I was contacted by a major international company for a phone interview about a month after I applied. I then had the interview with another person, which went really well and after the interview he said I would have his recommendation to come in for an in person interview. He also said that I would hear from him within a week regardless of their decision. The person I interviewed with was not the person who they had scheduled me to talk to because something had come up with him and he was not able to be free for the interview time. I sent a thank you email later that same night to what I thought was the correct email address. I received no response and a week later I had not heard anything from him. After 10 days of hearing nothing I sent an email just saying that I was still interested and asking if there were any updates on the status on the position. At 2 weeks after the interview I had still heard nothing including no response to either of my emails. At this point I called the person at the hiring office I had been in contact with to see if she could give me any information and to also confirm that I had the correct email address. She said she would let the department know that I was looking for information and that I did indeed have the correct address. Today is the following day and I still have heard from nobody in over 2 weeks despite multiple attempts to contact. I would really like this job and I do not want to give up but nor do I want to annoy them and ruin my chances of getting the job either. This is a company with an international reputation so I think if they were done with me they would at least have responded to my email to tell me so. My dad says that I should contact his cousin, who works there but I don't really know him, and see if he could get some information for me. I do not know if I should wait to do that however because I don't want to annoy the people who might still be interested in me. My aunt also said I should just call the office but again I have contacted them 3 times in 2 weeks so I don't know if I should wait or not. How should I proceed?

My hair is thigh length and its black, pin straight, but EXTREMELY thick. And it has this tendency to just all of it hang in front of my face. I am used to it by now, but actually, I rarely ever wear it down because its actually impossible to see or pretty much do anything unless I hold it with my hands at all times. I cant hang it from my ears because its too thick. I do wear it down at home, but I pretty much look like cousin itt at all times. If I move it out of the way, it immediately just comes right back to cover my whole face. I just wanted to see if anybody else has this same problem cause it seems really strange and although it don't bother me, I even get comments like from my family and stuff and on the rare occasions that I do wear it down when I go out. So.... Anybody else? How bad is it?

ok i have a 40 gallons tank and i keep getting mixed answers on the stocking,so please help me. this is what it has in it: 1 common pleco 1clown loach 1rainbow shark ^all of those i am getting rid of 1 drawf gourami(i plan to get 2 more) 2 glofish(one die,it was three,and i plan on getting 3 more) 2 guppies,getting 1 more poss. 1 dalmation molly,she had 20 babies,so soon 2-3 babies will be put in the 40 maybe 2 redwag platy,thinking about putting them in my 10 gallon with 3 guppies 1 tinfoil tetra<-ive heard they are mean,but mine keeps to himself and doesnt bother anyone else(: so what do you think?should i get rid of more,or do i need more? if i can add more,any suggestions?

My friend and I are going thrifting in Williamsburg tomorrow. I found a link to Beacon's Closet but from the online store it doesn't seem as cheap as thrift stores should be. The shirts were like $25 and dresses $50. At that price I can buy it at the mall! Anyone know a good thrift store in that area?

Hi. :) I was initially interested in becoming a pharmacist and my major is health science, but a career as a forensic scientist (crime lab analyst with specialty in toxicology/DNA) looks a bit more interesting. I would like to know if I should continue to major in health science (with a pre-forensics track) or should I change my major to chemistry? Advice from an actual forensic scientist would be a plus. :) P.S. For my health science/pre-forensics major, I will automatiacally get a chemistry minor (I will take general chemistry I and II and organic chemistry I and II, including labs), and I will be taking genetics, cell and molecular biology, and biochemistry in addition to required criminology/criminal justice/psychology classes.

i have been growing out my hair since 14 and now im 16 and i havent got my haircut in these 2 years becuase i was growing it, but unfortunately i have to get a haircut soon (nooooooo) ;( ;( my hair is an inch below my rib cage, my split ends are bad at the bottom, and they go up to my boob, but my split ends arnt that visible at my boob anyway, i only want 1 inch off.my hair looks much nicer long and i im still growing it to my belly button.so how can i be sure that the hair stylist dosent just cut my hair up to my boob, becuase there are split ends there. i mean obvs if the stylist asks if they can cut off my split ends, i will say no, but they may still do it anyway, so how can i be sure that dosent happen? im dreading going to the salon

Ok so my dad gets so mad at every little thing my mom does or says and takes I personally. My mom is really nice and our whole family is Christian. We took a vacation the pAst week and I don't know if it was her parents ( cus there old and cranky) or he was just tired or what but my mom didn't mean anything she said in a bad way. (before the vacation he didn't get mad that much) he was abused horribly as a kid. He is usually really nice and funny to me and my sisters and loves spending time with me because I'm the oldest(14) and a guy sO I understand alot of stuff he went through. And he would never hit any of us or my mom maybe in fear of ending up like his parents. Is he mean to my mom because of his abuse or what! I get so confused and pissed off because sometimes he's such a jerk but then he's all nice? Plz hlp!!!

