Hi I'm 16 and on a bit of a budget and I severely need to buy a new computer. I'm well versed in the way of the PC, I know how to judge a PC based on RAM, CPU and the likes, but one thing I cannot quite get my head around is the GPU I understand what a decent GPU is but I'm not sure how to judge a GPU without testing it myself. The computer I want to get doesn't really need to be too powerful but I want to at least be able to play some decent games on it. It has to be at least Dual-Core with 2GB of RAM minimum. My Budget is £300 and I have been searching for PCs on here: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/refurbished-pcs/706_7367_70456_xx_xx/xx-criteria.html I'm not going to use any other site because this one is the easiest for me, as there is a PC world a few miles away from me, and there is a 12 month guarantee. Could someone please look at the PCs on this site and tell me which one is most suitable for me? BTW the games I'm interested in playing are along the lines of: TF2 Minecraft Magicka Portal 1 COD4 Maybe Elder Scroll IV

Hey (: Ok so , I know this sounds stupid but I'm going to my first disco in a few weeks and I don't know what to expect. I'm going with my two friends who are both younger than me & have been to many disco's before, I'm a school year older than them both & I can't ask them what it's like because I've already told them I've been to one before , and I'm not gonna admit that I haven't because it's embarassing xD Anyway , I'm Irish if that helps? Probably won't but anyway :L My friend says guys just come over and kiss you? If that's not true then oops xD But I wanna be prepared for anything that may happen, she says her friends even got fingered at these disco's :L Obviously I'm not gonna be that slutty and do anything like that xD So if any of you have been to one then please tell me what actually happens :) 10 points for best answer , thanks !

I used up the battery power so my laptop shut down automatically, the light went orange. So I charged it. Fully charged I switched it on and it wouldn't go to the desktop, instead it goes to the welcome screen and stays there. If I press any key it goes back to the very first screen that shows the laptop brand msi, toshiba etc. then goes to the welcome screen again. If I don't press any key it just stays on the welcome screen. Thanks

my dog is a chihuahua and it usually it doesn't let anyone pick her up unless its cornered. But now all of a sudden it just wants to be around me. it scratches my bedroom door to let her in. and she paces really quick to be around me???

I'm interested in this Latino guy and I'm not sure if the affection and touching he's been giving me have mainly been flirtation or simply his affectionate nature due to his background. If this man were american, I'd have NO doubt he was interested in me. Two primary actions he's done that make it seems like he's doing a bit more than friendly include: squishing my love handle as he walked by me and lightly touching my stomach. These occuree on separate occasions but he clearly stopped for a second to do these actions. What do you think?

Who is in the brain of the little you pulling his or her strings (etc, etc, etc,)? If the buck CAN stop at this little guy in your head why can't the buck stop at your head itself? i.e. Brain functioning ALONE (not 'creating' experience BEING experience) Why presume a 'spooky force' is even necessary. Especially when there is zero evidence at all that this spooky force is even real! To say 'It MUST be' needs justification.

I downloaded Virtual Villagers and then I downloaded AVG 2011. AVG said that it had a virus but even though it said it got rid of it, I still couldn't go on it. I bought some things at my job during lunch, thought I had one more check but was out. Fortunately, I had a $20 bill so I paid with that. The cashier told me, "You need to always have some cash with you in case the system goes down for several hours." Not necessarily just the electricity going off but the system being interrupted for some reason, such as hackers, a glitch in the system or seasonal buying overload. It got me to thinking, if there was such as beast as a cashless society, how would such glitches be dealt with? It wouldn't just affect stores but anything that uses the system such as airports, gas stations, toll booths, vending machines, etc.

I'm not a loser, so please, so vile comments. It's been a long 27 years. With two ailing parents on either side of the country, I've been going back and forth for years to try and help them. I have a BA in environmental administration, but it's been hell trying to get a job in that department because I "don't have enough experience", which seems circular, since I need a job to get experience in the first place. To try and get this experience, I've been doing volunteer work, but I can't afford to keep doing that. I'm 27 years old; I feel like an idiot as it is. I don't mooch off of my parents, even going so far as to living on $50 a week. But I need a real job and since most people won't hire me because I "don't have experience"...this is hell. Any ideas besides telling me to get my act together? Life can start late, not everything starts at the age of 18 for everyone. Thanks.
