I'm thinking i'd like to go down the career path of becoming a social worker, but i'm not really sure what kinds of jobs there are. I've been told there are specific areas such as working with kids, single parents, etc. I'm thinking at the moment i'd like to work with kids in some way. I've spoken to a careers adviser and she said my A levels, once i've completed them would be useful to me to take to uni. Basically, i just wanted to know what people have studied at university that have led to a career in being a social worker, what kind of areas you can work in, and any advice or expeirences would be appreciated. thanks :) x

I have been trying to learn to vocal fry scream for a bit now, and I'm not talking like the screamo BFMV or anything like that, I want my OWN scream, with my own voice in through it. I am looking for someone who knows how to take the fry scream and put some balls into it. I have been working at it, and need someone to converse with who has it down, and can help. If you have a GOOD fry scream down, and can prove it to me, hit me up, I would love to talk and learn tips, etc. I have bought both Zen of Screaming, and have basic scream knowledge, and CAN scream, I just need help improving it. Any help? Would love to hear from anyone.

So my boyfriend and I have been a couple for almost 2 months. Anyways, I was at a friend's house early on in our relationship (he wasn't there), and there were about 6 of my friends there. There was a girl there who I hadn't seen in a long time so I gave her a hug (I am a girl), her boyfriend was being funny and said "now kiss each other." We were being silly so we did. It wasn't passionate or anything, it was a peck, and I haven't kissed anyone but my boyfriend since then. I'm feeling guilty about it and I'm wondering if I should tell my boyfriend. He knows I've kissed my friends before, and he seems to be okay with it, but I'm not sure if would still be considered "cheating." Should I tell him? So should I tell him, or just keep it to myself?

If someone bullys me and I never see them again I over obsess about it for obtuse. Like I am 17 and autistic and I was in a low math class with freehand there was this one in there who said he was smarter than I am and would say that I am slow or idiot he would say to me dude you're so slow or dude youre an idiot or dude I'm smarter thsgn you and I would get offended by this. He thinks he's better then me and he says I need to stay in a special class. He also me in truth or dare games or would you rather. I have processing problems so when he calls me slow I get offended. But I have not been in his class for a while so when I do see him he acts really nice to me like nothing happens and I wonder why. He also flips out every time I get a wrong problem on a math sheet. Am I the only one with this bullying problem? Sorry for bad spelling I was typing this on my phone.

My ex was mad at me for something so he dumped me. Then he started seeing someone else. For a while it was awkward between us. But then I said hi to him and he acted nice too so it seemed things were less awkward between us. But then the next day he seemed to avoid eye contact and almost give me resentful looks. He does this most of the time, but other days he stares hard at me and tries to get my attention. Makes no sense.

Ok, so I consider myself somewhat agnostic, but I pretty much have my own beliefs that don't follow a certain religion - a mix of a lot of them. I was raised in a Christian family, though. I have a friend who is a hardcore Christian, and tells me if I have any questions about God or the religion I could ask her (she wants me to be Christian, like she'll be my friend if I'm not, but she just thinks it would change my life or something). I would ask her these questions (Ok, so I still haven't gotten over the whole if I'm not a Christian will I go to hell? thing, which makes me more curious about the religion), but I don't want her to find them offensive. They could definitely be taken that way, and I mean no offense to anyone on here. And please answer my questions, I'm not trying to make a point, I really want to know. Questions: 1. If God loves all of His children (I'm assuming that means everyone on Earth) then why are there starving kids in Africa who die every six seconds? 2. If God loves all of His children, then why even create sins? If He hadn't created sins, no one could do wrong, thus meaning no one would go to hell. Why would He send people to a place as horrible as hell if He loves everyone? Just seems like He's playing a game or something? 3. Why does God seem so desperate for attention (NO OFFENSE INTENDED!! I'M JUST WORDING IT THE WAY I'M THINKING IT)? I mean, all this If you don't believe in Me, you're gonna go to hell and Spread the word about Me if you wanna go to Heaven and Everyone must know about Me? 4. My Grandma (hardcore Christian) said when the world ends and Jesus comes down, those who are Christian will go to Heaven and those who are not will go to hell. Does that include little children all over the world who hadn't been introduced to Christianity yet, therefore unable to convert themselves even if they would have wanted to? Please answer! And remember, I'M SERIOUSLY NOT TRYING TO OFFEND ANYBODY!!! THESE ARE JUST MY QUESTIONS ABOUT CHRISTIANITY!!

I need braces, because I have some crowding and crooked teeth. I was considering getting Invisalign. (my orthodontist doesn't do it, I'd need to go to a another one, so I haven't talked with anyone about it yet, but I've been on the site and stuff) Anyways, I saw somewhere that you can't have any baby teeth if you want to get invisalign? I have two baby teeth that don't have adult teeth underneath. . would that make it impossible to get invisalign? Because I really want it. I hate the look of braces and I get a lot of canker sores/cut cheeks and lips already, I can't imagine how bad it would be with braces. The guy who does it near me does free consultations for invisalign, so I might go anyway just to see if he can work it out. I just wanted to know if anyone knew if it was even a bit possible. First, yes I am an idiot. I accept full knowledge of that, and I feel very stupid. I did my History GCSE paper this week, and it all went fine, except I ran out of time near the very end (as did others I spoke to, if that makes it sound better...) I got to the very last question, and it was the one where they give you two questions, and you answer one, choosing between question 5 and 6, and each has three parts. I chose 5, did parts a and b, then saw I had very little time left. I was determined to finish, so glanced up at the question, and started to write as fast as I could. I had some points down, so was satisfied when the examiner declared our time was up. Just quickly running my eyes over my work, I realise, that I answered 5a, 5b, 6c. Great. I am normally quite good at history, and I think I did quite well in the rest of the paper. It was a maximum of 70 marks and I lost 10 marks because of my stupidity. My teacher also told my class that no-ones coursework essay was below their target (mine is a B) and if I do well in the other history paper do you think I can average it out?

I don't know if its just me but I have notice that its easier for me to make friends with guys than girls. I wish sometimes that I had some friends that are girls too. Whenever I try making friends, I can never get a connection to start off a friendship and if I do, they ignore me after a while. But with guys, they are more down to earth, fun to be a round, and include me at times if they want a chick around. I just feel more welcomed while the girls I make friends with don't include me in anything nor really act like they give a crap. Honestly, I have a pretty easy going personality and treat everyone on how I want to be treated. It just seems guys appreciate that more in a friend than a girl. I don't know, maybe its where I live.

Does it mean he doesn't love his wife? I recently found out that my husband has been cheating on me w multiple women, starting 2 yrs after our marriage, when our son was only 6 mos. old. Continued through My Pregnancy and birth of our second. On his birthday one year, he spent 9 hours straight emailing his new affair.
