[ Friends ] Open Question : Am I in the wrong for not wanting to be friends with these people anymore..?

I've had the same best friends all my life, but as of late I can no longer handle them. One had a child with her boyfriend, has had sex with other men on multiple different occasions, all the while stringing the cheating father of the child along. She continually get mad whenever he cheats, but if she does it, it's no big deal. Another recently broke up with her boyfriend of multiple years, moved back to our town, and even though she's only been home a week she's managed to fool around with the previously mentioned friend's baby daddy, (hate that term, but it's convenient) and have them fully break up and have baby momma move away from baby daddy, meanwhile, she has made plans to move in with baby daddy. Keep in mind we're all best friends and have been for years. Also, since having been home for a week, she's managed to get with someone whom she knew recently contracted herpes, expose herself to said herpes, and then get herself broken up with and then she moved on to baby daddy. In less than a week. My third and final complaint, once upon a time had a really nice boyfriend. He was the pastor's son at our church, loved her with all his heart, wasn't going to pressure into anything. They dated for nearly 8 months, and they never kissed because she was his first girlfriend and they were taking things slow.. but apparently my friend didn't like that. A month before they broke up, she started having sex with someone that was once a mutual friend. She was cheating on the best boyfriend she ever had, for a boy two years younger than her, who smokes pot and gets drunk every chance he gets. He's a sophomore, meanwhile she goes off to college in the fall. I know its long, but I had to explain thoroughly.. I'm sick of them calling me, keeping me up like they have tonight because they need to complain about eachother and their own mistakes... they ruin so many people's lives, and they never slow down.. I guess I just need advice.

My friend has ADHD and I found out he had it some time ago and I know that people with this disorder have a lot of trouble concentrating, focusing, etc. He's in the 7th grade and I just graduated from 8th grade. Anyways, sometimes he says really mean things to me (or things that I think are offensive). I don't think he means it, and he might not know what he's saying sounds rude, but some of the stuff he has said was really hurtful to me and/or made me very angry. I want to know does having ADHD affect the way a person socializes with people? Does it sometimes cause them to just blurt out whatever they think or to just say something that they think isn't mean or anything? When he's mean like that, should I just not say anything (which was what I usually did...mostly because I was in shock and because I didn't know if I should say anything) or should I say, "You know, I thought that that was kind of mean and it kind of hurt my feelings..." or say something along the lines of that? Now, I'm starting to wonder should I even keep up with him and stay his friend throughout high school because of his condition. He also doesn't know who his real dad is...he left when my friend was a baby. I don't know if these things affect his behavior or what, but, I'm wondering should I stay his friend? Or should I just stop the friendship? If I stay his friend, how can I learn to deal with his disorder? Thanks a lot, and please, no rude answers or comments.

there's a man that i've looked up to for most of my life, i have so much respect for him and i've always admired him. he's strong and confident and i feel like he's a good role model today i saw him cry for the first time, at first i was in shock and then i started crying too it was overwhelming to see this giant man crumble and break down like that. i'd never seen that side of him before. one of his best friends died recently and he's having a hard time coping with it so what makes you cry??

It seems to me the top baby girl names like Sopia, Emma, Olivia, Ella, Sarah, and Abigail are old-fashioned names - they are just really popular so no one looks at them as old-fashioned anymore. I have always been drawn to older names but now that I'm having children my lifelong favorites that my friends used to make fun of me over are now their kids names! So, I'm now going even further out of the box and looking for something pretty and feminine but a bit different. Some on my list that I like are Millicent, Evelyn and Genevieve. (you can see what I mean) I'm still trying to find the one name that I love - do you know of any different old-fashioned names that are not super popular?

I would like details on how to wash it, what to use on it, etc. It would also be nice to tell me what makeup would be good for my skin. Please include specific products. I have dry skin with some red blotches and whiteheads. It isn't oily, and I never get the normal red, big blemishes. Also, I have one red dot on my face that looks almost like a blemish but I know it's not. It doesn't hurt at all, and it's not a wart. Any ideas?

