I don't remember the name or the author. It is about a girl who's grandfather was working with runes and ends up letting one elf like person out. This other sees his granddaughter and watches over her until she's much older. The other ends up kidnapping her and her friends and putting them in a house in separate rooms, where they each have to face their own fear. It's a several book series but I can't for the life of me remember the title or the author.

My boyfriend Mark thinks that this is way too weird and unhealthy.. He heard from my sister that I would always giggle before crying when our Dad would give me a spanking across his lap when we were little girls. I did this more when I got into 3rd or 4th grade. I told Mark that I did this cause I knew my panties were showing with my school skirts or nightgowns lifted up. It was more over my Dad seeing my white briefs. After Dad started spanking me it was just like normal for the next minute or however long a spanking took I cry and such. What is unhealthy about me giggling before I got a spanking???

People around they say oh when you get at a girl, sometimes it takes weeks or months, I do not see a point in that, because if a girl is uninterested woudnt that just annoy her if you try more? [ Women's Health ] Open Question : It has been 2 weeks and no results for my pap smear...should I worry?

I had a pap smear done on July 28 (thursday). As of tomorrow it will be 2 weeks since I had it done. I hadnt received my card in the mail so I called the office today. The nurse said that they didnt have the results at the office yet and they werent yet posted on the whatever doctor website or whatever at the hospital...She told me she would call today if she got the results by the end of the day or I have to wait until tomorrow (easier said than done). Do I need to be worried that they arent back yet? Because of another issue the doctor did take time during the pap smear to check with that creepy light and all and said everything looked normal and the test would be fine but now 2 weeks later I have no results. Also, how long after your period stops should you have a pap smear done because mine stopped less than 3 days before having it done. I am VERY worried that there is something wrong and thats why I dont have my results yet.

I've always had a short attention span and had trouble making deadlines and doing simple tasks, but now that I have more responsibilities it's really been interfering with my life. Schoolwork, housework, etc. is so hard for me to concentrate on... like I'll go upstairs to do laundry, then either forget why I'm there or get distracted by something else and never get around to it. I missed work the other day because I got distracted and didn't notice the time. I want to tell my parents (i'm 17) but I don't want them to write it off as an "excuse" for not getting things done. All the symptoms make sense and I have a friend with ADD who says she's the exact same way as me. How do I bring this up to my parents and get them to take it seriously? Or should I talk to a doctor or counselor first? Please don't tell me I'm just "making this up" as an excuse, I just want to get tested to see if this is really something I have.

I am using a stats counter and it says I have an average of 42,000 visitors per month and 1,000,000 page views per month on average to my site. I just bought the site. The previous owner knew nothing of stats and said he thought it didn't get many visitors at all. Now I am wondering, how do I prove that these stats are real? I'm using a stats program (SmarterStats) and I feel like I need to double check that my stats are real before approaching advertisers. I have not yet installed google analytics. Is there a way to prove that my stats are for real?

My boyfriend hates to go fishing with me but he decided that he will give it a shot since I go do things with him that I don't always enjoy, like sitting at a skate park for 2 hours. I want him to have a good time when we go. We've decided to go fishing tonight and we're taking our dog and cat with us (they're both good leash pets). How do you know if people are uninterested in associating with you? I have a hard time telling if people are actually uninterested in associating with me or they are just busy with work, college, masters degree, grad programs, whatever else is going on in their lives. Sometimes I won't hear from someone for MONTHS I'll assume they aren't interested in associating with me then out of the blue they will call me. Someone that I know, who always likes to play victim whenever she is involved in problems with others and never admits to her wrongs was just caught redhanded by me the other day. She's taken some images of clothes and make up from a website that does not belong to her and put it up on her social webpage and telling everyone that those are her things. She loves getting praised at. A few years ago she lied about getting pregnant twice, the 2nd time she was still taking midol for cramps, a friend of mine confronted her that she shouldn't be taking it if she knows that she's pregnant. TThis person is 20 something. And what do you know, a month or so later she claimed that she had a miscarriage. I know she's had a hard time trying, but her lies are so fabricated and clever, but me personally I know this person like the back of my hands. She's been trying for 5 years now, and my heart goes out to her, but now that everyone else is getting pregnant, all of a sudden out of the blues so is she. For a person who has been having so much fear of getting pregnant, miscarriages, the way she tells it on her social webpage is "looking up baby names and so excited, my head is in baby land" and this was a day or two after she took her pregnancy test. Shouldn't she be more careful? Supposely she is 1 month pregnant, and already braging about names, clothes, baby ticker thing online. Is she setting herself for failure? is this how a multiple miscarried women acts like? or is she lying again, covering up with a miscarriage later on? My sister had a hard time trying for about a year, she is finally pregnant, but women that I know that have had a hard time trying, I know they are secretly over filled with joy, but the one I know is out just rubbing it in. So is this real? or not?

Hello, I want to know if it was difficult to learn how to play cello. I'm 15 years old, but I think I'm sort of a quick learner. I've been playing clarinet for 6 years and I've been playing guitar for less than a year now and I picked it up quickly. I want to play cello because I love the sound it creates, it just sounds so beautiful. I'd love any advice on how to start, what is the difficulty level on learning this instrument and anything else that may help me. Thanks in advance!
