I said I *might* be able to get it tested. It sounds like I won't be
able to without hiring a chem lab to do independent testing of it, and
I can't afford to do that.

No, I said that creatine ethyl ester tastes awful. MgT has very little
taste. It mostly just makes the water you put it in taste like hard
water, the way water with calcium tastes like. I personally find it
mildly unpleasant, so I put it in orange juice instead.
MgT is a highly experimental product. If you don't want to experiment
with the bleeding edge of science, you should probably wait a year or
three. There is not very much evidence out there indicating that it's
safe. However, there's also no evidence that I'm aware of indicating
that it's dangerous.
Some people are drawn by curiosity to the unknown. Some are driven by
fear away from it. Know which you are.