My ex-mother-in-law has guardianship of my 3 children. She told me that there was a court date for child support (after the date had passed), but I never got the paperwork to go to court. She is now telling me that the judge revoked my visitation (even though she would only let me see them once a month to begin with). I tried calling the judge and they told me that they could not give that information over the phone. When my ex-husband and I gave her guardianship, no visitation was established and we could see them as much as we wanted. Since our divorce was final, she has been coming up with multiple excuses why I can't have my children to visit. She would let me come to her house to see them, but that was it. Now she is saying that I can't come there to see them or even talk to them on the phone.

I waa just thinking about last school year when i went vegetarian and didnt eat school lunch and my friend Josie mustve got irritated because she didnt know i was a vegetarian and said "you know not eatin actually makes you fat" i was offended and said "i eat at home" I was thinking about it cuz these past weeks i havent ate much and havent weighed myself. I dont wanna gain weight, but im pretty sure that isnt true because of kids in less fortunate countries dont eat much and are VERY thin... Just asking... :/

ok lets say you have a group chat, between lets say 3 people, if the third person goes offline would the third person still be able to see the messages sent after she went offline? the photo of her is still there but it is off, as if person three is offline. I love him to death, and we have been dating two years. For this past year though things have seemed to start to fall apart. In october of last year he got a job, and since he had to go to school and balance a job, the time we got to spend togather declined at a speedy rate. Now it's summer and I see him at most 3 times in the week, because he works three days a week from 5 in the evening to 5 in the morning, then he sleeps most of the next day because he is so tired from work. Then the days he isn't working he is doing a personal trainer internship that lasts the whole morning. When he has time for a social life he has to balance his friends and I, I barely get to see him :(. At this point I just dont know what to do because it's driving me crazy that I barely get to see him, but I don't want to be a needy girl friend who is always nagging him for his time. And everrytime I talk to him about how maybe thing aren't working because I never see him and he doesn't have time for me he gets very defensive, and says he is trying his best and he loves me more tha anythig and he never wants to break up. But hes so busy that he never can really text me or call me just to talk anymore, it's making me so unhappy that he can't make time to even text me, but yet he still want to stay togather? What is going through his mind should I break up with him? I just don't know please help

Ok, There is a girl, and i've done the stupid thing and slightly fallen in love with her :/ I just cant get her off my minds. Everything she does or says makes me smile, and just the way she is give me this feeling. I think she might like me, but im not sure. I was going to ask her out, but we only have a week of school left, so i couldnt see her that often, as i live in the middle of nowhere, and the only busses require a 3 mile walk, or the school bus. I was friends with this girl ever since i was little (she was like my childhood friend) I'm 24 and she's 31. (Before all this she said she wanted us to be friends and wanted us to go and get ice cream together. I told her that i wanted to get to know her better and then she told me she was like a book. And i asked her if she wanted me to read her pages she said yes if you don't mind. (Now i have NO idea what she meant by that.) I told her we weren't friends and that it was all in my head and then she said "Wow i thought we were friends I'm a little hurt" After wards I told her that i never wanted to be her girlfriend and that i had a boyfriend that i have been with for awhile. She then said this "U r funnie...but i understand that ur feeling r hurt and i'm sorry for that.....u went out into the deep end telling me about ur boyfriend of 5yrs but u NEVER and u mean NEVER want'd to be my girlfriend, right...HA...u need to stop it. And i hope everything works out wit u and your boyfriend. Happiness is everything...good luck". Then i told her that i wanted to give her money for books because she was going back to school. And she asked me why i wanted to help her is it because i wanted something in return. A lot of other stuff happened and she ended up blocking me on facebook. After i said that i was cooking her favorite food for my boyfriend. (I guess she thought i was trying to make her jealous when i really wasn't) I have been friends with her ever since i was a little girl and i do really miss her. I called and asked her why she blocked me on facebook.She told me she blocked me because i was retarted and childish and she told me she didn't want to be friends with me. And that the way i call and text her is like i want to be more then friends. Hey guys. I have a six pack, big arms, and a cool hairstyle. I have a nice dress sense and I also have a very outgoing and down to earth personality. I am just unhappy about my long face. My face is oval shaped and is quite long, it's just the way my head is shaped like. Pleas guys I am begging you.... Do you know of any facial exercises in the world at all that will make the face shorter over time? Anything at all that can change it? I am prepared to accept my self if there is nothing that can be done.... But guys before I do this, do you know are there any facial exercises at all in the world that can specifically make the face shorter? I am prepared to accept myself but would hate to think I missed out on an opportunity to perfect myself in this area :P
