Heya guys. So. Highschool. The four biggest overrated years of anyone's life :)P As a derpy freshman, I can't go two steps without seeing a couple holding hands or kissing or discussing whatever it is that couples discuss or hearing about who's dating who and doing what. And I feel really out of the loop. Rest assured, there are /plenty/ of cute guys, and a couple actually pique my interest beyond the standard "omq he is so (adjective)". Equal parts of me are saying things along the lines of: 1. You're going to be lonely forever and die with 80 cats if you don't get some kind of male manliness boyfriend RIGHT NOW 2. Guys are just walking penises, all they're gonna think about and want is sex, don't get involved for your own good. 3. He is so amazing ohmygoodness no way can he fit the stereotype but he can never like me because I am (insert excuse here) So what do you guys think? Try to say yes in case any of these fellows asks me out, or hold my single status? Should staying single be such an issue? Wait till college? Am I a lost cause? :)P Thanks :L

This week I started school, and on the first day this guy who was in one of my classes last year said it was nice to see me again (I only went to school for the first quarter and then did online classes at home the rest of the year). I get the feeling that he likes me, but am I just overthinking this? Oh, and whenever he sees me he looks sort of surprised and kind of gives a little nod, and today he did a peace sign to me as he was walking away. And yesterday he came up to me and asked me if I got my senior pass yet, and when I told him I haven't yet, he said something like, "don't worry, you'll get it in time". What do you think? Thanks!

I apologize, but this is a repost since there is a lot more new information. A couple of nights ago I went to my college's Harry Potter club meeting and was wearing a Dunder Mifflin shirt (the company from the office) and after the meeting I ended up hearing someone say they loved my shirt. I turned around and there was this girl who looked like everything I want in a girl physically (short, dark hair, glasses, dark hair, sweet, beautiful smile) and we chatted it up. She is a freshman, I am a senior and I walked her home even though I didn't have to. We have an insane amount of things in common (like the office and harry potter, enjoy punk rock and victorian novels, and have the same interests for example) and after I dropped her off she said she wanted to hug me and keep in contact so I gave her my number. We have been texting non stop and just tonight I went out to dinner with her and she said she wanted to look pretty for me, and we enjoyed our meal while talking some more. She's told me how awesome and amazing I am and vice versa, She has used many terms of endearment on me and when her mom called her while I was in the room she would look at me and mouth certain things and say yes to a few of her questions. I haven't met a girl like her before, and she's just as awkward and sweet as I am (or have been told). I don't know where to go from here, but we're seeing each other again this week. I had to go home and she was sad that I had to go, she really wanted me to stay and tell her when I got home. She also said I'm like her twin since we have a lot in common and she cares a lot for me already. But things have just become a bit more complex. I find out today she has a boyfriend that she has been with for a while now. They dated after their senior prom and broke up back in April til July but got back together. She's apparently a jealous type since he goes to an infamous party school four hours away from our school and he may or may not have been with someone during the time they were apart. I don't know what to do, I know that as a freshman these things change but I still am interested in being her friend. What should I do?

We took her to the vet today, and the doctor said she had no heartworms. I read the signs of dogs having heartworms and it seems like she has them.She breathes rapidly. She lost her appetite to her food, even though she always couldn't get enough. My mum, her boyfriend and my friends dad all seem to drink too much, and they won't listen to us when we try and confront them about it! :( even when we explain how its making us feel.My mum seems to just be drinking more..and getting drunk more often..it started when she met her boyfriend..because he too also drinks a lot! :/ and my friends dad knows that it hurts them but doesn't to anything bout it so he started trying to sneak beer into the house and hide the receipts but they know hes still just as bad :( my mum takes pills as well when she drinks...which is worrying...because I'm scared shes gonna overdose by accident or summin stupid like that! Because it's like she can't look after her self at night...and her boyfriend doesn't do a lot to help just sends her to bed when shes off it. She like glazes over and imagines things...and then doesn't remember anything in the morning but never has a hangover?! Guess i just wanted to tell someone...any suggestions on what to do? Please help...
