[ Entertaining ] Open Question : Hugeee party tonight, & I have a booze question.?

So my friend's parents are out tonight, and she's planning on having a party. Ten of her closest friends are in charge of bringing booze; this way, each person only needs to bring a little. I'm one of them. She's trusting me to make sure nothing goes wrong, because everything is her responsibility. My dad is a collector, & he's got about 50 bottles of different kinds of wine. The problem is, he's only got like 10 bottles of the kind of liquor I'm required to bring. I can't get alcohol anywhere else; I'm underage, and this is my best bet. I know how to get the alcohol, so that's not my question. My question is, what are some excuses I could use in case he finds out I've taken a couple bottles of vodka? I'm a huge daddy's girl, so if he finds out, he'll murder me. And don't tell me it's wrong for an underage girl to be stealing her daddy's alcohol. I honestly don't care what you think. I just need an excuse, in case he finds out and suspects I did it. Thanks! :)

I want to have a halloween party but I have never hosted a party before so I am rather scared incase no one comes, however, lots of people seem interested, I plan to put the even privately on facebook so I can clearly see who says yes and no as if less that 40 people come I probably wont have it, now can you give me some advice most of the people here will be 16/20, what tips could I do to make it good I plan to decorate it crazily we have an amazing stereo and a hot tub so I could implement them into the party, what dos and donts should I consider? :)) thank you for all your answers I really appreciate it :D xx

Hi folks, I have a xbox account and I am good player too. I was in Canada for 6 months studying english, I think I got a good english, now back to my country (by the way I am from mexico) I have been looking a way to practice all the english I learn, but It is really difficult, because I have no time, my university keeps me busy, so I was thinking, I like to play xbox on weekends and it would be great to have a canadian xbox player to practice my english, the problem is that all my friends I met in canada are not from canada. So If someone likes to play xbox and speaking at the same time, give me gamertags, perhaps I go back to canada but I really need to speak in english again. i'm using HTML to wirte some code in HTML, there is a form, inside a form there's a textbox (called MSISDN) must be filled, after submit, HTML page must pass the MSISDN value to eternal vb script, i defined object to run the vbs file called oshell, and executed the below: oshell.run "script.vbs MSISDN" and in the vbs file i wrote a code to read the variable as below: Set ObjArgs = WScript.Arguments Set object = GetObject(ObjArgs(1)) MsgBox object Nothing happend !!!! may be this is a wrong way to pass variable, simply my question is: What is the correct way to pass a variable from HTML page to External VBScript ????

There's this guy I've known and been really close to for the last four years, and I really don't like his girlfriend. I don't have any feelings for him, but I still care about him. I can tell this girl doesn't really care about him, considering how many times they've broken up between now and fourth grade, the first year she came to our school. And the reason I want to break them up is because she's doing really bad things to him, like he's tried smoking weed with her, and they've...done certain things. I really do care about him and so do my other friends, and we hate them together. I want the old him back. Please help!

If you aren't mormon, thank you for taking the time to click on this question, but I would really like just mormon answers. If you are here to bash my religion, then please go away because I don't want to hear it. So.........my friend committed suicide awhile back. He didn't seem depressed at all so it came as quite a shock. Anyways, his family read his journal posts to me (after he had passed on, of course) and apparently he just felt like he was all alone. He said that he prayed every night that he would not wake up in the morning. He said that life was just to overwhelming and his future looked even more difficult. He said no one ever asked him how he was feeling and that made him sad. He said he knew people loved him but that they could move past this. He said that he wanted to kill himself and that when he prayed he didn't even ask for god to help him feel happy because he just wanted an excuse to end it all. ("Oh look, god didn't help me, I guess no help is available so I better off myself") I read somewhere that god judges suicidal people by their circumstances......but the thing I'm curious about is that he PLANNED his suicide. It wasn't just spur of the moment type thing. He actually had it planned months ahead of time. I am just wondering.....if he PLANNED it..........does that make him more likely to be condemned then if it was just spur of the moment? Thanks for you answers, have a nice day

I go to Townsend Harris, one of the most challenging schools in NY and I also have to juggle religious studies and prayer, volunteering at the hospital and an SAT class (2-3 hours weekdays, 5-6 hours weekends). I am taking AP classes and honors classes plus I have to do afterschool clubs. How can I do this all at the same time without killing myself or failing?? (btw, the reason I mentioned American is because most american kids dont have vigorous religious lessons like I do, they mostly just have to focus on their school work and social lives) oh yeah, and if possible, how can I maintain a social life as well?

