With all the theories and diets and new work-out plan fads, isn't the bare bones of weight loss simply a "Calories in to Calories out" ratio? I understand that certain sports may require specialty training exercises and building muscle also requires a slightly different approach...but for simple weight loss...simple, non-complicated weight loss, I thought it was "use more calories than you take in and you lose weight". It takes me about 75 mins on a treadmill at a brisk walk easy jog to burn 475-500 calories. Some people say that because I am not heart-pounding out of breath that this will have no benefit. So what is it? Does the intensity and type of exercise affect weight loss if the calories burned remains the same? ie: 20 mins hard run (heart pounding breathing hard) 475 cals or ie:60 mins light jog, (moderate heart rate, moderate breathing) 475 cals Whats the difference?

Okay it sounds really stupid but today, my teacher offered a retake for an advanced algebra test which I scored a 79% on. I wish I've done better because tests are 100% of my grade in that class. It was SUPER hard and tricky. I studied my butt off for that test and I ran out of time and couldn't finish. But he's playing a mind game right now, he said we can retake the test and that score will replace the old one, but if the new score is lower, too bad. & the retake is going to be harder, and trickier. Should I go big or go home?

we were loving each other for about 3yrs. she works in a bpo & myself in telecom sector. i don't wish to send her to work but for her wish i accepted and i usually i tell her to avoid friends in boys to avoid problems as we all know about bpo guys. this i tell her abt yrs,.. now from past 4months many fights came between us due to some misunderstandings. now suddenly she told tat lets break up. she said i want to concentrate in my mba and have to look my family till i marry u. i said i cant live without u, bec i love her to the core... and we had many many intercourses these yrs. and finally wat she said is, atleast wait for me for 2yrs.. till i comp my mba and my family welfare. i wil talk to u once in a month and will not meet me... and i know tat she has friiends both in boys and girls in her office and she hides tat from me... friends, i will die without her... i cant pass a day without her... everything reminds me her. even my room, bike, places on t way to my office... 1) -i need her , or 2) -i want to die. pls give me ideas on both... i will go mental like with this matter it seems.....

So i like this guy, and I decided to try and make him a bit jealous because he tries to do it to me I THINK.. idk... ok but I sit next to this guy and I flirt, and we poke each other with pencils and like all that stuff. Everyone keeps asking me if im dating him, I dont like him though! :( my crush looks at me and gives me a sad face and i mean his blue eyes are like about to cry but not like emotional cry but like inside he is breaking, he stares at me, during tests he glances, and i look at each other for a few seconds and we looks away. I love him, and his girlfriend just broke up with him like a few days ago but he was looking at me like that before. I'm not a hoarder but I'm definitely a good candidate for that show Consumed. I was wondering if anyone has a good idea how much it costs to get a person like that to come help you sort it and get rid of what you don't want/need (not necessarily by removing it all at once like the show since that must cost a lot to do). I live in Canada, if that affects costs (probably does but I don't know how). Anyone have any good idea how much that kind of thing costs? Thanks!

So for example, to give you a better understanding of what I'm talking about.. I tried to upload some specific photos. I have a lot of photos so without being able to see what they are in the documents "my pictures" window.. I can't really figure out which one to upload unless I right click and preview it first.. and yes it is in thumbnail mode.. but all it does (In the case of all my file types) Is show a picture of the default program that it opens with instead of a thumbnail of the content. Please help me, this is really annoying and I'm sure it's a simple fix.

My fiance's mother died about a month ago and He was very upset by it. I gave him the space he needed and he seems to be doing better however... His personality has changed somewhat. He's more possessive of me like he doesn't want to leave me alone with people. I get that he's still grieving over his mother but his personality change is starting to worry me. Besides the possessiveness he's starts fights with people with little to no reason. Like fist fights. I've asked him what's wrong and what he wants to do but he just stays silent and continues to fight with everyone. What can I do to help him? I love him dearly and I just want him to be happy.

I have had my cat for about 13 months now. Shortly after getting her we brought home another from the same rescue center. Lately my cat has been puking the minute she's done eating. Not all the time but lately it's been often. I took her to the vet and he said her stomach and vitals are fine, he saw nothing that would be of concern. She's still doing it though. I know the other cat does chase around a lot but, Darla is trying to play and Patches takes it as bullying I think cause every time Darla tries to chase her Patches hisses, and Darla just sits there dumbfounded. Other times Darla is Bullying her though. Could that be it? Could it be the stress of that and what she I do?
