about the other impacts of this steroid, but I'd be incredibly
cautious about taking anything that messes with your hormonal balance.
Especially since our bodies like to be in homeostasis. If your other
hormones adjust to accommodate this increase, what happens the day you
miss a dose?
I know, for example, that prednisone messes with kidney functioning
and it causes severe osteoporosis. I had a co-worker who took that
for lupus and ended up with six hip fractures at once while she was in
her 50's. But her lupus was better - isn't that terrific? :-(
Like I said, I don't know what this does. Maybe it's really safe.
But I'd want to know a lot more about it before taking it, especially
since you're doing fine already.
