I've had this dream of being a fighter pilot since I was 5 years old..although it seems like a stretch, I still want to give it a shot. Two of my best friends just got selected to fly F/A-18s in the navy, and I would love to follow in their footsteps. I feel like I am very qualified besides my gpa and am worried that it will be the kiss of death. What are your thoughts? Is it worth even applying? *2.74 GPA- Aeronautics with a minor in UAVs from Embry-riddle Aeronautical univ. *300 hours total time/multi-engine/instrument/commercial/CFI/CFII *Good physical shape/believe to meet the medical requirements also *No run ins with the law/no speeding tickets

So I have liked him now for almost 5 years now, ( I am going into 10th grade) and only some of my close friends know about it. I know i will never have a chance with guy, but i always like to think that i do, but i don't. A couple of days ago, he texted my best friend if he knew of anyone he could " talk to" and potential date. As she knew very well that I liked him, she gave him her other friends number from her softball team and told him to try to talk to her. I am very mad at her, for not even bringing me up in the conversation! That was yesterday, today she showed me his conversation with my friend and him. He said how amazing she sound and much they have in common. At that point, I broke down in tears. Most people tell me to forget him because hes not interested... but i just can't! The thing that makes me the most mad is that she is SO happy for her friend and she didn't even say sorry to me for not mentioning me. If she did mention me and he said no, at least I would have some type of closure... that's all i want is closure! Would you be mad at your best friend for doing that to you and what would you do!?! PLEASE HELP ME!! Thank you! :)

It aired a few years ago on russian tv it was a soap opera. It was about a girl who was going to get married but then they got in a car accident and she became blind. the show starts with "M" i'm pretty sure. And at the end of the show, she fell and hit her head on the sidewalk and regained her sight.

I have known him since my junior yr in high school he was a senior then. Now he is a freshman in college. I am Sikh girl. He is Pakistani boy. He was in my class junior yr. He sometimes looked at me? But we were not friends than. But now he is in college. I send him a friend request on facebook. He accepted me. I liked his 2 pics on facebook and he liked my whole picture prom album? When I asked him his number he gave it to me, and I gave him mine he did not ask for it. I don't have txting so I just chat with him on facebook. I'm looking at purchasing a Grand Theft Auto game for my PC after enjoying Saints Row Two. I know they are similar, but with so many GTA games, which should I buy? I'm overweight so I'm cutting back on my calories to 1200 but thanks to mother nature, I can't stop eating. I'm eating 1600-1900 calories a day since... Well yesterday. I'm in some bad need of help with our Mac. We wanted to TRY Linux on it through a LiveCD (Not install it, just load it up and try it). So, I burnt the disk and set Mac OS X to boot from it from System Preferences > Start-up Disk. Next, it booted from the disk, but we could never quite get it to display the desktop. So, we turned it off and taken the disk out (Note that we never actually installed Linux, only ran it from the LiveCD). Now, when we turn on the Mac, it won't respond to keyboard/mouse input, brings up a gray screen for about 20-30 seconds and then go blank for a few seconds before bringup up another black screen with a blinking white cursos(?) in the upper-left corner. We can not seem to get it to accept any keyboard/mouse commands, such as holding down the otion key at boot up nor resetting the PRAM. Any help on this would be appreciated! Thank you!

Please help! I work at Target in Madison, Wisconsin right now as a sales associate making 8 dollars per hour. It's not too bad of a job, but I wanted to work in electronics, unfortunately, that didn't work out. So I was offered a job NOT in the books sections, but the DVD's and CD's section. I used to work at FYE (which is basically a Sam Goody, Strawberries, etc) and I loved it, basically because I love music and movies haha.
