the estimate of thhe baby at 14 weeks is 3.5 inches to 4 inches CRL. I looked up and it said CRL means 'crown to rump' so does this mean the baby is 3.5 to 4 inches from head to pelvic area, not including the legs?

I have an ipod touch, but I wanted to get the new shuffle. I would be able to take it on field trips and other stuff with out having to worry about it being stolen. If someone does steal it, I really wouldn't care, or no one would really think that stealing it is worth it. My sister said that I could buy her old I-pod shuffle from her, but she wants 50 bucks for it. It was around 60 bucks when it first came out about 5 years ago though. What is a reasonable price that I could pay her for it. Remember, the ipod is used, and it can only hold about 90 songs. (its half of a GB) Please don't try to be "smart" and say "that thing is crap, it should be free." or "don't waste your money". I'm simply asking for a reasonable price.Thanks

I just wanted to see what others think and what goes through other peoples minds cause I still see myself as moderately big. I was 199 pounds and recently lost 58 pounds so I'm 141 right now. I'm 5'3" My measurements are... Bust - 40 Natural Waist - 29 Hips - 40 I was just wondering if I sound really big. 29 inches for a waist seems really big to me. I'm a size 7/8 and I'm still trying to lose weight (at least 10 more pounds so I'm at a set healthy BMI) Thanks for your opinions :3

We have three dogs. Whenever i pet one of the other dogs he comes over and tries to push them away. When i tell him "NO" he will stand there and lick the hand i use to pet or my arm. If he cant lick me he will lick the other dog. He also does this when ever my hubbie and i sit close. He will lick my hubby and not want to stop. I feel like his licking is his way of saying "MINE" lol. Any ideas?

my mum is convincing me to think twice before settling down with my boyfriend. He's 23 and I'm 21. Obviously we aren't settling down yet, but my mum doesn't really want us setting our minds on anything yet. He's hilarious, polite, gentlemanly, kind hearted, handsome, tall and very intelligent. But he dropped out of college due to his difficult upbringing and therefore never went onto uni. He earns about 27,000 a year, but my mum thinks he's unambitious and unsuccessful. Even though his earning as pretty much average, and pretty good for his age. She thinks I could do better. The thing is I love him, and she's almost making me second guess settling down with him. Even though I love him. Am I being stupid or is she right?

[ Languages ] Open Question : What can I do with sign language? And how to teach myself?

I'm about to start 9th grade, and I've started self study in American Sign Language. So far I know the alphabet, numbers, and 100 basic signs. Although my primary language is English, I live in Taiwan. I've started studying sign language because it fascinated me, but my international school offers no courses or clubs. And even though I live close to a school for the deaf, being in Taiwan, they use Taiwanese Sign Language, not American. And I know sign language is basically a language of it's own, so just learning signs isn't going to do much. So I'm not really sure how to continue learning, seeing how I have no courses at school, can't help out at the deaf school, or even communicate with a deaf person because I don't know any. So what should I do? Petition my school to offer sign language as a class? Start a sign language club? Learn Taiwanese Sign Language too? What way should I "take action"? Feel free to suggest how I should go about teaching myself, but I'm also looking for guidelines on how to get my community to learn. Although my main reason for learning is because I want to out of pure fascination, it's also a nice thing to add onto a college application. I want to be able to write that I taught myself (or attempted to at least, it's basically learning a completely new language), and I managed to change my community with it. So how should I do that?

[ Higher Education (University +) ] Open Question : I want to transfer to a four year university only after attending community college for one year?

Let's say I have 30 college hours and that's excatly how many hours I need to transfer to a four year university. So, I only attended community college for one year, will colleges like that? is my acceptance rate lower if i only go for one year?
