[ Weddings ] Open Question : I thought bridesmaids were supposed to help the bride with the wedding?

My bridesmaids are practically useless. Two of them will help, but only after being badgered a thousand times. The other two never respond to anything, or help with anything at all. I am really starting to freak out. My wedding is in less than a month and I still have so much to do. Why should I have to buy them a bouquet, and a present, when they have done absolutely NOTHING to help me in anyway??? It is all being put on my Maid of Honor. I feel so bad that she is having to do everything, that I had to help plan and figure things out for my own bridal shower and bacholorette party which is in one week. I have enough to stress about, my friends not helping should not be one of them!!! My fiance said to just kick his sisters out- the two that are not helping at all. They are extremely rude, selfish, and disrespectful. One is 18, and the other is 20. The thing that gets me is we are all extremely close, I have known them for 10 years. Why are they so RUDE??? I have tried talking to them, and yet they come up with a million excuses.. Or say they are sorry, but continue to act that way.. AHHHHHHHH

currently in 14 years old i am girl , I'm 5 foot 11 '' currently i think i stopped growing . i can easily pick up my own body weight : 159 lbs . i can run 2 miles in under 17 minutes and etc. my family : the most stereotypical if going int careers : my brother is a Realtor (22) my dad is a dentist (54) and my mom is a teacher (47) they all believe that a woman should stay home raise kids cook and clean, of course i plan on doing those think but when im a bit older... even as a kid i felt as though there was something more made for me . maybe its the artist/ painter in me speaking, but its the truth . what would you think of a woman in the marines (??) = Age

Hello, So I finished my Associates degree back in May. I planned on being done with college because my grades sucked and I was trying to work my way up to manager at work. But now I decided to go back and get a four year degree. I'm thinking something with Business. But how can I transfer to a new college with a GPA of 2.03, there's no schools so far that I see taking GPA's that low, they all want 2.5 min. What do I do? Should i not go back and waste the money possibly.

Hey, I've noticed that I have a white tongue. It doesn't hurt, I don't feel anything, but it bothers me that it's white. I think it has been like this for while, but I guess I haven't noticed. I've looked searched online, but I can't really find anything. Do you guys think its thrush, leukoplakia, or any other bad disease. Or is it just white? How could I treat this as well? Thanks

my boyfriends parents dislike me, and i get so nervous when i go to their house. when the food comes out i feel like im gonna throw up everywhere because im so nervous. im sick of it, and i hate going to his house. when i speak to them i go red and shake because i know they hate me. im going for a meal with them tonight and im scared ill be sick everywhere! and i wont be able to talk to them! they must think im really rude and even though i dislike the way they treat me, i just want them to like me so i dont feel this ill, its starting to scare me and i feel like im gonna throw up everywhere already. please help

A few days ago a friend told me that my picture and false information about me had been posted online. There is a digusting site that anyone can send in a picture and write whatever they like about anyone. The site is geared towards insulting, and saying nasty things/gossip about people. The moderater then can comment on these posts, usually more insulting and disgusting things, as well can random readers of the site. I have no idea who may have posted about me. I was lucky, alot of the time the subjects name is printed, mine was not. All the supposed information written about me was false. It was disgusting and hurtful. I am torn between being really hurt and thinking its rediculous because I am not the kind of person that people would talk about in that way. I am a good person. Im not a slut, I am not a partier....Im a caring, nice person. There is a "remove post" option on this site where you can email the moderator and explain why you want the post removed then they are supposed to either delete it or get back to you...Im not sure... I have messaged them twice to no avail...This post has been online for 3 weeks and I have already had people who know me see it and ask me about it. It is frigging humiliating and I am terrified a work colleuge may see it...I read the websites disclaimer and they basically say they aknowledge that information posted may not be true and take no responsibity for it...yet they still posted MY picture and false information about me....If the post isnt removed is there any legal action I can take to have it removed? Thanks :)

When I've said that I think the Catholic style of church is boring and I prefer it when people get really into it and expressive I've been told many times things like "Oh well then you're going to church for your own entertainment instead of for God and that's wrong." I've even been told this by people more liberal than me that go to more traditional churches. But why is it an issue? When a parent puts a picture their child drew up on the refrigerator, they don't care that it's not a Picasso masterpiece, and they're not going to do an art crtique about what was wrong with it. I have a tough time seeing someone die and then God saying "Oh well you didn't praise me in a dignified manner so off to Hell with you." What's wrong with just going to church with the style you enjoy most?

My name is Samuel and my middle name is my mother's maiden name. Something more than "Sam" or "Sammy." I would think "Ben" which is the first syllable of my surname AND Hebrew for "son" (like in Benjamin and Reuben which mean "SON of the right hand" and "behold, a SON" respectively).

People kept saying that if not for Catholicism, we could have been at least 500 years more advanced. I even found one atheist saying it's 1000 years. But don't you ever think that that only applies to Europe? There's definitely going to be a major gap between the Europeans and other countries. Which means that just when the Chinese starts using primitive guns, we'll be using nuclear bombs. While there probably won't be any genocide of an entire culture or whatever, the gap is quite huge. Racism was huge back in the classical era, and I don't think race equality would improve if the Europeans had planes while the rest had swords. Even the best case scenario is still awful. Say that it's just 300 years more advanced, mostly the same thing. Would you rather have a Dark Age, or the submission of the world to the "superior race?"

