I am a 9th grader in high school and I think I may have decided I want to be an anesthesiologist. I have an interest in science and health but i don't really enjoy dissections... I have researched the job and I know I'm cut out for it... So now for college choice. I get good grades in school(Mostly all As) and I am involved in out of school activities. I'm not super rich but I can afford a good college and med school if I take a nice loan.. I'm thinking about doing to strategy of going to some podunk little school and ranking really high to get a personal recommendation a really good med school- instead of going to some ivy league being over looked. My dad went to UVA so my chances of going there are increased but I still know it wont be easy- is that a good med school? or ughh.. Idk. help me out! I live in pa and have a place in va is that helps.

[ Other - Internet ] Open Question : The frustration of Ebay buyers & bidders that baffles me?

I'm sure many of you can relate to this, it's incredibly annoying that people on Ebay bid & then don't pay or find an excuse not to pay, some genuine, some not. The last two items I sold on Ebay recently one was some foreign bidder with zero feedback, didn't answer emails, didn't pay, didn't answer phone calls, nothing, spoke to another seller he'd won an item from & he had the same problems, though he did manage to get through to him & said the guy couldn't hardly speak a word of English & said he didn't want the item, very annoying. Then last night an auction was won by someone with pretty good feedback score of 33 (all positive) - which last night we spoke through email about sending payments through to me through bankers draft, however today I got a message saying it had been refused at their side & they couldn't pay due to their bank account being frauded & them not having the funds now (which they have to wait 3 - 4 weeks while their bank looks into this before they can get any refunds), probably genuine but annoying to say the least because a second chance offer on this, the bidders below purchased other items after losing mine so will probably not want the item, which is very annoying when you're selling & listing this for a reason that you need to sell it. The worse thing is that you can't leave feedback on the non paying bidders when you request your seller fee's back, which although I wouldn't leave negative on the person with the bank trouble, the foreign guy should have negative feedback 100% from people because it's unfair his account it still active on Ebay & he's doing this to other sellers, leaving his feedback at zero. Thoughts please?

[ Home Theater ] Open Question : my blu-ray player isn't playing dvd's?

when i plug in my blu-ray player and put a dvd in the tv says 'no signal' (both are samsung) but the dvd player menu appears at beggining, this also happens with my xbox 360 through hdmi, it works fine but when i go to watch a dvd is says 'no hdcp link could be found'? it isn't my hdmi cable because i bought a new one today and still no luck :( any help would be great. thanks.

(Sorry its long) My boyfriend was off on vacation with his boss/cousin in Mexico. I was on facebook and seen that he was all of the sudden single. (I'm am promised to him...) And he said his little cousin did it because he didn't log out on his phone. He said his little cousin wanted him to get with a girl that was there with another family they were hanging out with. He told me she flirted with him after I confronted him about the facebook deal. I was pretty angry because if it was the other way around he would be flipping out on me. He told me one more sign of distrust in him and the facebook thing stays the way it is. He knows I have trust issues and I told him so. He gets mad because guys text me and he thinks I text them when I don't. He told me he's tired of fighting for me (even though I tell these guys not to text me) and if he found out I was talking to them it would be over. After I told him I'm sorry and I try to be perfect and he says baby you are but then precedes to say he believes it would take a few days to replace him. I do love him with all my heart and won't replace him... I just don't know what to say or do... Any help would be great.

Hi, my game theme park world wont install. my niece loves playing it and i just cant get it to work. it works on my sister's computer so my niece plays it at home but when i look after her at mine she gets upset as she cant play it here, bless her. me and my sisters computers both have windows vista so i know it works on that. when i try and install it it stops at 89% - tp2.plb is the file it stops at. Anyone have any ideas as to why it wont install? my computer was created for gaming so it should be good, here are some details of my graphics card etc.. I'm dating a wonderful guy. He treats me very well, is the biggest sweet heart and I really am in love with him. The problem is my parents and sister don't like him. Why? Because he has a speech impediment. My parents think he is handicapped because of his speech impediment and it will ruin my life if I end up marrying him. They try to make up stupid reasons why I shouldn't be with him, such as him acting like a child (when he plays with my young nephews) or that he's oblivious. When I ask them what he's oblivious, they have no answer to my question. Just recently my sister wrote me a long email stating that she thinks I am settling by being with my boyfriend, and that I deverve so much better than him. I don't understand how I am settling; he's such a wonderful guy! He treats me well, is extremely considerate, and on top of it all he is extremely responsible, has a great job and owns his own place. He treats me like a princess and I'm so happy with him! What should I do? Should I dump this wonderful guy because he has a weird voice because my family says so, or should I tell my family to shove it?