The cars I want aren't expensive and I am willing to pay half. It isn't really a money problem in my family. My sister and I are getting to the point where we are going to need to get a car to back and forth from swimming because practice is 30 minutes away and during high school season we will be at different pools. I'm just curious if there are any ways to ween my parents onto letting us get a car. This is a bit of a long story, but please bear with me. I've been homeschooled most of my life, and thus my emotions were somewhat different and my behavior was quite different from those around me once I was in a social setting. My behavior is modeled after what provides the most benefit for me or whomever I care about, while my emotions are based on whatever is convenient in the social setting I'm currently in. I act the way I think will make things better, and I know exactly what I'm doing. When I was 16 I enrolled in college (another long story), and at the end of my 2nd semester I met a girl. We were merely friends for a time, until the night before finals week I texted her (after leaving her for the day because we were hanging out) that I should have "kissed her goodnight". This began a relationship that made me so curious.. I'm feeling emotions and having thoughts I never have before. I'm a psychology major.. Its in my freakin job description to understand stuff. And I can't understand this at all. This girl.. This amazing girl.. Looks past all my problems and flaws, and sees something deep inside me that nobody else seems to. Is this what love is? Is love meant to be understood? We've been going out for a solid month and a half now or so now and I feel that this may be the elusive thing I've been missing out on: Love. When I'm around her, I have no choice but to smile, and neither does she. We just seem to be so perfect for each other, and we accept each others flaws. She has no problem with me being 16, or with the long list of emotion issues I have. We just seem to be so in touch with each other, and in tune with each others needs. Is love something I'm meant to understand and figure out, like the long list of psychological disorders and terms I know so well from classes? Or is love something so inexplicable that one must experience it before even beginning to describe it? This girl finds the best in me, and seems to think she's the lucky one. But she's the princess while I'm the farmer just trying to get by. I guess at the root of it all, the real question is: Is this love?

Four and a half years ago I was charged with DUI. I failed the roadside test by one hundredth or 0.09 I blew, and I blew .07 on the State's desk model breathalyzer at the jail. Basically I was told I passed at jail, I was bonded out shortly there after, and I was never given a court date. Now-four and a half years later, today I get a letter in the mail from that county I grew up in, since then, my father-who resided there, has passed away-I am married with a family, have a good job, and do not even smoke any more. It says the court date is in four days and I didn't have time to prepare or anything-I don't even remember the "fine" details to properly defend myself. What should I do, and is this common? Thanks

So I have bootcamp installed on my Mac. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to actually use it now that it's installed. I'm trying to download League Of Legends onto my bootcamp. It's only letting me download it as a text file, and it becomes a bunch of pages of gibberish. I'm not sure how to download it into Boot Camp? Or am I supposed to be in Boot Camp somehow? I'm super confused. Thanks!

In the beggining of may I got tested for stds and everything came back normal, I had sex with this guy unprotected though he pulled out on the 27th of may then again on the second of june. Acuple days ago I experiance a slight itching sensation in between the labia and not its blistery and itching and burning really bad and I fear it could be herpes. I recently had an infection with with my urithra aka UTI that was about a week ago. I was thinking it was from that but I am not sure. I will make a dr apointment tomorrow but I wanted to know could this be something els or does this definitely sound like herpes? My partner said he was clean and gets checked every year so I'm hoping this is just some rash and not herpes

Is there any real basis for there being a genetic predisposition towards aberrant behavior? Can criminality be understood outside the context of of environment? I have heard that violent criminals inside prisons are more likely to have a genetic or chromosomal disorder that makes them more likely to be violent criminals. But these same criminals almost all have something horrible (abuse,molestation,and so on) in their backgrounds too. I have also heard that plenty of people have these genetic violence markers, but don't become violent if they were raised in a normal, healthy environment. Of course plenty of people come from horrible and abusive backgrounds and grow to be normal healthy adults. What about addiction? Everyone that has a glass of wine doesn't become an alcoholic, but some do. Children of addicts are more likely to be addicts themselves, but is that genes or environment?

Ok so I know its against the law for someone 18+ to fight someone younger than 18, but is it against the law to, for example, if a minor(17 or so) is instigating you(18) and comes at you to put said minor into a submissive hold until police arrive or the minor decides to leave you alone. I have asked this question twice before and now I can weed out some info. I have static sounds coming from my left rear and center speakers from my surround sound speaker system. This system is a Samsung system which was pretty high end about 4 years ago. There was a huge tornado that came through here about a week ago which I thought was the problem but I do have all my electronics plugged into a pretty high end surge protector. I don't play the system too loud since I live in an apartment building. I have looked at the connections and they seem fine. Any ideas?