So are middle and high school are connected just diffrent halls. And I'm known for the bad *** girl in detention and is a big tomboy..but I went shopping and I got some girly stuff...I hate people judging me ans I think it's a faze in life dressing up...I wanted to dress nice the first day. Okay. I dyed my hair BLACK. (Natural color: Medium brown) It was too dark and I decided i wanted to dye it golden brown, So i used ColorOops, hair color remover. It said I could dye immediately after use. I used the gold brown and it only colored my roots. My hair looks like it's natural color now, But only form the bottom! The top is 'golden brown' And I want to dye it a dark red. Should I wait it out? Or should I try and dye over it?

I've lived alone for nearly 15 years, and have always been with British Gas and Npower, but its common now to hear on TV and radio about changing suppliers for the best prices. I had a letter a few weeks back from British Gas about their prices rises and i could sign up to freeze prices until 2013, i generally ignore these letters.. but today i had a letter from Npower about their price rises too as of October. My bills are reasonable as i've always lived alone and pay quarterly direct debit for both, i can imagine it may be helpful for families but is it worth the hassle to keep changing to find the best prices? Thanks

IM NOT JEALOUS, IVE SEEN PLENTY OF STUNNING WOMEN, women with gorgeous faces,beautiful hair long short curly or straight and and have a nice figure BUT>>> i dont know it gets me so angry when i see average looking girls trying so hard to look extremely sexy like they end up doing so much on themselves they start lookin like sluts... some girls should know their limits because i know if i fail to look a certain way(in a photo or at an event) i would find something else that works for me not go so far to looking like sometihng i end up looking cheap or whorish. like.. i know i dont have big breasts so i wouldnt try to squeeze my boobs together to make them look bigger ill just wear a little push up bra and leave myself covered not pull my top down to show cleavage.... teeange girls do it all the time make ridiculous faces to make it look like they have a fun personality when they all look the same.. half of their bras are showing through their top, gut hangs out theyre mini tops.. im just saying they should just find sometihng that look good on them insteead of trying to look like someobody else

So theres this guy in my class whenever I look over he's looking at me so I quickly look away . It went like this for two weeks and he never said a word to me . An REO came by and signed a lease with me. I have been paying rent to them but they claim that I got behinnd when my rent checks were sitting in their accounting office. Now they have returned the checks and want me to give them a cashiers check for the full amount for five months. I did the cashiers check but they said it was not including the current months rent and gave it back to me. In the mean time I can not get them to do any repairs. i have a first generation ipod touch and i have a fairly large video that i am trying to sync onto it (1.66 GB). the ipod has enough memory to hold the video but when it says it is syncing the bar on top is not moving, symbolizing that the movie is loading onto it. i have a mac, if that makes any difference when solving the problem. thanks!

My friend and I are going to start a business we already have our foundation started. There are a few problems we have come across. 1) Financial of course is usually a issue for a business in the making. So loans are they a good way to go or will it end in chaos. 2) It's going to be a dance club for teens and young adults. If we get a multi-floor building can he sell alcohol on one of the higher floors and not allow under age people up there and still have younger people at the dance or will the people under 21 not be allowed inside the building at all? 3) Is it illegal to sell soda that you buy at the store in plastic cups & snacks like candy. As in if we get 3 liter and get like 10oz cups and sell the cups for like 50 cents each, or if we get a big bag of like m&ms and put them in like a cup and sell that. 4) I'm pretty sure this is illegal but i want to make sure lets say we buy glow sticks at the store for 1.00 each can we turn around and sell them ourselves for a profit?

Well I take good care of my teeth, and I know, sometimes that's not enough. I was in college for awhile, and for going on 6 years I've skipped on going to the dentist, just never thought about it really. So now, I have dental insurance. But what dentist should i go to? Dentists scare me! My original dentist passed away, but his son now runs his office and is a dentist. Should I go to him? OR should I go to the dentist my family uses, they all go to him. They said he's ok.

okay soo last night I had a WEEEIIIIRD dream. this is how it went I got up to go to the bathroom and heard the door creak. My house in the dream was nothing like my house in real life and had statues and escalators everywhere.. and I was wearing a nightgown.. which I never do lol. anyways I was done and got up to see what was going on there was a man who broke into my house. he was big(tall not fat) and I don't remember seeing his face and he grabbed me and hit me and Im pretty sure he raped me but I don't remember that. (weird I know!) and I tried to call the cops and he grabbed the phone and hit me and stuff and it felt like when that happened, I work up in my dream. I don't know if I had lost consciousness of it it was a dream. and when I woke up i guess he was gone so i told my brother and he called 911 and I told them what happened. A few days later I was in the car with my parents and we stopped in a dead end place in the middle of the night this guy that I have liked for like 6 years was there. (I dont text him or anything now we just talk once in a while in person.) anywayy said "i heard what happened and Im sorry. If you ever need anyone to talk to Im here.." and i asked him for his number. I was at home later and started crying cus... well that was traumatic and I thought maybe I was pregnant and my mom comes up to me and says I should call the guy I like, and I texted him and we were talking and it was the end of my dream. more happened but I dont know how to say it. is this like just random or does it mean something?
