Customize,Change Interface Colours of Command DOS Prompt in Windows7 Posted: 28 May 2011 02:05 PM PDT Command DOS prompt is perhaps one of the very important tools which can be used to customize almost any feature, permissions, access etc and do many file handing, directory functions. But its black background and white font is unchanged for many years. So if you’re bored with the default colour of the command prompt interface, here is way for you to change the colours and give a new look and feel to your DOS prompt window. Change Screen Font Text, Background Colours of Command DOS Prompt1. Launch Command DOS (search for cmd in start or Type Win+R, enter cmd and press enter). 2. Right-click on the cmd window’s title bar and click Properties. 3. In the Properties window, go to the Colors tab, where you can choose colours for "Screen Text" and "Screen Background". 4. Translate PDF, Text, Word Documents Online Using Google Translation Posted: 28 May 2011 01:15 AM PDT You have probably used Google Translate, we’ve also posted about how to use it to listen to text translations from your browser. One added functionality of Google translate is that it lets you translate text in any type of documents by uploading it from your browser. Translating Text Documents, PDF Files with Google TranslateIf you come across any document or pdf file etc. containing text in a foreign language, here’s how you can translate it your desired language. 1. Go to Google Translate (http://translate.google.com/) 2. Click on the 3. Choose Detect Language on the left and on the right select the language you want to convert the document to. 4. Click Translate button to proceed. 5. It opens a new page with the translated text… You can save this page by using Ctrl+S or selecting text and copy-pasting it to a word file. You can also try DocTranslator, a free online translation app. for translating files and supports almost any type of office, text document formats. Although I think Google Translate does an awesome job. There is also a Google translate desktop client you can download and install to translate webpages, email and other documents without opening online-translation sites.