Cliché question much? I'm currently a sophomore in high school and pretty clueless as what to wear. Although I'm not too big on impressing people (guys in particular) there happens to be a guy I'm interested in. I find dressing differently just for a guy is pretty lame.. but here I am, requesting your help. I'm into floral, tribal & other cute designs. I'm looking for cute dresses, banded skirts w/ cute tops tucked in, adorable shirts to wear with jeans, ect. The only problem is that I'm no good at finding these things. Especially online. It's still pretty hot where I live, but I assume as the month goes on, the temperatures will soon decrease. Also, I'm going to be attending a majority of the football games, so if you could add cute outfits to wear to a game (but I don't want to be in sweats, I'd like to look presentable and attractive..), that would be swell. I appreciate every comment. Links would be greatly appreciated as well. As an added note: I'm not the richest person. Actually, I'm nowhere close. So therefore, I cannot afford super duper expensive clothing items. Another note, I mainly shop at American Eagle & Forever 21 these days. Sooo. Yeah. So on a school day, on 6:55am near a high school, I was given a ticket for running a red light. An officer claims I ran a red light even though I could not have stopped through that intersection because if I did then I would have been hit. Now the questionable part is that I'm sixteen years old, and I look very young most people assume I'm at the most twelve years old. I have never been pulled over when I drive with my parents in the front seat, but this morning I was alone. I needed to borrow the car that day, so I drove my father to work that day. On my way home, a police officer pulled me over when I was near a high school at 6:55am, she asked for my identification and while she had it in her hand she was looking at it very intently and asked me what my age was, where I came from and nothing else. She never once asked directly if I thought I did anything wrong. She then went back into her car and when she came out she told me she was giving me a ticket for running a red light and told me that she was giving me a ticket and that this was a "warning" and that I need to stop driving "dangerously". Even though other cars went at that exact same time as me. I was also in a short car driving behind a semi so my view was slightly obstructed. My parents and I suspect that she just thought I was driving without a license and to save face gave me a false ticket. I live in Texas, is there anything I can do?

i've noticed lately that i might have a bit of a paranoia problem. especially when it comes to relationships. i have GAD to the max. and, when i care about people, that's amplified. i am a rational, logical person in general. but, sometimes i can't help but think that everyone is out to get me. one of my friends finally met this guy i've been seeing. and now, they're instantly becoming friends. it worries me. and i can't help but think that something is up. i'd hope that neither one of them would want to hurt me. but it seems like they might be interested in eachother. when i was younger, my best friend ended up dating this guy i was talking to for 6 months. it destroyed me. it's been 8 years and i haven't talked to either of them since. i don't know if what i'm feeling is a result of that, if there really is something going on, or if i have some type of paranoid personality issue. someone please help. and by this, i mean, people that WANT to help.. not people that want to be rude. thank you.

I'm trying to find a book I read when I was younger. I was talking about it to a friend of mine and I can't for the life of me remember what it was called - or exactly what it was fully about. The protagonist was a boy. I believe they were visiting or on vacation on an alien planet and he ventures past the bounadries and encounters the aliens who don't quite like him. He is trying to escape but they keep finding him...or at least that is what I remember of the book. This was probably over ten plus years ago. If anyone remembers, or can think of a book that was kind of like that, would you please leave me the answer?

I usually get my period every 4 weeks, but it has now been 5 almost 6 weeks and I still havent had it. Right before my last period, I moved out for the first time to go to college, so I've been going through some big changes - new roommates, new town, new school, new job. I know stress can affect your period, I don't feel like I've been that stressed, but maybe I have because of all these changes? I also have been eating a little differently since I moved, probably because my mom isn't cooking for me anymore. I haven't had as many home-cooked or healthy meals, and I probably eat less often. But I haven't had any significant weight gain or loss? Could this affect my period? I also started a jogging class so I've been excercising regularly when I hadn't before, if that matters. Also, my boyfriend and I had sex about a week ago for the first time (after my period was already late). We used a condom, he pulled out, and we didn't do it for very long. We checked the condom during, and also after by filling it with water and there were no leaks or anything. But now my period is very late which is not normal for me..I'm 20 years old btw. I've taken 3 pregnancy tests and they all came out negative. Could I be pregnant, or is it normal to miss a period??

One of my best friends is in a polygamous relationship. She & her boyfriend are in a relationship with another couple. The 2 girls are in a relationship together but the 2 guys are on/off. The girls obviously love each other but they also love their boys. She says that her relationships are more like 2 separate monogamous relationships. As in, she is in a relationship with her boyfriend & her girlfriend is not included in that relationship. Just the same she has another separate relationship with her girlfriend in which her boyfriend is not included. They all seem to love each other & the guys have no problem with it. (No they do not get to watch/join in the girls' sex either) So given that they seem to have a relationship that works very well for them & they've been in this relationship for quite a few years, 7 I believe. Now, I don't have a problem with it but I was just wondering what other people thought. Do you think a relationship like this could work out in the long run?

I just started high school my first year and its horrible. I am currently 17 and I have been driving for nearly a year. I recently moved to Texas 2 weeks ago, I came from Arizona. I wernt to change my AZ drivers licenses to a TX licenses 3 times and all 3 times they rejected to issue me a TX licenses. I was born in chicago, I met all their requirements (social, birthcertif, VOE..etc) BUT the DMV said that I need to show them a certificate of completion of drivers education school. In arizona it is NOT required to even take any drivers education class. They said I would have to RETAKE my written test, wait 6 MONTHS, and then schedule for a road test which would take ANOTHER 2 months. I will turn 18 in august of 2012, and I will be off for college BUT i need to show that I have been in Texas for a year before being taken as in-state student, but I cannot do so if I do not have a licenses to prove so. That means I would have to WAIT until im 19 to even start applying for college or be taken in as an out-of-state for 4 years. Everyone I have talked to said they were issued their licenses quick and easy and they all are under 18, and they have never taken a drivers education school. SO I WAS JUST WONDERING IS IT REQUIRED BY TEXAS TO HAVE COMPLETED A DRIVERS EDUCATION SCHOOL UNDER THE AGE OF 18 TO CHANGE STATES ON MY LICENESE.
