My name is Staceyy, I'm 22 years old, and I'm 4 months pregnant with twins by my boyfriend. We've been together since I was a freshmen in highschool and he was a junior. everything is good so far, and we've made it through a lot in the past seven years. I haven't told him about my pregnancy, because he's something like a drug dealer and he's gone for months at a time sometimes, it's stressful on him but he likes the money. Anyways I'm worried telling him I'm pregnant with twins will shock him and mess up something with the drug dealing, which isn't good. He wants kids, but I never have .. My biggest worry is that he'll think the babies aren't his, because he's awayfrom home so much. Also, he's asked me to marry him, but I declined, I'm almost positive he'll insist on getting married now, but I don't want to bring two children into this type of life style. what do you think I should do? I just want thoughts.

Can someone give me an example of where this might be seen in the film? Is it maybe referring to like what the film is saying about pride? Is it saying that pride is appreciated and acknowledged, like for example when lily sloane was taking to Picard about abandoning the enterprise and blowing it up and picard was more content with fighting the borg, so lily compared him to Ahab from Moby Dick, then Picard chose to listen to lily and as he went to tell the rest of the crew that they are abandoning the space craft, he pulls worf aside and apologies to him and tells him that he is the bravest person he knows, considering before lily convince picard, picard called worf a coward. So what is the movie saying about and what would be an example in the textbook, so i can have an understating.

So I met my friend Dylan this year (Seniors in HS). After a few months of being friends with him I got these feelings for him. He told me he liked his friend Savannah but just a little. She has a bf though. Soo w/o thinking I told him I liked him about two months ago. He of course did not like me back...& soon after in my head I began believing I no longer liked him so I told him. Since then we've been pretty good friends. We talk a lot more, text more, & hang out & all. Eventually cause of the closeness the feelings returned....but much stronger this time :/ don't wanna go in detail but things are going really bad with the girl. The main idea of it was she kissed/made out with him & then she returned to her bf. I tried to be a good friend & make her seem like she wasn't so terrible. But then she played him AGAIN...& once more after. I got tired of her BS & I told him that she doesn't deserve him...she never did. & that he could do so much better. & to cheer him up I told him first we'd throw her bf off a cliff & then we'd find him a much hotter girl. I feel really bad cause I know he liked her a lot. He's been trying to forget her..he really has. I know she's on his mind most of the time but he tries not to talk about it cause it hurts a lot. & he sees me as ONLY a friend so I'm willing to be there for him...as a friend. But he's giving me so many mixed signals & I'm so confused. I can't tell if he likes me a bit or just sees me as a good friend. I've caught him checking me out like three times..but never brought it up. Then when he was still talking to Savannah I told him we'll use his friend Katrina to make her jealous. So he texted back "nahh there has got to be someone else ;)" Idk if he was referring to me or just anyone else in general. Also he was gonna go to prom & he didn't have a date yet. But I told him I wasn't going cause of money problems. A week later he wasn't going either but in the end he had to go cause a mutual friend of ours needed a date.Then he was asking me about this prom afterparty & if I was gonna go. I kept coming up with excuses not to go but he kept giving good reasons against my excuses. Then he texted me "well if you do go, ill probably see youu:)". I tend to joke around a lot so he was like "hahaha your so funny". he'll just say stuff like that when he never used to. Before like when he'd text he wouldn't answer back after like four texts. Now we usually text until 12 AM or until he or I sleep. He was asking me advice on her. Then I told him "..well i'm just saying talk to her first cause i dont want you to do something you regret". I wrote like a three page text & he answers back "i'm glad you would stop me from doing something i'd regret :)". Also sometimes we'll talk about the stupid things girls do & he'll be like well you're not like that or you're the exception. Also like he knows i've "talked" to guys before but I haven't gotten as far as getting with them. So we were playing 20 questions & i asked him if hes ever gotten to 2nd base with a girl & then he asked me what is the farthest i've ever gotten w/ a guy. then I told him about this cute guy that I bumped into at Costco & he was like "wow he wants your digits". another time I told him about these two juniors that were using their phones to blind me & my friend & how i knew one of them from a long time ago & he was like "hmm past lover?" Also one of his friends I used to crush on always stares at me especially when I'm sitting with Dylan. So I told him & he was like "he's checking you out ;)" Then I recently lost my bff (guy) to the school slut so Dylan's been there for me whenever I needed to talk about it. Then he'll always see my FB updates...but it might just pop up on his newsfeed..so that's explainable. But like in class i sit in the other end of the classroom & in the back while he in the front & he'll always know whos sitting next to me & stuff. Like i asked him oh well yeah Ben was telling me blah blah. he's like yeah I saw him sitting by you while I was looking at the clock. Ben was on the other side of me & this girl it would've been pretty tough to see him through us & the 6 rows of people between us? the first time we hung out he took me to this wilderness ranch thing & he kept saying how beautiful it was up there on the mountain. It's really confusing with the whole Savannah thing & if I ever bring up me liking him before we'll talk about it sometimes & at other times he'll get super shortworded. Is he starting to like me or is he just doing this pity thing cause he doesn't like me? He's just been acting a bit different

