MEDIA ADVISORY: Farm Bureau Flood Meeting set for Aug. 25 in Melstone

WHO: Area farmers & ranchers affected by the 2011 flooding and adverse weather events are invited to attend.

WHAT: Musselshell County Farm Bureau is hosting a flood information and work group meeting for area farmers and ranchers in collaboration with the following government agencies: USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA), USDA Natural Resources & Conservation Service (NRCS) and the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC).

WHERE: Melstone School Lunch Room, Melstone, Montana

WHEN: Thursday, August 25, 2011 from 1:30 - 5:30 p.m.

WHY: Agriculture producers are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to find out about available assistance for flood recovery, options to help with irrigation and clean up, as well as government requirements necessary to repair your structures.
