i really like this guy that is in my youth group. he lives in the town over from me so i really don't see him much but we text each other pretty much all day everyday. we've been getting really close and we've been saying stuff like i love you (he said it first) and he's been saying that i'm really pretty and he's very lovey dovey with me but when i see him at youth group he doesn't say two words to me. he'll sit there and stare at me all day long but the only time he even says one word to me i have to be alone and i feel like we can't hold a conversation in person at all. how can i talk to him without it being weird?

Ok so I understand that for the month of August, the US is planned to spend around 300 billion dollars and they only have around 200 billion of revenue coming in from taxes, etc. So I understand they need to borrow more money or cut spending by a significant amound. Here are my questions. Who are we borrowing money from? and if the debt ceiling is raised who are we going to borrow money from? Who would ever borrow money to the US because it seems they will never get repaid? Also, what is the general line between what republicans and democrats want to do... is it republicans dont want to raise the debt ceiling and the democrats do? Also what is the interest rate for the money the US is borrowing that I always here about. Thanks.

I've asked this question before, but no one has given me an actual way of TELLING him the truth. so, please.. give me a way? I mean there is no easy way, but a somewhat easy way? I wasnt expecting to make anything out of me and him. but we have gotten extremely serious. When we first started talking, he was 18 and I was 15. I told him I was 17 because I didnt want him to stop talking to me because I was too young. He's now 19 and I just recently turned 16 but he thinks I turned 18. We've gotten really serious and I need to tell him i'm younger than he thinks I am.. but in a way where he wont get mad at me. Any ideas? Someone please help, anyone?

I have had this friend since middle school. We went to different high schools and our friendship just kind of changed. I stopped having fun with her because she became somewhat boring and hard to talk to. Our conversations are always forced and awkward...I don't know if she realizes this though because she's always calling me to make plans. It's like she's trying to hold on to the last morsel of our dying friendship. However, I only hang out with her because I feel obliged too. I truly don't enjoy her company. I'm sure it's mutual, so why does she insist on still making plans with me! I don't want to be mean to her and say "I can't be friends with you because you're no fun" because she's such a nice person. She's never wronged me. It's just hard to be myself around her. I feel equally fake and boring. Every time I talk to her on the phone, she sounds SO tired. I have to probe her with questions to keep the conversation going, but she only responds with one word answers. I would be much happier if we just stopped being friends. What should I do?

I really like this girl. I've known her for a while now and we have grown very close. I adore her and she adores me. She tells me just how much she misses me when we are apart and how she would like to see me. Her and I shared a slow-dance recently and it was wonderful. Nothing happened after that but I really wish I made some kind of a move. She used to show signs of liking me, like looking at me from across the room and stroking me subtly. However, she recently began a relationship with a good friend of mine. But he has been known to be a player, he had a different girl on tow at every party I ever saw him at, and she has no idea. I thought nothing of it, but now it really gets to me because I believe he doesn't know just how lucky he is. I've had other friends tell me how he kisses these girls too, but this was before he was with this girl. So I can't really hold that against him. She's now on holiday, so I pretty much have no contact with her. However when I was on holiday she told me how much she missed and wanted to see me. Once she returns I'm hoping to see her as much as possible. But this also means I also can't really say anything to her for about 10 days. Any ideas on what to do? She tells me how much she wants to see me, and she was over the moon when I made a surprise visit to her house. It also seems she wants to see me more than her boyfriend. How do manage each relationship (emotional wise?).Are they aware of it? Do you ever have doubt and if not could you provide a clear reason?. if you have open relationships, is it because you have trust, or security issues, or do you view it as no different from one person relationship? Alright well yesterday i was riding a four wheeler and i had get off it because it was about to fall into a ditch (its ok) and i didnt want to go down with it. So i fell and i hurt my back a little but no where else i felt pain. That night my neck hurts. and today my shoulder and neck hurt. It just feels very tight. Ive put ice, i message it, and i put it in hot water. The fall wasnt that bad. i dont remember hitting my neck or shoulder. Do i need to go to the doctor or should i be okay with what im doing...?

I'm getting surgery next week and have been told i have to remove the jewelry from my stretched ears (my right ear is 6mm and my left ear is 4mm) The operation last for about 3 hours but i'll be pretty drugged up after so by the time i'm conscious enough to put the jewelry back in it could be about 4/5hours. Will my stretched ears have shrunk down a size after this time :S? Please help!

