I'm wanting to buy 'Sheercover duo concealer' off ebay, but it has the TM logo after 'Sheercover', and usually this product uses the ® logo. Does this mean that it is not original? And if I buy one which has the ® logo, is that more likely to be real? I read something about ® meaning registered trademark and TM is unregistered... but I'm still unsure what it all means.

I'm a crazy girl, I like to dream crazy things and I've always wanted to become a voice actor and get involved in voice over. I know I can give it a shot and work hard to at least try it! But people around me don't agree. They say things like, it puts too much pressure on you, only 1 in a million can do it, it'll take too much work! I don't mind it much, since it keeps me linked to reality along the way but lately, I've been doubting if I can really try it. SSI denied my claim in July, I never received notice neither did my atty. My Atty called them yesterday and then called me. He faxed an appeal letter last night after we spoke. This morning at 7:40 the SSI dept called me to ask about this. I let them know I didn't get a letter or the atty. Isn't there a fine they have to pay for holding up my being able to appeal in a timely manner?

i would like to know, if possible, how exactly the law system works in england, and by that i mean the land of the english and the language itself. as with colonialism/expansionism, there comes the changing/introducing or governmental systems, usually reflecting that of the motherland, which in regard to the british empire, nearly all of its former colonies utilise common law, the united states, ireland, india and hong kong are examples. it seems, that every government conquers by the other nations in europe, especially that aquired by napoleon, have used civic law on their colonies, which is why louisiana and quebec (both former french possesions) have different systems compared to the us and canada respectivly. cival law was the reason why the eu laws were easier to pass on mainland europe as their systems are so alike, yet in the uk and ireland, they keep having conflicts. the sovergnity of the isle of man is a lovely example, as despite it being in the uk, it is not in the eu, as it has its own parliment (the tynwald - oldest parliment in the world apparently) and laws. look at this map: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/21/LegalSystemsOfTheWorldMap.png and nearly every single country coloured in red were british at some point, many are still in the commonwealth. enough of the background. i would like to know how the ENGLISH law system works, the scotish parliment is seperate, as their common law and our common law systems are differnt, plus they have their own elective assembly which is somewhat based on parliament. if laws in the country are introduced through parliment in acts, like the the computer misuse act ot the terrorism act, and under the common law system, the courts create the law - which gives them more power over the government. under this, how is the law enforced, if common law has more authority, or are the parlimentary acts just a guide for the judical courts. and also, is common law still change, added too, and examples of which. thank you.

First of all thanks for reading my post. I have some questions and confusion and I hope I can get some good answers from you. I am 30 year old lady. I completed my B.com with 49% in 2002 & M.com with 42% in 2009. As I belonged to typical middle class family where girls get no freedom, I wasn't much career oriented. I started my career soon after graduation with mediocre jobs like tele marketing, admin and customer care. Then I worked with one educational institute as counselor for 2 year. I then got married, but got divorced soon. Now I don't have any family support so I want to build my career so in the long run I can support myself financially. I know its too late as I am already 30 but I still think of doing MBA so that it can add value to my career. I have no capacity to clear CAT or GCET nor I am eligible for it as I have less than 50 % in B.com. Also I don't have money to do expensive MBA from institute like IIM. So I am planning to do distance learning MBA from Sikkim Manipal University. They are providing weekend classes in their learning centre. Now I have the following questions: 1) Is the MBA from Sikkim Manipal UGC recognised and AICTE approved. Its website states that it is UGC recognised and is recognised by directorate or distance learning education. But nowhere it states that it is AICTE approved. 2) I called them and they said that I will get master degree on successful completion of course and if I score more than 65% then I can be eligible to do Ph.d in India or abroad on the basis of the degree. So can I trust them on this? 3) Most important question --- The fees incl. tution fees is total Rs. 76500 (approx). So my question is - is it worth doing MBA from this institute at the age of 30 (being a female) with no significant work experience and is it worth spending this much amount of money. 4) I called them and they claim that it is number one insitute in India in distance learning. Can I trust them on this? 5) How this MBA degree will help in my career and what are the possible scopes? 6) As I have always done mediocre jobs I can't decide what major I should select, I don't want to select marketing for sure, so now in which I can have more scope - Finance or HR. I hope I can get quick help on this Thank you very much.

I need/want to drop from a size 8 dress to a size 6. But I have to do it by the end of November so I have about 2 months and a half or so. I've only been skipping and I don't see much difference. I'm 49kg and 5"2 and i reallly reallllyyyy want to be 45kg. I have BIGGGG THIGHS and I want to rid them so badly same with my belly. There's also some fat hanging down my arms. say your walking to the shops with your friend, and this guy is walking towards you, he stares at you with a dreamy look in his eyes, then when your heading back home from the shops you hear someone walking quite fast behind you, you turn around and its that same guy, he stares at you as you turn your head around, he walks quite close behind you for quite a bit then over takes. As he walks ahead of you he keeps running his fingers through his hair over and over again like he's nervous, he walks off quite fast. Then you see him again over a month later your in the car with your mum, he has his head down then he looks up straight at you stares with that same dreamy look them gives you a big closed mouth smile, you didnt smile back because you were in shock that he smiled. you didnt realise it was the same guy until i went past him because he was wearing the same jacket. would you be wondering why he remembered you when he has only seen you once and why he smiled like that? would you think that you might know each other from school or something but you just dont recognize him?

and my heart rate stayed right around 38 beats per minute and when the doctors woke me up my heart rate still didn't go no higher than 40 beats per minute then the nurse who was with me in the recovery room got the doctor back in there and she told him my heart rate was like that during the surgery and then he gave me a shot in my i.v. and my heart rate jumped up to 110 just as fast then went back to normal.i guess my question is why would my heart do that? was that normal? ive never been put to sleep before but ive got to have another surgery coming up this week and now im terrified to go thru with it so any info would be greatly appreciated.
