I wanted to try a different way to meet women. So I tried online dating, and I just bought a membership last night. So far my experience has been less than what I hoped. I have emailed a few women, and they send no messages. I tried instant messaging women, they did not respond. I still want to try, but so far it has been a failure.. Anyone else tried it and failed?

My good friends (they are a young, married couple) just moved into a new house with their 1 year old daughter. They don't have a lot of money (in fact they are going to struggle to meet the house payments--why they bought the house is a different story, but that's neither here nor there). Normally for a housewarming present I would find a cute decorative or kitchen item and give that. However, since they are struggling financially and have to put all their extra cash toward the bills, house, and baby (and not necessarily in that order), I was thinking this time getting a $25 gift card to TJ Maxx or Marshall's, and also a $25 gift card to Home Depot. That way they could have $25 to spend on cute decorate-y things, and also $25 on something (or towards something) for their new house (repairs, paint, whatever). They are my very good friends, I've known them for years. Do gift cards seem impersonal?

Hi, im 14 only 5ft :( . I've gone through puberty 2 years ago. i dont play any sports, but im planning to swim 2 days a week for 1 hour, and jump on a trampoline everyday. so im keeping this 4 year old at my house and really he just plays and i provide lunch and snacks, we go to the park,a nd its not that bad keeping him. im saving up for an ipad 2 <3. and at the rate im charging ($5 an hour) ill have it in about 3 weeks or so, but i dont want to mess anything up, i want to ask for more but i had already said $5/hour /: what do i do? and im shy as crap.

Today I had a socially awkward experience where some guy I've never met asked me if I wanted to buy something. my ex she is 25 and I we've been broken up for a year now we talk to each other and text. the one day she had her girl who is a friend over and they watched a movie after the movie she text me. Then one night she went to the bar with her girl friends from work and she text me when she was at the bar and if i didn't answer she would text again saying hello. She tells me everything like that her mom and real dad are getting back together and that she hates her mom. well 6months ago her step dad tryed to rape her she got out of there i was the first one she called i picked her up and i was rubbing her back and i was there for her.The day after that her and her real dad went to report the step dad to the police. Then the next day she went out west for a couple weeks and came back on march break to spend with her son. well 2 weeks after we got in a fight and i said mean stuff like she is just like her mom and that her son is going to hate her how she hates her mom and that she is a s lut. i didn't mean any of it. so its been about 5 months since we talked. the last text she send me was saying i want to be left alone by everyone.I text her alot of times saying sorry i left flowers and cholate at her place with letters telling her how much she means to me and how sorry i really am.I seen on her facebook all her closes friends from work she delete them all off her facebook. 2months she been staying at her grandma and grandpa's she told me that she is on drugs from the dr so im guessing she is depress. i send her a text a while ago and she hasn't said anything. Her aunt and my dad are really good friends well she told my dad that she quit her job and moved out west 3months ago to be with her ex and they are going back out and is going to stay out west for a year. I know last year in july she went down to see him for 2 weeks then in dec he came down for 3 weeks. She has a son who is 10 years old and her mom and dad have custody of her son so she can't take him out west with her. so why would she move there for a year without her son for an ex. here aunt also said she said she doesn't want to have anything to do with me p.s when me and her were dating she told me about her ex the one who she is going out with now that they went out for 5 years. He's 10 years old then her and the reason they broke up the first time was because he wanted to get married and have kids with her and she didn't want that and that he was on drugs. So he moved out west to get clean i guess i don't know if he is clean or what so I havn't emailed her or anything for a couple months so july11 I emailed her on facebook saying I know you hate me and I don't blame you. I just want you to know that I really do care about you and that I'm here for you and after she got them she blocked me on facebook 1. Do you think she has feeling for me more then friends and maybe loves me? 2. why isn't she talking to me? 3. do you think i just need to give her space? 4. since her aunt said she is going back out with her ex then why didnt she call him first when she almost got raped? 5. why the hell would she move out west and leave her son? 6. do you think me and her have a connection? 7. why would she delete all her friends off of facebook 8. im not sure if she is depressed does it sound like she is? 9. did it sound like we were dating before the fight? 10.how old are you? 11. why would she block me on facebook? 12. why do you think she went back to her ex? 13. Ok im looking for a huge dog breed. Im thinking of getting a new dog when my family buys a new house. So i can train it to be mine,& no one elses like we always have. I have had experience with german Shepard's, rottweilers. I love great danes cause i love there tallness, but i dont like that there slim I really like english massifs because there huge! Hi, I'm wondering how I can get faster at swimming- I have been swimming since I was 13 (I now am 15) but I am not a particularly fast swimmer. I can do a 50m fly in around 34-35s, 50m Freestyle in 30.4s, 200m free in 2m 23s and 400 in about 5m 20s. I've noticed I prefer long distance, but although I have the stamina to keep up a stroke rate and speed (my splits on the 200m are all within 7s of each other), I am not fast enough to get a good time. All times bar 50m free are short course. I swim 3 times a week and I also do 2 other sports. I was wondering if you have any tips for me to improve, I'd greatly appreciate it. It's just recently at the youth games I realised that I wasn't as fast as I thought. Thanks in advance, -S

Okay.... I have some hardware for my pc (internal card reader) that requires a 9 pin plug on the motherboard... I don't have a 9 pin plug on mine. I fell head over heels in love with this scorpio man and i also fell pregnant! He wanted the baby and constently told me he loved me and couldnt be happier! However his gemini (drunk) cousin got jealous and was trying his hardest to get my scorpio man out raving etc and telling him that he was young and needed to enjoy his life!
