she suggest going to the park, we sat on the benches and talked, we spent around 3 and half hours together mostly in the park talking. I walked her to her bus and we hugged, she kinds came in to put her head straight over my should so i kissed her cheek, and the hug felt good, as in there was a squeeze and not an instant hug done go thing. In the time we've known each other we've never hung out in groups,don't have many mutual friends,never refer to each other or introduce each other as friends. If i stop putting xxx or xx on texts she assumes something is up with me but if i increase the x's she won't return it. If i feel crap she always asks if i want to talk. On the dates she laughs at lots of things i say, we have good eye contact, talk about lots of different things,films,our life styles, things we hate, our families, random stupid stuff. Rarely ever a silence, even if i run out of things to say she picks it up again. Only problem is she has a couple of close male friends, she pointed out that they where friends, also she mentioned her ex, by name, just once, nothing significant in the convo. Do you think she see's me as more than a friend and these are dates or just as a friend hanging out ? I've just text her saying we need to talk, should i go ahead and tell her basically this ? How feel ? Edit: Something i missed out was that the girl will know i like her, her friend ask me for my number for her but later she didn't want it but she started texting me out of the blue and it went on from there, after about 3 months after i told her i liked her, she said she was flattered but wasn't looking for anything at the time. I accepted this and was ready to move on but she kept texting me. If we stopped texting such as she didn't get my message she would always text me after a few days asking what was up or joking we hadn't spoke for years. She never just let me go and so this is how everything has built up, getting closer ect.
