It is a Toshiba satellite laptop and, I'm not gonna lie, I've had it for about 3 or 4 years. It has always run well, until a few weeks ago when it started to slow down. I git rid of viruses, cleaned disk up, defragged it etc etc... still slow. What else can I try?

I was born in America and grew up and went to school in a neighborhood where there were next to none Chinese. I understand Cantonese but am unable to read, write or speak well. Years later, now when I want to visit the Chinatowns, I find it awkward that I can't order food in restaurants or read packaging labels in supermarkets. Are there other American Born Chinese in the same situation or am I in the smaller minority and what can I do to improve on this? Thank you!

I want to grow my hair longer but people keep saying to trim it to get rid of split ends! My hair is pretty long (under my shoulders my about 4 inches) but if i trim it, it will become short! My hair stylist never said i had split ends before. He admires my hair but still, I was wondering. How do you know if you have split ends? I don't wash my hair every single day and I deep condition and i don't use hot tools as much. Will I still need to trim it even though i don't have split ends? How do you grow your hair? If you keep trimming it, won't it stay short? Please answer my question(s)! Thanks!

Since she has moved in to university last week we have hung out everyday i can still make her laugh and smile. I have been trying to play the friend as of now cause that what she has told me she has wanted a couple months ago. I know she prolly hangs out with me just cause she doesnt know anyone here. i have fell for her all over again well i have always loved her. My problem is i dont wanna talk to her cause i dont want to make things weird if she says no or doesnt want a relationship . I just get different signals from her, Im trying so hard not to push her away but i just want her back but im not sure where the line is whether i can make a move even if its simple like giving her a hug. we dated for 10 months and have been broken up for about 5 she broke up with me saying it was to serious

I have heard of unwed girls/woman being whisked away to homes where they give birth and then they take the child or forced into marriage. Is it unheard of that this young girl was allowed to keep her baby in 1859? What sort of life would she of experienced? (She married the child's father in 1862 and when she gave birth her father was already dead so she lived with her mother, do you think that might be why she kept the baby? because fathers were "head of the house")

OK (don't think i am stupid or any thing cause the university in Jamaica is different) i don't know much about Yale but i do know you have Yale university . Yale school of medicine and Yale school of art..etc but i want to know if you can just earn you PHD in Yale university or do u have to go to Yale school of medicine to do so , ( or you have to go to the university then yale school of medicine) cause i know you can do university in other country the applied for the PhD after you have done some year in university and you have the requirements to do so. please tell me i am a straight A student i want to be a doctor(pediatrician) but i want to have many opinions cause i do work hard ..thank you

Hi i'm 17 years old from the past 3 years i've had white hair on my scalp , at present now i can barely find any black hair on my head i showed it to a doc few times he gave a tablet i did not use the drug after the first 2 weeks i'm just 17 but i've gray hair covering my head does this mean i'm going to go bald no one in my family is bald is this a medical condition ?

I keep seeing everyone calling out President Obama for admitting he made a mistake, as if it is a bad thing that he admitted it. Would you rather have a President that can admit that he / she did something wrong, or one who acts like there have been no mistakes made? I met this girl at college enrollment day a few days ago, she's been calling me up everynight for a conversation, wants me to meet her inda morning before college, go lunch together and even go home together. she mimicks what i say and hugs me ocassionally and when i asked what type of guys shes into she had described me by saying she likes guys my race. she also once called me up one night saying " babe, i can't sleep. I've been going to the gym for a month now, and the exercises I've been doing have taken me an hour and 30 mins at most. I was hoping that maybe someone could show me how to decrease this time to around 45 min. So my question is can anyone show me a 3 split routine that with cardio somewhere in between rest days, so I can stay lean but still have a nice amount of bulk. If you include a response please include a quick warm up and cool down. Also I am 16 years old and have no idea what I've been doing in the gym. Yahoo fitness experts please help me out. I've been researching split routines and come out with nada. Plus none of ripped friends will show me how because two busy dealing with chicks swooning over them 24/7. So please help me out?

so i have a 4 year old paint thats been getting mean to my other two geldings, adn will pin his ears at me but wont do anything, i can ride him and work with him but i feel like we are going no where!!!! like we are stuck and just cant improve! om my 3 yera old we are getting better and he is now really good bareback with a halter after a week of ridding like that. but back to my other gelding, hes still growing i think hes grown an inch in the past few months because he seems taller then before when im geeting one so hes now 16.2 hh (and still growing) he seems like he wants to be the leader of the group and picks on my QH thats 16 hh and 13 years old, he will go after him once he gets board of him. anyway the thing is i realyly think it would be best to send him to a trainer (my friend knows an amazing one and one of her horses are there) andits 300 a month i think feed and stall is included in that plus working with them. and ive been to this persons house when i was yonger and saw the horses hes trained and anyone could ride them. but my dad complains a lot about money and things like that, he got mad when i went out with my friend to a horse sale and got another one.... :). so i was wondering what should i do my dad will complain the whole time i have my mom almost on board with this i probley would pay half, only half becuase i buy supplements and all the other things i need. (im 17 by the way) and when winter comes it will be harder to wrok so i was thinking to get a month of training and go off of that and get him better. ' ho could i get him to get on board with this? i really dont wanna just do it without him half on board. id really like to send him off before winter comes. and the guy is like an hour away.
