[ Diet & Fitness ] Open Question : Calorie Deficiency Diets?

I'm 5'10 and 185 pounds. To maintain my weight, I used a calorie calculator and it said I should be eating at least 3000 calories a day to keep my current weight. However, I'm on a diet which consists of only 700 calories. I just tried it out today and I ate 3 meals, just a lot less. I added them up and I only ate 700 calories. I don't feel tired at all. If I'm not feeling tired, is it safe to continue this 700 calorie diet? Or will my body have the rebound effect right after I'm off the diet? By the rebound effect I mean will my body store fat?

Today was my first day of college. In one of my classes I was sitting next to a girl and about a half hour after class ended I saw her again on campus. When I recognized her I said "hi!" She just sort of stared at me and mumbled "hi." I think I might have sounded too friendly or something. Should I not have said anything to her?

So I know that they say you due date is 40 weeks after the start of the last cycle but I have long cycles of usually 35 days. Im wondering if its possible that I ovulated later and im actually not as far along as I think. My last cycle was June 29 so that would make me right at 8 weeks. The reason im wondering if im not really this far along is because I never got a positive pregnancy test untill 2 weeks 3 days after when my next period was due (aug20), all tests before were negative so I was already 7 weeks when I found out im pregnant? Or maybe im not that far along yet? I know I should ask a doctor but im waiting on an appointment.. And i just wanna know now (: Thanks in advanced for your opinions!

I was supposed to pick up a woman I've been on five dates in the morning to go to six flags magic mountain.I received a text at 3:00 am saying she had to cancel because she had to repaint her walls of her apartment. She said they didn't come out the color she had hoped for and that she was really sorry.I saw the text around 5:00 am and I told her that she knew I already had bought the tickets and that it was rude and inconsiderate...I told her she should have at least told me at a reasonable time so I could invite someone else.She then tried to flip things on me saying, "oh so you're planning on inviting someone else,that shows what kind of person you are." I told her there was nothing wrong with me inviting someone else if she was flaking. She ended up texting me that we shouldn't date anymore.I didn't text back. We work in the same facility but I get off an hour after she starts.We have an hour working together about four days a week.I plan on keeping it professional so I'm not worried about it on my end but she may be uncomfortable.My question is....was I right to call her out on canceling so last minute? and why did she suddenly not want to date anymore when we've had great dates with no problems?

Okay so I really Luke this guy at the lake... He's so hot and great at baseball just like me ;) we jumped off the dock, but we didn't really pay attention to each other (I didn't know he existed b/c I was with his brother)... Was seeing this beautiful chick for the past couple of months, took her on expensive dates at fancy restaurants, didn't have sex with her last week although she wanted me too (She "loves" me because of this) and I could have but wanted her to catch pseudo-feelings. Invited me over for dinner, and I met her family and they all thought she picked a good one. She now texts me all the time at school when we aren't in P.E. or English together asking me if she looks okay and if her outfit's nice; I don't make it obvious so I compliment her, but talk down about something she did wrong, like having on too much makeup. To begin with, I'm 19 and she's 15. When we dated for 2 months, no sex was involved at all, I love her too much to even consider doing anything like that with her. About a month ago, she broke it off with me, citing that I'm a better friend than a boyfriend for her. All I showed her was love, and during the time that we dated we never argued, everything was so simple. She really believes that I'm a better friend than boyfriend too, because everyday for 2 weeks after we broke up we spoke on the phone for at least 2 hours and saw each other quite a bit. During that time, I thought she still liked me because she still spent time with me. Apparently, I'm not a great person for her to be close to... yet this guy that's willing to buy her alcohol because "he's a nice person" is worse the love-hearts and "xoxo"'s. He's one of those guys that takes pictures of himself in the mirror with his shirt off and has 100 comments from different girls telling him how hot he is, one of those guys who has been kicked out of school and smokes. In other words, he's exciting for an insecure and bored 15 year old. He wants a hot girlfriend to fuck, and although I don't think she realizes the complexities of the world she lives in yet, she still hangs around with him. When we met face-to-face, we had an eyes-lock moment where the light from within her pierced my retinas and smashed into the back of my skull. I can't get over it. We had an argument on Sunday night after I'd been falsely told by a so-called "friend" of hers that she used me to get over somebody else. Jumping to conclusions, I posted this; "I wonder how quickly it is that love can turn into something it's not...something like hate and disgust. With me, it hasn't taken long at all. It feels like it was meant to be something quick. The people that you waste your love on to find out that they were never worth it are people that will never experience something as horrendously beautiful as that. When they use you and toy with your strongest emotions just to make themselves feel just that little fucking bit better, they completely lose all relevance in any kind of mutual happiness. They're not worth anybody's time, anybody's love. They'll always see these people that appear to be in love, and then question why they can't ever have anything like that. I believe that once you use somebody to gain something for yourself without even really caring for them, the possibility of being given the gift of love is immediately taken away. You can never be completely happy. Once you become worthless in a certain somebody's eyes, once somebody can't feel anything but betrayal and hate for them, your happiness dies completely. You'll always get what you want in life because you appeal to other people who are just as fucked up as you. Unfortunately, though, you'll never get what you need and will always live a life of waiting and will fall into something pointless. If you aren't ever anything to anybody else, you'll never be anything at all." ; on Tumblr. She read it, and hated me completely for about an hour, but after we spoke about it she forgave me. If a person I didn't care about greatly had said those things about me, I would've completely erased them from my life. She still wants to talk to me, and for some reason I feel like that's something special. She's the most beautiful person I've ever met, and I want to know her as both her and I get older. However, based on all this criteria, can it ever happen again?

