[ Mental Health ] Open Question : What kind of mental illness could this be?

To back up I was VERY mentally ill when i was younger. always suffering from anxiety i went into a horrible episode when I was about 9. I dont have much memory of it but all i remember is that everything around me seemed very distorted and dream like. I remember constantly talking to myself and spiraling into rage fits often and was very out of touch with reality (according to my parents because i dont remember much). I stopped eating and secluded myself and was suicidal. I was in and out of children's hospital but they never really figured out what was wrong with me. Because of my suicidal state I was put on Zoloft because they thought it could have been depression but since it didnt do anything they took me off of it. All i remember is having a really hard time telling what was real or in my mind and problems with perception. But even that is a vague memory. I was ok besides my anxiety until a few months ago I started to relapse into whatever it was that was wrong. I didnt want to eat and secluded myself and wanted to die and was always paranoid. I realized something was really wrong when I started having the same problems with detachment from reality and psychotic episodes. As soon as I started feeling myself slipping into the same pattern as when I was younger I made an appointment with a therapist. Since then I am starting to get off and on hallucinations of stars on the walls, flashs of lights, an almost static looking pattern on things? and audial ones every so often and those are just every day. When I have a legit episode I cant really remember what happened 100% but it is like a living nightmare. Like an example of the last time it happened in my friends car and in the back seat when i noticed all of the car lights blending together and the music in the car growing louder and deeper. Their voices and the music became intwined and my ears started ringing unbearably loud. When i passed billboards they were saying things directed at me and I was seeing things outside of the car and thought that the people in the car were going to try and kill me. When i got back to the house i realized my arms looked really fat on top and really skinny at the bottom and the world was like being on a boat with that wavy sensation where it is hard to walk. I went into the bedroom and turned on the light and some of the posters on the walls were moving. After I fell asleep and woke up i was fine. But I have been having episodes like this for about 3 months again. I am going to a psychiatrist this week and want to have a little heads up of what i might have. someone please help thanks.

I had a childhood friend, a little girl, who's name was OOM-gaw-zee. I don't know how to spell it. I remember calling her either OOM-gaw-zee or UM-gaw-zee. My question is: What was her name? Is there an actual name pronounced that way? If so, what does it mean? Thank you. ;) I know it's a tough question. 10 points!

My step-son is 19 and several months ago an investigator showed up at our door asking for him to comply to a mouth swab test for DNA matching for a crime. He was later positively linked to two cars that were broke into with items stolen. His first court appearance he applied for a public defender since he has no job, his second court appearance he pleaded guilty to the damages and break ins which is a Gross Misdemeanor, but he plead not guilty to the theft which is a Misdemeanor. The papers he gave to me are hard to understand. It says he has an Omnibus Hearing, a Pre-Trial hearing, and a Jury Trial date. All of which is spaced out over several months. Why are there so many court dates for 1 charge he is pleading not guilty to? Also why didn't the judge sentence him on the gross misdemeanor charge? My step son has no transportation and I can't get out of work to take him there, he has no money whatsoever and I am barely making ends meet, so he has no way of getting to the court house, but even if he could he told me he doesn't plan on going, and that they can simply come get him if they want him. What will happen if he doesn't go? This is a first time offense on both counts for him, the gross misdemeanor is for over $1,000 in damages while the misdemeanor theft he plead not guilty to is under $500.00. I don't understand why his public defender told him to plead not guilty to the theft, his DNA was discovered at the scene and there were witnesses, and he has nothing to work for him.

Once I upload, they do not finish "uploading" so that I can actually send the email. Anyone else having this problem and a fix ob what to do? What a pain to have to switch over to GMAIL just to send attachments. Guess they want you to switch to the "Send Larger Files" add-on to share your contacts with third parties?

Well that really says it all. I've never been an extra before but I'm really thinking about it. I'm 15. I know alot of websites said they don't eat lunch with you and stuff but how often do you really get to see them? I know it probably depends on how stuck up and full of themselves they are. But I hear Beyonce likes to sit with the extras on her movie sets. So how big of a chance do you think I really have?

I got the nut turning but it won't engage it just spins and spins it will get hard to turn but then it will break free and just keep spinning there is oil dripping out but I tried to tighten it and it just spun

ok i am a 110 pound 18 year old guy. i weighed 120 3 weeks ago. i lack an appetite , i am not anorexic, i just have no appetite whatsoever (i know why, so dont tell me to see a doc, the doc knows) . i was eating very little. like under 800-1000 calories a day. now i just checked the scale and freaked out by the 110 pound thing. 4 honeybun donuts is 2400 calories, a jar of peanut butter is over 3000, so if i suddenly force myself to eat like 4000 calories a day after having ate so little for so long, how fast would it take to go back to 120? and no , i dont care if it is fat or muscle, i dont even care if its healthy.

