Re: [CardioTrainer Users] Force restart when Noom is updated?

Hi Ann – Thanks for your comments. What version of Android are you running on your phone? There might be a bug that's specific to that version.

As for Noom being beta, we honestly haven't planned that far ahead, but it's something we're going to carefully consider when making the decision. It's still early in Noom's development, but we'll be sure to keep all of this in mind as we're improving all of the applications, including CardioTrainer Pro. We really appreciate your support so far, and it already shows a lot that you took the time to write a message here!

Let me know if you have any more questions.

All the best,
Charlie

For the second time I installed an update for Noom on my android (HTC Desire, Froyo), and for the second time my phone force-closed and restarted immediately after the installation of the upgrade.
Don't know if this is intended behaviour or some bug, but it is extremely annoying.  I know that on a Windows PC sometimes a restart is needed after the installation of new software, but then you're always prompted to reboot the computer.
Today I was just writing an email, when the app suddenly closed after the installation of Noom....

And another question...
I think the present version of Noom is still, and therefor free...
Now I'm wondering... When Noom will be out of beta, will it be a paid app?  If not... I would be seriously disappointed, since it than became a free app, with the same functionality as CardioTrainer pro... and free, only shortly after I purchased CardioTrainer Pro.
If yes... will people who already have CardioTrainer Pro have to pay for Noom?  In that case, I would of course stick with CardioTrainer... but I would be still disappointed, since I have the impression, that CardioTrainer isn't further developed anymore, allthough it was promised that people who bought CardioTrainer Pro, would get all the future new functions that would be developed... (But of course: if no new functionality will be developed, that's very easy to promise....)

Hope you can confirm what I'm hoping to read, that who already has CardioTrainer Pro, won't have to pay for Noom once it is out of beta...