Or if you prefer to call yourself a Non-Believer that's fine with me. The point is...if you have not and will not place your faith in Jesus as your Redeemer can you tell me what part of His message you find to be good and what part of it you find to be bad? I will make the bold assertion that if Jesus' message was embraced by all then ALL wars and worldwide problems STOP instantly. YES.....INSTANTLY. I believe it with all my heart. HE IS THE ANSWER TO THE WORLD'S PROBLEMS. I'm not talking about living out His message hypocritically...I'm saying.....at what point can you disagree that if His ways are embraced and lived by everyone on the planet....that it would be detrimental to society? Again, I say that the worlds problems are solved INSTANTLY if His message is embraced and LIVED.

On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being the easiest) how hard is it to learn to play the ukulele? Before everyone gets crazy, I just want to say, that I know learning any instrument will be work and isn't going to just happen; however! I've played a little guitar and I have crazy long piano fingers. I would love to play the uke and am just wondering what I have to look forward to. Thanks! :)

I went to a show and the music was so loud that my ears inside sounding like something was crumbling and felt weird so i covered my ears and it decreases as if my drums inside my ears was gonna pop, was it my drums in my ear about to explode or what was happening in my ears? I have tinnitus on my ears (ringing in ears) and when i went to this loud show my ears were so SENSITIVE ppl were looking at me like i was in trouble or something bcuz i was trying to cover my ears while everyone the noise was normal and no1 covered their ears, why is it that back in the days i didnt have these sensitive from sound ears, i used to handle loud music easy but now it hurts my ears easily why? and what was happening to my ears from those loud music? I still dont understand how my ears cant handle loud music or anything loud anymore like it used to years back. I had tinitus for a few years now and im male and on my 20s.

Hey guys, Okay, so I just got my first tattoo coming up on two months ago. I got a Lion head gargoyle on my bicep. Even though I only have one, Im addicted. I want to half sleeve my arm, stopping just above the elbow. For now anyways. I want to do a whole stone theme on my arm. So far the only ideas I have is putting a fleur on the underside of my tricep pretty much directly flush with the lion head, and where my arm meets the shoulder putting the word "veritas." For those of you boondock saint fans out there, you understand the reference. And yes, someone else is getting the aequitas. So I guess Im really looking for a way to turn this into one big piece, I have seriously racked my brain and cant figure out how id want to fill it. Any help is good help, and I cant wait to see what ideas come up. Esra

My 3 year old male, neutered cat ate a mouse on Saturday during the night. Then on Sunday he vomited, and it was very thick. (Not like him at all). Now he's acting sluggish. He's normally a very happy, well-behaved cat, but now every time somebody walks by him, he hisses at them or tries to scratch them. He has NEVER done this, and we got him when he was 6 weeks old. I'm not sure if this is related to the mouse or not. Any advice? Thanks!

Marijuana has so many benefits and is alot less harmful then alcohol or tobacco. If they legalized it they would be making quite a large profit. The only thing that the government cant control is that people can grow it in there own home. So i think if they ever do legalize it, they should put a certain limit on how many plants your allowed to grow. Or make people go through a legal prcess to, but about how long will it take for the government to wake up and legalize it? years wise

My husband wrote me a letter saying that he was written up in BCT,he said that the Drill Sergeant instructed the nearly 200 Soldiers to exit the building within 2 minutes safely or they would get "Smoked" He is 6' 7" tall and 41 years old ( Ya I know huh!) anyways he flew out of the hall and the Drill Sergeant accused him of pushing in order to Not get smoked and instead of just listening to the D S he decided to make excuses such as he was shoved out of the building by others, now even I know you do not point fingers or make excuses unless you are a on a push up mission ~ he said he was written up for being disrespectful but didn't really say what that meant or entailed? So does anyone know what happens when you are written up?

My dog is large so we can't let him inside so we keep him in the backyard, we left to go on vacation for a week and the person in charge of the house when we were gone let the dog inside because it was raining, so now he won't stop whining to come inside because he likes it so much, and we definatley can't let him inside because we have 3 cats and 4 small dogs inside and he is kind of territorial.

I'm looking at a 2WD '07 Titan, and was wondering how it drives in the rain? There's not a lot of snow where I live, so my main concern is with wet roads. I'm currently driving a Grand Cherokee, which is a lot smaller than the Titan, so my second question is, is the Titan easy to park? I see people around town having problems making U-turns or turning in a parking space. Is that because of the size or just the product of a bad driver?
