Congratulations to all you race runners! Great job!!!!!!
I STILL haven't been able to meet/run with you guys as I've been
having ankle problems :(
Quick question for anyone who has time to answer....I bought a new
pair of running shoes about a month ago at Jack Rabbit, they checked
out my stride etc etc. and I was pretty thrilled with the new kicks
but since wearing them I've started having big issues with ankle pain.
My speed did spike considerably from about 10.5 to 9.5/10 and I was
psyched as I started running further faster and saw real progress in
my routine...however the ankle pain got so bad on one foot that it
flared up while i was running to catch a train and had me limping the
rest of the day..on the advice of a few friends I've stopped running
'till it feels better which SUCKS! It hurts when I go down stairs and
after a week of rest I went for a run the other day and it flared up
again instantly...I'm heartbroken as only JUST got to a good pace and
started seeing real progress in my running routine...
I still have my old shoes...should I use them next time I run instead
and ditch the new ones or is it just a getting used to a new pair of
shoes thing?
Any advice would be massively appreciated, fairly new to running and
sadly have no cash for a PT at the moment...Thanks so much guys you
are AWESOME!
