I collected some walnuts in 08. I have been storing them in the fridge since. If I take them out and scarify them will they grow and skip stratification? I also have some mockernuts from '10 and butternut seeds from '10. Will these seeds grow if I do the same thing?

I just watched that movie gran tourino and i was just wonderin how to be a real man. i work hard (i have 2 jobs im 16) and i do work at home i take risks i do all that good stuff but when it comes to people tryin to put me down do i just blow it off or should i tell them off even if they r bigger then me i wanna be seen as a guy thats not wimpy but not tough ya know? so wat should i do? and wat r some other things to do to make me "man up"?

Ok so tomorrow my friend is coming over and i have no idea what to do, its sunday and fathers day tomorrow so no shops will be open and its going to be raining and windy and cold tomorrow so cant do anything outdoors, and we have dvds and video games but they get boring after a while and we cant just go around and break stuff or set things on fire because my mum and sister are going to be home. I would really appreciate if somebody would give me the cons and pros of this device. I'm really just looking for a new laptop that I can use internet on, watch movies online and type up some papers. I'm not looking into doing a lot of stuff. Those are the basics. I've read some reviews and I'm a little worried the tablet part being 'too slow.' And please don't recommend the Ipad. I like the laptop style that comes with the duo for all my papers.

I'm planning a trip to universal studios Orlando for haloween horror nights at a partner hotel my parents had a horrible expirience w/ the free shuttle. Are there certian hotels that anyone knows of that have inadequate shuttle service ie service ends before the park closes or doesnt get there for a few hrs after they open doesnt run late for events like HHN??

im 17 and ive bve barley seen my family/friends. got scheduledeen working at a grill/pub resturaunt for about a month and a half. im just wondering if i should quit because... i havent seen my family/friends barely, i always get put on friday nights, there is no set time i get off work (it depend on how busy it is) last night i got home at 12. i also have 5 AP classes to worry about and school in general. i mean i make good money, but i feel like i am working all the time. (for ex. one night i had to stay till 11 and then had to study for 5 tests when i get home. on a schoool night toooo! (this week ive got put on for wednesday, thurs, fri, sat, sun and then the next wed, thurs.) and its very high stress. basically the only plus is the pay and a few people i work with.... does this sound unfair to you? like a little too much for a senior to worry about with school?

I wonder why, when a man is taking a break from paid work to study full-time while his wife/girlfriend works, he is called lazy, a freeloader, a mooch, etc. But when a woman goes to school full-time while her husband/boyfriend is the sole provider, no one says anything. My personal story: during the first year of our marriage, my husband was in his last year of university, and the job he had at the time had work for their employees only in the summer. So during the school year, he was collecting unemployment and I was working. Oh the heat I was getting for that from family and co-workers! "Are you sure he isn't taking advantage of you?", "He'll never want to work again now that he knows you're ready to pay!", "He does housework I hope?", etc. Fast-forward 2 years, my husband's salary is higher than mine because, you guessed it, he has a university degree and I don't. Recently, I got asked if I contemplated going back to school, and I say no because it would be a little hard as I have to work full-time for a living. The person's answer: "But don't you have a husband?". Ok, so when he was finishing his degree and I was working, he was a freeloader taking advantage of me, but if I decide to leave my job for 3 years to complete a bachelor's degree while he works his a** off, that makes it ok because it's his duty as a manly man to provide for me? Double standards much? I think some people have forgotten that it's 2011.

I've been on advair for years. My periods got longer and longer inbetween. I have had 60-90 days in between my periods. I started waning off of advair in May. I started by only using it every other day, then every 2 days, and now i use it around once a week. My last cycle I had spotting at 30 days. Then my actual period started another 34 days later. THIS cycle, exactly 28 days since my last cycle I am either starting my period, or its spotting again. I can't tell yet. Anyone experiance anything simular? My breathing hasn't been great, but I think it is having a real effect. Iim wondering if anyone has been there done that, or if any one knows what to expect?

Okay so this might be long but please just read and tell me what you think. So I just started high school last tuesday and this guy is in my math class who I knew from last year but never really talked. So we got like homework and he like gave me his number for me to text the answers to him that night but I was super busy so I didn't. He flirts a bit like teases me and takes my ipod. We met last year. She's attractive and has many guy friends. Back in May while texting She told me "SHE HAS A boyfriend LOL". She said we should hang out. I then told her I like her. Me and my friends but left early. She text me saying "are u still here, and I saw where you were sitting". I text her back hours later. We talked about orientation. She had to go and said "see me soon". Thursday I went to orientation alone. The minute I sat down she text me saying "hey you came alone?". I text her backing say " wassup, I guess you see me lol". She told me to look up a few rows. I saw her but said I didn't. Later the two groups separated. She text me at breaking asking If I left and I told her yes.She said that its long but that I should stay and its helpful. I told her I'd let her pay attention. She said its ok and she's bored. The other day I borrowed AC Brotherhood from a neighbor and it played fine that night. But the next day the sound suddenly crapped out on me in the middle of a mission. Now it doesn't work anymore. I tried plugging in the cables that original Xbox came with, however, the sound works fine with the cables but the screen is horrible.I really, really don't want a crappy looking screen. All my HDMI cables don't work, and fiddling with the audio settings does nothing. If worst comes to worst I'll have to replace it via warranty. But it is a limited edition Halo 360 one (like that matters). I just want to play games in HD. I hadn't played my Xbox360 in a few months and now when I want to it doesn't work. ok so my older sister is 28 years old and very overweight (she is 5'3 and 300 pounds) and i want to help her lose weight, but i dont know how to bring it up. i understand why she is overweight cause she has had a tough life. we grew up in a broken home with a disfunctional family. my "father" left our family little before i was born and my "mother" was an alcoholic and was always getting fired from jobs. my sister has been taking care of me since i was a baby. when my sister turned 18 she moved out of the house and legally adopted me. im 14 now so she is much older than me. and now i live in a stable home with my sister and her boyfriend. i really want to help my sister she has raised me, and she has helped me with every problem i have had. this might sound weird but i dont see her as my sister, i kind of see her as my mom. i just want my sister to be around for a long time. she is very sensitive when it comes to her weight so how do i bring it up

A month ago I was pumping ear in a truck tire which could contain more than a 100lb of air and the tire blew up in my face affecting my right ear. Since then there was a constant ringing and decreased hearing. I visited an otolaryngologist where I receieved Prednison Tablets 5MG, two ear injections, MRI, and balance tests which did nothing to stop the ringing. The doctor stated that it might be trauma and there was a nerve damaged. Only hearing aides would accomadate for the decreasing hearing in the right ear but I was wondering if there would be anything to stop the CONSTANT RINGING. Should I see a trauma specialist? Is there anything else that can be done?

Hi Everyone! So I want to tryout for my high school cheer team in the Spring when I will be out of volleyball (thank gosh). I don't want to do volleyball anymore after this season and I was going to quit but I didn't just for the fact that the coach's talk to each other and I don't want a bad reputation when going in to the cheer tryouts as a quieter. But anyways I'm going to be a sophomore next year and I'm pretty tall does that make a difference? So, I was just wondering what type of classes I should take before tryouts to be completely prepared. I was thinking about doing an all around cheer classes, (privet lesions) once a week starting in October-March when volleyball season is over. I was also thinking about doing some tumbling classes on the side also. I was just wondering if they're are any other classes I should take? Also, for tryouts should I do something that would make me look better, (Ex: Smile etc.) And I hate to say this about my own school, but their cheerleading team kinda sucks, but I still want to give it my all so I will have a pretty good chance of making Varsity. Any advice would be great thanks!