I pretty much certain thats whats wrong with me. The things that go through my mind keep me from sleeping at night, and keep me from getting on with my day. I really cannot function until I have cleared my mind of whats bothering me. I think I may also have mild depression, or maybe I just get sad sometimes. But when I'm sad. It doesn't mix well at all with my OCD. I usually get sad because I'm growing up, and I'm a teenager now. I think about how simple things used to be, and the fun the things my family use to do together, that we no longer do anymore. The feelings mix in with my OCD and I repeatedly go through the same things in my mind. I keep a mental list of the things I need to think about, and it gets so overwhelming at times. Its really stressful. I can't just think about it and be done. I have to think through the things in my mind until I think it out perfectly, if that makes sense. I used to talk to my self (I still do sometimes), and I would have to say everything perfectly until I could get on with my day. If I messed up I'd have to start over, and once I'd finish, I'd have get up out of the chair I would be sitting in perfectly, and walk away perfectly, and If I messed anything up I'd have to start over with my rituals. Its a very hard thing to control. It can be controlled but It takes a lot of will power. I don't obsessively wash my hands though. Its more in my head.

I was grocery shopping and saw a big empty spot where the butter used to be. I asked this kid where it was and he was like "we don't sell it anymore, they don't even make it anymore." I freaked out and started causing a scene I was like "ALL WE CAN EAT IS CHEMICALS NOW!? WTF!! WHAT ABOUT OLD PEOPLE? WHAT ABOUT CHILDREN!?" The reason I would want to use the cloud is that some of my previously downloaded media has been lost through various incidents. I can't "redownload" the lost media because it's already been downloaded once before. My question is: what's so good about the iTunes cloud if you can only download any given item once. This is not my video but this person seems to have the same problem as me.. Literally my stomach makes this noise allot , especially at school . Like i can make it make that noise and other times if i move even the slightest bit it will automatically make that noise. It does this whether i eat or not.It's so embarrassing when it happens at school because i can't control it and it's super loud. Could it be digestive bowel disorder? My 10 week old daughter was sleeping great in her pack and play next to our bed until a couple weeks ago (which I suspect is because we had family visiting and it totally ruined our routine). She would sleep 4-6 hours , wake to feed and then go right back down (at which time my husband would be leaving for work so I'd put her in bed with me) and sleep another 3-4 hours, wake to feed and go back down before waking for the day. Since family came to visit I'm lucky if she sleeps for 2 hours at a time so I've just been keeping her in bed with us from the time we go to bed. I've been trying to get her back into the routine we had but so far nothing is helping and I also suspect she's starting to teeth. I don't want her to get too used to being in bed with us because I want her to be in her own crib/room once she starts sleeping through the night or only waking once. When did you start transitioning your children into their own bed? Was it easy or hard? Any tips?

I have hair that is kind of damaged and I had it done in June and i got dark brown all around with pink highlights and pink underneath my bangs and the all the pink that was put in was bleached. & later that day my mom dyed the highlights a dark brown color because she didnt like how it came out. and now the highlights came back but in a goldish brown color and my bangs are like part pink/blonde/orange. & i need some tips on how to get my hair back to my natural color. & i want it to be long and healthy again. I have bleached my hair once before and i have dyed it darker colors before. my hair is about medium length now. Any tips? Thank you.

I'm looking for a book I used to have but I can't remember the name or the author. I know the cover was pink and the name had 'kiss' in it I do believe. It was about a couple of teens who start secretly seeing each other and then his Dad and her mom meet and fall in love. Their parents end up getting married and they stop seeing each other after that. I work with this guy that I think is attractive. I've caught him looking at me sometimes and I have even made eye contact with him on occassion. I looked at him while I was putting stuff away and he was looking at me, but he was far away and I don't know if he was looking at me because I was looking at him. He talks to everyone else besides me at work. He talks to me on occassion, like one time I was trying to punch in from my meal break and the thing doesn't let you punch in until exactly 30 minutes. So I was just standing there waiting and he was like "What's wrong?". Out of nowhere. Then one time I was talking to customers and I could see from behind the customers he was staring at me the whole time...I don't know if it was just me or not. Then a few minutes later when the customers left, I felt like he was watching me when I was clocking out to go to lunch. Again, I don't know if it was just me...sometimes when I see him around the store, he looks at me and sometimes he doesn't. He couldn't get a pen to work and so I gave him one and when I chuckled he chuckled too. I'm confused. I honestly have no idea what is going on! Lol. Can someone help me out? I know this is a lot but I'm confused...and please don't say anything like "Oh, you shouldn't be attracted to him since y'all work together." This isn't what that's about. Thank you.

I've always gotten advanced in every subject when we take state tests (and it's pretty hard to get advanced in every subject every year) I get almost straight A's usually get 1 or 2 B's and they're related arts not a real subject. I got honor roll every quarter and I got into pre-algebra. An one of my friends and I have the same amount of knowledge but she's in gifted and I'm not. Why aren't I in gifted?
