Ok so, here's the situation... I have a friend tht is a girl. Known her for 3 years, I believe tht we are very close, we talk almost every day (text and Facebook) and for the last 7-8 months or so, I've been telling her tht I missed her and tht we needed to spend together now, I have gone to visit her at work a couple times, but tht dosent last no more then 10 minets at the most! Basically she keeps telling me not to worry about and that we will hang out. Every time I bring this up, she says the same dam thing, "we will we will" now remember, this has been going on for quite awhile, 8 months tops. And for tht whole 8 months, NOTHING has happened, but yet one of her cousins can come along and set up a date and bam, it's official. I don't understand. Why is she not doing anything?? She's not tht busy, she does have a part time job, no boyfriend... I don't get it... And this is a friend who refers to me as her "2nd brother". Tht right there screams "friend zone" I know. Basically, I'm just so wore out... Tired of not getting any results, so I ask you.. What should I do? Do I keep trying and hope tht eventually she'll get around to it? Or do I just give up all together... I personally feel she has no real interest, and she just says all things just to string me along... But idk. What stopping her??? What do you guys think? Input is greatly appreciated :) thanks for reading.

My family is so messed up. all we do is fight, everyday my older brother harasses me (he's a loner at school so he takes up all his anger on me. he insults me and that's all he says. all he does is mess up the house, eat all the food, watch t.v., hang by himself and get bad grades) and my dad's always screaming at him and calling him retarded. i have a mom who's always yelling too and saying i need to lose weight (i'm not that fat) and she's just so controlling and annoying. plus i have a younger spoiled brother who acts like he's the biggest sh*t by demanding that my parents buy him toys while i'm stuck with no clothes and everything. im also unhappy with myself too becuz i feel so ugly and gross and my friends like to joke around with me about my weight. i lost a lot of weight actually ( i'm 5`7 and 140) but they always call me fat and retarded. sometimes my mom tries to be nice but she comes across as sarcastic and annoying. like for example i'm saying something that really bothers me at school like, "my friend keeps calling me fat and she's so ugly herself" and she's like, "uh you think YOUR attractive?" and im like, "no but still" and she's like, "WELLLL it's true tho...." and im like, "wtf" to myself and then i start yelling at her. i'm mean to but it's because im so resentful and im always screaming at my family and i feel bad afterwards =/. whenever i apologize my mom's like, "well you should u stupid b*tch. what kind of shit is this?" so i don't bother

My mother claims my guy friend likes me. I guess I know where she's coming from but I'm not so sure. What do you think? We crack dirty jokes a lot. Nothing suggestive at all, just random little stories (like, about celebrities having affairs for example) and informal things. But there's this one thing he says that cracks me up everytime. He gets really close to me and just says it and I burst out laughing everytime. One time my shoe lace got caught on his chair (one of those rolling chairs with wheels) and when he tried to move, my shoe got caught on his pant leg. While we were trying to get untangled, someone made a crack that it looked like we were undressing each other. We cracked up laughing and he turned red (I probably turned red too) and we never mentioned it again. So I'm thinking that person thinks we flirt. Once when I was in the school computer lab and we were sitting next to each other, he got up to get something. Naturally I use his empty chair as a foot rest. When he got back he pushed my feet off and said, "Why do you always do that?" And I said, "I like the foot rest." And he laughed and was like "Then just put your feet up on me." Fooling around, I did on his knee and he cracked up laughing and was rolling back and forth because I would end up moving with him. The more I think of this the more I realise I was flirting but at the moment we were kidding and joking. And one time we were hanging out at the mall with some friends. I had to go and everyone was like "Bye! See you at school!" They were on the second floor and I had to meet my mum who was on the first. They saw me meeting with her, and my mum asked them to come downstairs because she wanted to know if one of my friends needed a ride. They came downstairs. He went straight to my mum and put out his hand right away and said, "Hi, I'm (insert his name here)." And when one of my other friends saw that, he started teasing him a little about how happy he was to meet my mum. So... I don't get it. I know what happened and I realise I flirted with him but I promise you I never intentionally did because most times I was just joking around. But is he flirting with me? I'm really new at this all! I've never had a boyfriend (he's never had a girlfriend) and my crushes have never gone farther than sneaking peeks at him in class, so I could really use any advice you have to give.

Well, My math teacher told us that we are popular but we are like the mean girls in that movie. I'm 11 and so is my friend-we went to the bathroom and started crying because we were so upset. I told my mom and she said they shouldn't even be talking about this, only about grades, The teachers were gossiping about us. :( I don't even care about being popular! I usually see him every day but he's been missing since 6 o'clock yesterday. That's when he left my apartment, went to his, and hasn't left since.
