[ Food Service ] Open Question : Job training/employment question?

Okay so last Saturday I received a call from a restaurant that I applied to a month ago. They asked if I was still interested in the job (I was) and that I should come down to the restaurant the next day for training. There were 3 other people there with me and we stayed for almost 2 hours learning how to do everything with the computers, etc. When we were done, they said they would call us for another training session. However, it is now Thursday and I haven't heard anything yet. Should I be worried? I thought I did a good job at the training..

Our internet provider says that we live to far out in the country to upgrade to any faster internet. We are only getting 0.55mbps download and 0.26mbps for upload. :( Since we can't get any faster through the providers, is there anything we can do to get a faster internet?

Just like the avian respiratory in birds, the main lungs don't 'inflate', the air sacs do. Air is breathed in 1 way, but the 'path' splits into 2. A '1-way entrance' and a '1 way exit'. 1 is blocked when air enters, so it enters the main lung 1 way, then when exhaling, the other way is blocked and the air has to 'take a different passage' to reach the 'exit'. The carbon dioxide doesn't 'form' in the air sacs. The air sacs are like a 'storage' When inhaling, half the air goes in 1 air sac, while the other half goes through the main lungs, where the carbon dioxide 'forms', but the air completely crosses through the main lung and enters the other air sac which holds the carbon dioxide away from the main lung. Then when exhaling, all the air leaves the system. The carbon dioxide in 1 air sac takes a 'direct exit' without entering the main lung, and most interesting of all- the oxygen in the other air sac that has not entered the main lung yet now crosses through the main lung and also takes the 'main exit' out of the system. So only fresh oxygen ever enters the main lung. So just exhaling would also feel relieving as inhaling does.

We live in New England, and it sure is getting hot out. My dog has a thick double-layered coat similar to that of a Siberian Husky. He has basically finished shedding, but he still has a thick coat, so I'm worried he will be too hot out in the summer. Should he get his fur cut? I've heard it's not good for spitz-type breeds to get cuts because it affects their fur growth and it's not good for their skin or something. What do you all think?

Hey guys. So I've played baseball all my life up until high school. I developed a new interest around that time and now I'm realizing that I probabaly should've stuck with baseball. I swear every time I go to buy ammo I always come home with a great deal that I never expect. Today I bought 3 boxes of 9mm and a bulk box of .22lr Thunderbolt. Earlier I was complaining about a 4 box and I was just checking my receipt and found that there were only 3 items sold! The Remington thunderbolt was in a plastic wrap I haven't seen but it deff protected the box. I think the guy scanned a side label that was on the plastic wrap and not the bar code at the bottom. Is it ethical to keep the ammo and would it be bad to buy more ammo from that same place? Like maybe make it a point to buy 3 boxes of high velocity (exensive ammo) then ask for a box or two of thunderbolts that everyone seems to hate on (that happen to be free)? Thx 10pts. Btw when I walked out of walmart the scanners didn't go off because I guess the item was never scanned in properly. So I think it wouldn't freak out with the other boxes that are actually way in the back of the case.

Recently my wireless hasn't been working properly. Earlier my Xbox 360 wouldn't connect to my network, i did everything, and after a while i just decided to restart my modem.