A cat that lives outside my house had kittens right about two months ago. I was holding one of them today and went to put her down and her claws scratched me in two, about an inch long each, places. Although the scratches did not really bleed I could see a little blood. Within ten minutes, I washed the cuts with soap and put peroxide on them. Should I be concerned about rabies since the cats do live outside? Please do not say that you cannot get rabies from a scratch because I've read a lot of information from credible sources that state otherwise.

Today while on the bus some guy sitting across the isle from me wouldn't stop staring, I tried looking away, avoiding his face, ignoring him but got fed up and glared at him, but that just seemed to set him off. He then came and sat so that i was cornered in my seat by him and the wall of the bus so i couldn't get off, and started to talk to me. he started telling me about all his dead relatives and how they were buried in the same area, and how most of his family was dead now, and that he thought i was really beautiful and he kept looking me up and down (not trying to hide that) and saying things that made me really uncomfortable. and asking if i had plans later. I lied and told him i had plans with my boyfriend he got really irritated and started talking angry, and saying he didn't believe me and then when it finally came to my stop i told him this is where i get off please move, and he only did because other people were watching, but he kept glaring at me really angrily . I have never seen him on my route before, or never noticed but its a busy route, and i am nervous that he will be on it again, and because he knows where i get off.what should i do about this guy?

I am african american. My hair is about 3-4 inches past my shoulders. My hair is also relaxed. Currently, the majority of my hair is permanently colored by a salon product ( I believe Matrix/Biolage). About an 1.5-2inches is colored with Bigen (natural?) black. I had no problems with Bigen, but I recently came across some crazy side effects and I'm unsure if I wish to use the product any longer. ( Something about PPD and swelling, cancer, sun sensitivity and more) Naturally, my hair is a dark brown but it has so many different colors from ruddy brown to dark browns. I want a permanent hair color OR excellent rinse that will color my hair black-jet black ( Id love a really dark black. No blue-black please!). But, I would also love it to be as safe as possible. I am generally a very fun person. However, lately I haven't been as fun and interesting. I have a new best friend as a few months ago who can be very fun if you act wild, but if you don't, he can act sort of like he doesn't care (even though he does. I hope this is making sense). I feel like his casual ways are rubbing off on me and he doesn't see me as super fun anymore. He always seems to have a ton of fun with other people, but not as much fun with me anymore. I've liked this girl for about 2 years in high school now and she knows I have. She said she has and sorta did like me but than a month ago she told me she just wants to be friends. She's a REALLY nice girl to everyone but to me she's mean and she even said so herself to me. She's not bitchy mean but like playful/messing around mean. Her name is Vella, and the story takes place in modern times, the U.S. She is fifteen. I'm pretty sure she's just American/European, but some Spanish-sounding names are also okay! Please not too weird, but not too popular or cliché (smith, jones, etc.). She is part of a big, apocalyptic prophecy, so I want it to be cool-sounding, but still pronounceable. I originally had her as 'Vella Rainwater,' but I felt that Rainwater just sounded too elvish/magical for a normal teenager to have. Thanks for your help!

