basically ive been bad in the fact that id eat about 800 calories a day... i went from 280 to 197. now i hear about this starvation mode crap and i dont want get fat again so i started increasing my calories slowly will i gain weight doing this? im a 5ft11 guy if that helps

My white snail died. I just saw this white stringy stuff, and then I went to go get it out, and I hit my snail, and that plasticy looking thing fell out. So he is dead. He was kind of active at first. I think the guy who gave him to me killed him basically. When he picked it up, he slammed it in to the bag. I actually heard it go 'thunk'. I am really sad.

Im usually a quite and shy person at school. But after some periods of time off school like duringsummer holidays or half-term, the first day back im like more pumped up and more confident to raise my voice & look up at class and speak to my friends. But the next days im back again....to my usual state..too nervous to lift my head up in class.or to raise my voice or talk to anyone & have low confidence. I don't know why this happens. I don't have that many friends maybe like 5 i talk to. Or maybe life at school makes me sad. At home in normal i can concentrate can do anything. But at school during class i can't even understand or remember anything taught most of the time and i think my 'nervous low confidence'. And when i go home to assess myself what is wrong with me, i can't seem to access my mind. It is as if my mind is locked and is blank, i can't think of anything, i can't solve problems or do anything properly, i have poor memory. I don't enjoy school it's boring & it just makes me depressed:( what can i do to increase my concentration in class and be focused?

I quite like this guy - we're friendly with eachother, and lately he's been doing some things that I don't completely understand. This week has been our first week back at school to sixth form - we're 16. We have photography class together, and he and I stayed later as we both had a free period after. He'd already done his film reel in the dark, and asked if I needed help to load my film reel. I told him yes, and he switched off the lights. I was all okay with it, and then suddenly he was behind me, and stroking my back and arm while I loaded the film. It wasn't entirely that awful - he's a really attractive, and cute guy. So I just let him do it - is that wrong? He is quite touchy-feely with people sometimes, and he does flirt a lot. But never like this. Also, he always smiles at me, and teases me. What I don't get is, he once said I was 'so cute' - not gorgeous/sexy but now he's feeling me up in the darkroom? And, he told me and my friend the other day, that he would 'do' our photography teacher - who is a guy, but then he and I had a long facebook chat discussion, and he was teasing me about liking the teacher, then I asked him if he was serious about liking guys, and told me 'of course not', with a sad face.

Okay, so there's this guy that I sit next to in my study hall, and some days we talk other days we don't, I don't know why. I'm shy when it comes to guys that I like so I have a hard time starting a conversation, so we only talk when he starts the conversation. I don't know why but whenever I want to say something I always get nervous. Whenever we do talk tho, we laugh and joke a lot. I don't know why sometimes he talks to me and other times he doesn't. But, two days ago I came in to class a minute or two late and he was over by where his friend sits talking to him, and we hadn't talked the day before because we both had a lot of work. So I thought he was just going to sit with his friend but, then he sees me and he comes and sits next to me. Sometimes I can tell that he's about to talk but then he just stops, I don't know why he does that tho. I really need help, he's always on his phone to so I never know if I should talk to him while he's on it or not. I feel stupid asking this since I'm a junior but I just always get so nervous to start a conversation. What would be a good way to start a conversation?

But another thing is that i do a full body workout with weights every 2 and a half days which excludes abbs. I've been working on computers for over 15 years and I have a problem that even I can't fix. I had some MP4 files in a folder on my desktop that played fine with VLC media player. I decided to move them to my external drive and rename them. Not change the file extension, just change the file name. After I did this they wont play in VLC. I thought about converting them to AVI to see if that would work but haven't tried it yet. Can anyone offer a solution for this? Thanks in advance.

Hey :) I'm totally psyched because I'm going to see all time low/the Maine/we are the in crowd in February :D the only thing is I can't seem to find how long it will be! it starts at 7pm and because there are 3 acts I think it will be a bit longer than the short concerts I've been to before... I understand why lightning bugs need to be bright to attract mates, but for some bioluminescent fungi like Jack O Lantern mushrooms where wind might be the primary spore dispersal, why would they be bioluminescent?

I am 18 i can not live with my mom and brother anymore, they are impossible... i cant handle it. i cant live with my dad because he wont allow me to stay at his house when i have my own house to stay at, im not getting a lot of child support because my moms house is big. i have a daughter, she will stay at her dads and staying with him is not an option... but there is to much yelling and loud noises to keep a four month old in my moms house, she cant tell my brother to be quiet and my mom always yells at me for HER dumb mistakes. where can i go if i dont have any freinds who CAN take me in