It's not easy to see your enemy straight in the eye and say i forgive you for the damage you have cost me, knowing that family and friend's where hurt as well, the family and friend's don't wan't anything to do with this person. I only pray to the Lord that he will give me the forgiveness to forgive one day that's all i can do for know. What do you think about this?

He and a close friend of mine, along with about half my graduating class got switched to a different school. I'm going to a tailgate party at their school with my friend, and he'll be there. I'm planning on looking as hot as a physically can so he'll be interested. How can I "accidentally" find him and start a convo with him. He's a genuinely interesting guy and I wish I had made further acquaintance with him before he switched. We are both 18 year old seniors in high school.

My friend graduated from high school and is now going to college. Don't get me wrong, I proud of her, BUT she's going to school out-of-state. That's not the only thing that has me fired up. In October she joined the National Guard and three days after she graduated she went off to training. She plans on majoring in Nursing and going full time in the Army after she graduates. She says she's doing it for family tradition (3rd generation), money for school and pocket money, training and to be physically fit. I don't feel like she has made the right choices. . I feel her reasons are stupid. The military is no place for her. I took out college loans to pay for undergraduate and graduate school and she could do the same. I also worked the whole time I went to school and working now (not in the field I majored in, but at least I have a job). I feel there are other options for paying for school other than joining the military. I feel that she should go to school in-state and stay close to home. She is an only child and her mother is single. Her mother is in good health, but her mother is getting older and I feel like she should stay close to home and be with her mother and help her out around the house. I still live at home, work and take care of my mother. I don't feel like the military is something she needs to get what she wants in life. There are plenty of nursing schools in our state she could go to and be close to her mother. My mother and me have tried to talk her out of it, but it hasn't worked.

the Expenses row and all those politicians who were gotten rid of??? did they get rid of politicians who were not "on message"? were some expnses scandals ignored? were Cameron's expenses ignored? why did the media suddenly jump on this when there are much much bigger financial / corruption scandals out there??? were politicians who were not "on message" culled a bit like what Saddam Hussein did but with a bit less blood!? were politicains baited and then trapped? entrapment?? a political coup hiding behind a manufatcured expenses scandal?

so a week ago i sent in my passport renewal form using the check and send service. I am going away in a week and a half, ive had an english passport before so its not for a new passport its just a renewal. the post office said it takes 10 days. but when i researched online some people said 6 weeks?! please help! I also did the checking your process thing to check where it is so they should email me tomorrow, and i hope hope hope that it comes tomorrow cause tomorrow is 10 days.

I went to the Alice site and downloaded the version for linux. Then I followed the instructions they had on the website (Open a terminal to the directory where you downloaded the file. Run the command: tar xvfz Alice-2.0.0.tar.gz then run: cd Alice/Required then run: ./run-alice) but when i try the last command "./run-alice" it loads a few items the stops at "java:71) at edu.cmu.cs.stage3.alice.authoringtool.AuthoringTool.mainInit(AuthoringTool.java:456) at edu.cmu.cs.stage3.alice.authoringtool.AuthoringTool.(AuthoringTool.java:408) at edu.cmu.cs.stage3.alice.authoringtool.JAlice.main(JAlice.java:131)" no program ever pops up. Is there anything i can try to make it work, or anything to check that might be causing the problem?

I am really unhappy with myself and the way my life is going. Everything I have tried has not worked out or I have failed at ... friendships, relationships, jobs, different activities I have joined. Many of the people I was friends with I am not really that close to anymore, I have been waiting for the right guy but he hasn't come along, I have tried to find a job but with no success, I have not found anything I am really good at. Every day is the same for me, I am stuck at the same job for years and still not finished with school. I don't go out that much and usually just stay at home most of the time. I don't have that many friends and feel lonely and depressed. It feels like I have been waiting forever for my life to change and to find what makes me happy. I feel like a failure and like maybe I am not meant for happiness. I am feeling discouraged, what should I do?

I found a cat two days ago. She followed me home and she's been around my house waiting for me to come out ever since I met her. She seems to be very used to humans petting her as if she were a house cat. But so far, no one knows her. i just had a sharp pain in my upper left side abdomen and i feel nauseas what coul it be? i do have gastritis but it wasnt the usual pain i get. i also hav anxiety so i always over react when sumthing hurts i think right away a organ burst. I constantly check my temperature