Hello! Just curious because I have heard history repeats itself when it comes to having babies. My first baby came at 37w2d. She broke my water and it was a healthy pregnancy and baby. I am 32 weeks now with my second (who is a boy). It's been way more comfortable this time around, but I am anxious to find out if he comes early like his sister. My fiance has a 13 yr old daughter and I feel like he allows her mother to run our house, things like this is one he pays child support to her, but he only gets to see his daughter when it's convenient for them (daughter/mom), then there goes the daughter use to only come over when we are doing things, and I felt like that wasn't right, but it changed a little. The other issue is that the mother never brings or pick up when she does come to visit us. My issue I have with that is that now that we have 1 income in the house. What is the issue with her meeting us half way especially when we always are usually the ones who come and get her, but instead he makes excuses for his daughter's mom and say well her parents told her she can't go anywhere, but when I go to get her or pick her up she's most of the time is gone. She doesn't have a job. So I don't understand what the problem be. Then when my fiance was working 2 and 3 jobs she still would not meet him knowing good and well he could be very tired. I myself also was working and have 5 children of my own to deal with be tired also. Then again he would say the same thing well we can't make her meet us or she can't go anywhere. Now here is the go getter she makes it her business to stroll through to his job at one point 3 times out the week to visit him at work without his daughter now sometimes she will have his daughter with her, but not often. She always makes it her business to let him know that she's losing weight do he think they could possibly get back together. We've been together for 11 yrs now. And she has not gotten over this situation yet. But he doesn't seem to think it's inappropriate he just says I don't pay her any mind. My argument is you need to put her in her place she's disrespecting you and me. Last issue and concern is my fiance grand mother is very ill and his daughter's mom calls to him to ask all these questions about his grandmother, now what bothers me is that 1 he really didn't see his grandmother much due to him working a lot, 2 thing is after he tells her the situation, she begins to send him texts asking if he needed anything is there anything she can do. My concern was why in the he** isn't she asking your mother this. She has yet to ask your mother anything about her mother. The one who she needs to be asking, but she doesn't. And thinks it's okay. Like I told him before it's just anything to hear his voice and or just to keep you in her present. I also forgot to tell you that yes she's is still in love with him and the reason I know this is because she's told me before and told him. So he knows and all I ask is that he put his foot down and stop leading her on by allowing her to control him and he makes excuses for her. I think he doesn't say anything because she may refuse him to see his daughter like I told him you already pay child support, so if it boils down to it you shall take it through the courts and let them deal with it cause if the shoe was on the other foot she would have your *** in court. So what should I/he do in this case or what do you think. Misunderstanding he doesn't want her. He just does not put his foot down and tell her she can't just call and say whatever and make choices like when she is coming over she can never meet us half way, but she can go everywhere else. But we have to pick her up and drop her off all the time and I don't think it's fair. And this is where some of the arguments come in to place cause he will make up excuses and I think he should be saying something. The reason why it matters is because he's not working and I'm the one who's working and I do be tired and like I stated before we have 5 other children to take care of and money doesn't grow on trees. So that's why it matters who picks her up and meets half way. It should be shared duties one because hell she doesn't work, but she can spend her time and energy coming up to his job without his daughter when he was working. Why can't she put in the same effort to bring his daughter or meet us half way to get her.

[ Pregnancy ] Open Question : back contractions/labor . . . how to time them?

i've been dilated to 4cm for almost a week now and having irregular contractions every day. but for over an hour i've been having constant pain in my lower back, which is what i felt with my first labor. and off and on it'll get a bit worse. but its pretty much always there. i'm pretty sure it might be the real deal. but my question is how to time these if its a constant pain, and when i should call labor and delivery. i'm confused. but its painful and i'm sure somethings happening. 10 points best answer :)
