I'm 14 going on 15. I need to earn some more money at the moment, and I can't just ask my mom for some cause she's getting pissed. My friend told me to sell pot but I'm like.....no..I'll get robbed or jumped or some shit like 50 cent did in Get rich or Die tryin'...I just buy it, I don't know nothing about dealing it and I don't plan on learning to. So, what could I do. Could I work at a store or something. I always hear kids my age-but just boys-talking bout how they got summer jobs, I don't ever really bother to ask what accept I know a few of them do community work or something like that. So what could a 14 year old do? Work at the mall? Store? Mcdonalds -_-?

I have this fully grown, male cockatiel. He is about 16 years old. I am 14 and got him when I was about 2 or 3 and he was fully grown then. He used to sing all the time. Was it because we had a female one too? He whistles and thats about it. He makes his regular noises. He used to sing and he wont sing anymore. Is this bad? Can we teach him to sing? I was working part time as a bank teller making $10.50 an hour at 30 hours per week. I was offered a job closer to home, 40 hours a week making $10.00 an hour. It's at a pharmacy doing insurance billing. I have not done insurance billing before. THey told me in six months or less if possible, they could review my wage and possibly give a raise. Do you think this is a good move? I live in the state of Wisconsin in a rural area.

I have talked to my ex boyfriend every day since my birthday last year (sept 22) and I have mild OCD, so I hate change, I hate it so so much. He broke up with me yesterday, he said it's for a break but he already has a new girlfriend. (we're 17). It was a long-distant relationship so I understand why it hurt him to not be able to hold me and what not. I only saw him like once every two weeks. I understand that. But why he has another girlfriend, I don't know. He says he still loves me and always will. I don't know what to believe anymore. The pain is unbearable. Anyways, I don't know if I should just cut him out of my life, because I feel as if I need to talk to him everyday. and he promised me he would talk to me whenever he can. I need him in my life still because he's helped me through so many things. I don't know what to do. But I have so many people here for me, including my parents and brother, and all of my friends, and it's amazing how much they're helping me. Thank you We were dating for almost 5 months, but like I said we had been talking everyday. I helped him through the last relationship, she broke his heart and I stopped him from doing a lot of things that could permanently harm him (drugs, alcohol, cutting). I don't know what else to do.

I graduated with a bachelor's degree in public relations about a year ago and was lucky enough to receive a job a few months after graduating. However, the job turned out to be very limiting and in no way matched the job description I had applied for. Instead of expanding my skills and experiences, I am limited to hitting the "refresh" button and monitoring their Facebook and Twitter. I have been here for 5 months now and have come to the conclusion that this is just how it's going to be. I was also told that I would receive a raise after my probationary period was up, which I was really relying on as I can barely survive from what the starting salary was. I have exhausted my savings account from trying to support myself and feel that I am out of options. I actually began my career search a couple of months ago for careers in the public relations/marketing sector and have since been on a variety of interviews (phone, in-person, lunch you name it) and unfortunately they have all gone nowhere. I understand that it might not be the most appropriate to apply after being at this company for such a little amount of time, but I feel as if I am not being used for my skills or valued much as an employee. And yes, I have discussed this with my current employer and they simply don't seem to need me for much more. Unfortunately, it is becoming increasingly hard to hold on to this career while trying to explore other opportunities: The amount of sick hours I have accrued are dwindling, as I have had to use them to go on interviews for other jobs to no avail and I am still very much scrapping to support lifestyle needs such as rent, gas and food. To sum it up, I have a friend who works in finance in the town I live in, gets paid well (benefits included) and does require a college degree. He's a good friend and gave me an insider opinion and does very much like his job. He referred me to his manager and said I can use him as a reference and would do very well there, as there is training provided and I am a pretty sharp-minded person. There is also opportunity to grow with this company and move up down the road (my current company is family-owned... There is no chance of moving up, period). I really want to go forward with this opportunity, especially when it DOES require a degree (I wouldn't want to work somewhere where I felt my college education didn't help me at all). However, I'm afraid that this might hinder my chances of finding a job for my actual degree in the future. But on the other side, I'm willing to change my career goals if I am able to move up in a company. I have consulted friends, colleagues (not at my current job) and of course family and have receive mixed reactions- some say to go forward with it, some are afraid I won't be able to use my degree. I am more than happy to take a chance, but don't want to screw up my future doing so. What are your opinions on this? Unfortunately (for financial and self-worth reasons) I don't feel I can stay at this job and just "wait things out" any longer.

There's a clothing item that I really want to order online. The store I want to order it from offers free shipping for purchases over $150, otherwise there's a flat rate of $10 for all other purchases. The item that I want is only $23. Now, is it worth it to just go ahead and purchase $150 worth of goods just to save $10 (I can return everything that I don't want)? Or should I just go ahead and shell out $10 for shipping? What worries me is that something may go wrong and the money may not be credited to my bank account (paranoid?) I realize that there's an inherent risk in ordering clothing online. It's entirely possible that I may not even want the item that I'm thinking about purchasing after I try it on, so I'm not quite sure what to do at this point.

It is true that they do not get a cash paycheck each week but they get paid very well. Each athlete is given a scholarship to the university that is worth about $30-50K or more depending on the university. They are given free tutoring for their classes. Some major programs have special athletic dining areas with better food than the average student receives. They get trips all over the country and sometimes the world at no expense to them. Then, only a small percentage of these athletes are able to make a living in their sport after college. Where else is a kid out of high school going to make that kind of money with all the benefits?

So I went to the doctor at 10pm because I was told it's cheaper late at night for some huge cut on the left foot. Waited until midnight, showed the doctor my injury, the doctor told me she can't do anything because I came in too late for stitches. Didn't do anything, give me anything but just sent me back home. I even told the person up front that my injury is not an emergency so I was told to go to the other section in that case and I did. Why am I being charged like I went to the emergency? The place is HHC Bellevue Hospital Center. PS: I don't have insurance

It didn't used to bother me but it's starting too now. I don't usually have a birthday party you see but I always buy my friends a birthday present when it's their birthday, even if they don't have a party and I have done this for the last 4 years, so ever since I've known them. One of my friends buys me a present but the other ones just get me a card and I feel a bit short changed that I spend 10 pounds on their present and then 1 or 2 pounds on a card for them and they just give me a card and that's it, and it's not as if they're poor either, I know it sounds selfish but it's really not fair :| This year I'm going to have a birthday party to make sure they get me something because I'm sick of it.

I bought this new 42" Lg Plasma 13months ago and it has started to lose the sound .I am using it with sky plus and everything is set OK but the sound goes and If I turn off for 20seconds it comes back on again.Picture is fine just the sound,guarantee has just ran out in July.I am a retired sparks but I don;t claim to know about these new slimline TV 's any help appreciated