I'm about to graduate college with an Aerospace Engineering degree, and I've always wanted to become a Marine. I probably would have done so sooner had my dad not talked me into going to college first. I've kept a 3.0+ GPA (I worked full time, and started my own business). I know, everybody says I should do something in aviation....yeah, yeah whatever. I want to do Intelligence (MOS 0210), or Force Recon. Considering that the 1st choice is probably the most attainable, how do I do it? Yes, I know I have to sign my life away, and make it through basic. Right now my plan is to join and go in under the Platoon Leaders Class or Join/then go to OCS. What I'm asking for is a detailed procedure to make it to becoming a Marine HUMINT Officer.

I was really jealous of my girlfriend's ex and asked her to stop talking to him, and she said she understood., but i knew she had kept talking to him. one day I was drunk and i called her and told her that she did not love me, that she still felt for him. her answer was that she could not be with him because he would no be able to be in her future ( he has cancer). She told me this was the reason he was still a part of her life. Sometimes i feel like she loves him and is only with me because she fears he might not make it. She stopped talking to him though, but two months later he is now in the hospital and while i feel horrible, she has not even had the intention of telling me that she is in pain, that she goes to see him and stuff. she is hurting right now, but I presumably dont know anything as she will not even mention it to me. The only reason i know is because friends have posted things on her facebook such as " heard about ur friend, be strong". Why does she not tell me? why do i feel unimportant and jealous? why do i feel like a horrible person for being jealous?

I'm not going to ask why do men cheat or this or that. However my question does concern affairs/adultery/cheating. I have seen this happen plenty of times and it baffles me like no tomorrow: when the husband cheats, and the wife decides to file for divorce, the husband then becomes the victim! I hear people say several things ranging from "she is such a child! to divorce of that" to "well she shouldn't have never gotten married!" to "she didn't even try to work it out"...My question is this I guess, well 2: 1)why blame the victim [like it or not the one who was cheated on IS the victim], 2) in such a case, does she really have to work it out? Here's my other question: it's like for a marriage to really be a marriage, adultery needs to happen. This why I say this. When adultery happens, and they stick together, I always hear "oh this made us stronger", "we made it through", or "this tested our love, but we passed"...I'm thinking really? Yous husband needed to have an affair for the marriage to be seen as a strong one??? One last point: I'm a woman, so that's why I refer to the husband as the adulterer.

For example, I'm trying to find out how long I was a little kid. People tell me it's like this... Age 0-2 is a Baby Age 2-3 is a Toddler Age 3- 9 or 10 is a Child Age 10-Puberty = Pre-Teen Puberty to Age 18 = Teenager Age 18 to Age 25 = Young Adult Age 25 to Age 60 =Adult Age 60 and onward = Elder Is this the way it goes? I'm confused lol, Also I read on Wikipedia that when you start Puberty you become a Teenager, and that Puberty could start from age 10-13(Started 11-12 for me)

Hello, It has always been my dream to go to yale, since I was little, now I find myself a sophomore with terrible freshman grades ( one A, couple B's one C, and an F! 2 honor's) the only reason for the poor grades was the diagnosis of my of having being bipolar after crashing her car, with me in it, into a building n a snow storm because she was chasing snowflakes, after this and many other incidents my father couldn't take enough so he put her in a home and moved across the country, at that time I was having very conflicting emotions and I did very poorly.I was planing on writhing my college application about that experience Now I put my head on straight, have already been preparing for my SAT's, made sure I was in all honors and one AP. My question is if i begin an upward trend do I have a shot. Also I run on cross country, swim, row (which I hear is big at Yale), play lacrosse, debate team, and chess team. I am adequate at the sports, but debate and chess I excel, no awards...yet, but top of the team.I have made 3 different computer programs 1 of which Is in the mac app store, and, one was a location based service that uses AI to help find better music Apple tried to buy it, but I decided to upload for free, and the last one I'm not sure what to with. I apply i would go with early action Also i am planning on attending Harvard SAP or Yale Summer Session. Btw, I'm in Calculus, I took the pre calc exam last week...

[ Botany ] Open Question : What plant is this I found near my blackberries?

It may be a weed, but I'm not sure. It is a small ball. It is a light green with dark green streaks coming down. It looks like the watermelon gum balls one gets from a gumball machine. The stems are prickly (not thorns) and when I cut the balls open, it is juicy with small white seeds, and smells EXACTLY like a green pepper; however, they are not green peppers.
